I just replied to our last Eyes of the Ten dayjob block, which had a boon roll... not sure this time, so I included it again just in case. I would assume so as it's a multipart game that began during that last online con...

GM Z..D.. |

When we started, we were under the Online RSP. I guess we are still playing under the most recent RSP.
If you wish to roll for boons, go ahead. a 19-20 gains a boon. Followed by a d6.
In the meantime, you all will be receiving 10,796 gold, not including any day jobs and 1 exp point.

Day Job Profession (solider): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Boon: 1d20 ⇒ 2
So I forget do we level up for the last 2 parts or are we suppose to play the last 2 parts at Level 12?

![]() |

Forgot to mention, I'm buying several things.
Aegis of Recovery
Belt +2 dex con
Circlet of Persuasion
Robe of Arcane Heritage
Sleeves of Many Garments
Traveler's Anytool
And I may buy a few alchemical power components

![]() |

We should all hit level 13 now. (was 2 xp, for Part I, and 1 xp for Part II)
My Part 1 was only marked at 1 XP, 1 PP and half gold, taking me from 34 XP to 35 XP. Now Part 2 will take me from 35 XP to 36 XP, so I should be 13.0 like everyone else yes? (I forget why I opted for slow rate on part 1, if Part 3 and 4 are 1 XP... hmm...)

![]() |

Ok cool. Knew there was a reaaaaaaaason! :) :P

Name: Zinou

GM Z..D.. |

Will began part 3 by the end of this week. In the meantime, level up your characters.

GM Z..D.. |

Had some free time tonight so I went ahead and posted the opening to part 3, as well as the faction missions for you prestige points.

In regards to those faction missions.
The one for Part I, and apparently now this one, for Part III, involve a spy in Eliza's household.
I've been trying to stay out of these missions, so as not to mess over any actual Liberty's Edge types... but Strang's first instinct would be to go rat these guys out to Eliza. Not do what the note from Maldris says to do.

GM Z..D.. |

If you don't think your character feels comfortable with that one. You can take a look at the one for Scarab Sages, Concordance, Grand lodge one.

![]() |

upgraded a few things and ready to roll. I got a couple of spells for camping safely either underground or in a tree if we need a secure shelter to sleep in.

GM Z..D.. |

I've been saddled with a trainee for the foreseeable future. So my posting may slow down. Will try to get in a post once per 24 hours and more on my days off.
Sorry for the slow down.

![]() |

Accursed "Trainee"... more like Unholy Preventor of Paizo Boards Screen Time During Breaks!
We shall offer a prayer to Abadar (or Brigh, or Nethys, or whoever fits best) so that his training proceeds at a lightning pace!
:)

GM Z..D.. |

Luckily my trainee has some common sense and is picking up rather quickly. So shouldn't be too long.

Out of town this weekend...will try to post, but no guarantees, if you needed bot Bos...I'm back late Monday.

Question about obscuring mist (obscuring rusty hairs?): is the stuff settling on the floor or basically just puffed up in a 20' radius sphere centered on the ground (i.e. 20' tall hemisphere?)
Just asking for next rounds as I have Air Walk from the Good Doctor... (tm)

GM Z..D.. |

It is more of a dust cloud. And not it is not settling.

![]() |

Is it a 40' tall golf ball resting on the ground or a 20' bowl that's upside down? Are the rust girallons inside the clouds or above them?

GM Z..D.. |

its the first option. They are within the clouds. They can also see through them perfectly.

![]() |

Thanks!

GM: where on the map are the prisoners chained to the posts?
Since there are 15 of them, I was not going to add them to an already chaotic map. They are tied to the large poles.
The scenario does not really give me a mechanic to free them. And the map does nor really provide me with space to add more poles to it.
If you wish to free them somehow, just let me know what you intend to do and we can work something out.

![]() |

I was told by one of the local venture captains/lieutenants that it had been ruled to work. Basically that 'A creature isn't really a 15'x15' cube, so it can actually still fit in the pit.'
I never saw the ruling myself.
But no big deal either way, I got's plenty of other spells to use. Though to me it seems even more silly that a huge giant can make a DC 26 reflex save. But that's the game as it is. It's all good. =)

![]() |

Hey is the giant rock fist with blue lining a creature/target? not sure what to have Theodric do...

![]() |

Hey is the giant rock fist with blue lining a creature/target? not sure what to have Theodric do...
Not sure what it is, but it hit me when we came in. So assuming it is a bad guy thing to attack. At least I'm probably shooting it next round because it hit me.

![]() |

Hey guys, are we still waiting for one of us to do their turn? just making sure you're not waiting after me here... I think I moved an attacked the fist last week.

![]() |

Hey everyone! Sorry for the absence. Having the schedule set up took my wife and I a bit longer than expected. It should be back to "normal" now.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised and impressed. This scenario is as well written as I had been told. The fights aren't as 'meaty' as they could have been. But I suspect a lot of that is power-creep over time with all the books. I think several of them would have been much more difficult with just Core campaign characters like when it was first published. But all-in-all the story and set-ups are pretty darn good.
Plus We've got a great GM, which always makes a difference. ;)

Agree really enjoying it! I ran this years ago for my home group, we did it all over one weekend at a Castle themed B&B...it was a blur and a whirlwind. So I forget most of the plot points. I do remember as I prepped it being very excited about all of it and I see why as we play through. Funny how many things you forget, like I knew that was the real Adril, but I couldn't for the life of me remember it was Simulacrum!
Thanks GM and fellow Pathfinders for a memorable time so far!!

![]() |

@GM: Simulacrum is the most questioned spell in the game. Your interpretation is as good as anyone else! See links below for some of the things they can do, as per James Jacobs, LOL!
It can do the hanky panky real good!
It 'feels' like the real thing too! :)
They can't heal magically or naturally...
If the simulacrum is a humanoid, hold person works on it.
Not canon, but JJ does not allow construct or undead simulacrums.
Why some of these questions focused on the... ahem... 'non-combat' aspects of the spell... I do not know... :P

![]() |

... Castle themed B&B...
Was it the one in south eastern ohio called Ravenwood? I've been there and it is pretty cool. They used to have a small gamers con there in winter/spring, I don't know if they still do it or not.

![]() |

Yep Ravenwood! Fun place and yeah they still have a couple cons. One in Late Feb and another in early July. I haven't been to either, but one of my best buds always goes to both and loves them.

GM Z..D.. |

Thanks for all of the kudos guys.
And yes, power creep is real and does make the adventure a bit easy. I know of some GMs will only run it four characters at a time. Even in core setting, more than four players can be rough on the scenario.
In reference to the spell, i did not look too far in it. I was just started with, could it be dispelled and then it led me to the illusion aspect of it.
And since you all figured it out, I may just end up calling this scenario, skipping act 4, and then starting the final scenario of the series.
Any objections?

![]() |

Nope, but I'd love if you could sum up the plot/story for the rest of the scenario!
