"Stand back!" barks Voros.

"The liquid is a strange substance known as black blood, collected from the lightless Vaults of Orv far below Golarion’s surface. Any creature who touches the liquid would be damaged by cold. It can also be used as unholy water or to boost necromantic powers." he explains.

Continuing through the Orvian and through the opposite door, leading them into a gallery.

This small gallery displays an impressive collection of Tian art. Upon shelves lining the room rest dozens of handblown glass baubles, each hiding a tiny etching of a bucolic scene within. Above the baubles, stylized brush and ink paintings hang upon the walls, depicting carp and dragons amid rolling waves and wind-whipped mountains. Wooden stands about the room display a menagerie of small ivory carvings, including a pair of foo dogs, several unusual dragons, a bear, a fisherman, a cluster of rats, and an osprey.

If you choose to detect magic as you go, you notice the osprey radiates magic.

An arch to the north opens to a curved passage. To the east, a small antechamber houses a curved staircase rises up into darkness.

We will go ahead and move over to number 12, just to clear this level before going up

The walls of this wide hallway are hung with hundreds of exotic masterwork swords, daggers, and other bladed weapons from distant locations within and beyond the Inner Sea region. Small placards beneath each provide the weapon’s name and details on its use, history, and country of origin. To the west, the hallway ends at the foot of a massive, curving staircase

Theodric looks for a certain weapon here and places it in a large-sized regular, non-magical sheathe he carries on his back. "There's a magic greatsword I must recover for the Crown of Taldor. It belonged to a high ranking Pathfinder Agent and it wasn't sent back to his estate with the rest of his belongings upon his death. From what we are finding about the Ten these days such an 'omission' by the Society no longer surprises me. It has sentience and I would rather not enter in a battle of wills against it, so if we find it, can we place it in a bag of holding or handy haversack if one of you carries such a device?"

Taking the sword respectfully by the hilt, Theodric replies mentally.

Oh, that's nothing! sorry for the show I put on earlier, but a man of my peerage must project loyalty to the Crown at all time. My true thoughts on Taldor are slightly more... nuanced. But now that you have made your opinions clear, I trust that I may confide a secret of the utmost importance to you, as you have proven your undying loyalty to Vothuemont and the Decemvirate, or at least the spirit of what the Pathfinder Society should strive for. Hear this, and commit it to memory forever, and swear to never repeat it unless you absolutely trust the wielder with this knowledge and that he will use it for the good of Taldor. This is secret knowledge that the high-ranking elite of Taldor need to know, but that the people never must hear, as too much water has already flown under the Grand Bridge of the Empire since the illegitimate acts have been committed and for the good of Taldor, we must now move on with what we have in place and focus on the future and the advancement of its people, instead of fueling yet more feuds between capricious and ill-intended nobles...
...Now... a few years ago I have discovered the secret lineage of Stavian's so-called royal line... our current Emperor, Stavian III can trace his lineage directly to Stavian I, who was the Taldan monarch who infamously outlawed the practice of Sarenrae's religion in 4528 AR. Grand Prince Stavian I, scourge of the 'Dawnflower Cult' and ancestor of the present Taldan emperor, was in truth born a bastard, his mother not the wife of Grand Prince Micheaux as history maintains, but the disgraced Lucretia Adella. Should proof of this be made public, the impact on Stavian III's line of succession is incalculable.
From the information you just imparted to me, dear friend, it seems that history is repeating itself. If what you say is true, Grand Prince Stavian III may have been doing the exact same thing Grand Prince Micheaux was doing back then, but instead of bringing the bastard into his own family, Stavian III instead opted to focus on his own legitimate children and conceal the others. May the gods protect Princess Eutropia from the claims of an angry or vengeful bastard sibling. The gods know she's endured enough in her life, starting with the loss of her brother, Prince Carrius, who died in an accident in his youth. I have my own thoughts on this, but that is a conversation for another day.
What be thy name, immortal holder of the Taldor's truth?

Will post an update tonight. About to have a lot of moving parts for the next few sections of the map.

Since Theo was able to kick in the door in one shot. The bad guys had no time to prepare, buff or hide. So, minor retcon, you can see the baddies as you enter the room."

So Lavode, no casting your battle buddies quite yet

Huddling on the far side of the room, just before the shadowed hallway, is a group of three individuals.

The female human wielding a bow looks up and smirks, "at least its not the blasted constructs" She then goes to raise her bow.

The female elf in the group smiles and goes invisible.

Boswick takes one look at the people in the room, Something tells me you should not be here! Adril's lackeys no doubt.

Voros gulps down an extract he should have drank waaay before the fight and perceives the location of the elven archer.

"There!" he shouts, pointing at a point in space.

If Lavode can't see footprints or disturbance in the detritus on the floor, he will go by Voros' words. Looking where Voros is pointing, Lavode slings a glob of sparkling motes at the spot.

Glitterdust. Trying to hit the invisible foe. If I think I can also get the other upright enemy, I will. But that is a secondary concern. DC=22 will save or blinded. I will say roll a d4 for which intersection I pick close to where Voros is pointing. Count clockwise. intersection: 1d4 ⇒ 4

Dr Strang is correct. Haste has not been cast yet for this combat. This means, that the archer is not dead, but instead bleeding out. So still out of the fight.

Seems to be some confusion. Yellow was the archer, before Theo cut her in half. Blue is a female elf, carrying a short sword, who is now invisible. Red is a half-elf who carries a scythe and wears hide armor.

Boswick moves forward and strikes red. Leaving a gash across his chest.

Voros chugs an extract and is now able to pinpoint blue. He calls out the location and gestures to an area just west of Boswick.

Lavode cast glitterdust, coating everything in the area. Decided that you would not want to coat the paladin in glitter dust. A feminine figure is now outlined in gold particles. She cries out as the particles blind her.

The man in front of Boswick cast a spell defensively. Boswick, will need a DC 19 fortitude save and if that fails, a DC 19 will save

Boswick if fail:
You turn into a rat. If you fail the second save If the spell succeeds, the subject must also make a Will save. If second save fails, the creature loses its extraordinary, supernatural, and spell-like abilities, loses its ability to cast spells (if it had the ability), and gains the alignment, special abilities, and Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores of its new form in place of its own.

Spellcraft DC 20:
Balefule Polymorph

Combat Rolls:

will save: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9

cast defensively: 1d20 ⇒ 17

Again, no E. Just Strang

It appears to him that the rest of the team have things well in hand... though he is unsure on their enthusiasm.

If he can, he will make his way over to the archer lady, and try to stabilize her, in case they need some questions answered later.

Am unsure where the npc's are, but think I can get to the yellow one?
