Mone runs to stand between the hobgoblins and the fort, taking care to avoid the Entangled area. As the hobgoblins are described as running towards the party to the fort, I’m assuming that Mone is starting out closer to the fort than the hobgoblins are and doesn’t need to move very far? Adelie will place his Entangle spell so that it hits as many of the 3 as possible, but if he can’t hit all of them, he’ll try to place it in such a way that the edge of the spell is not far in front of the hobgoblins. In other words, a character standing some feet (10? How dense are the plants/trees here? How far apart are the hobgoblins?) in front of the hobgoblins between them and the fort would not be in the entangled area.

Mone doesn’t like being glared at, and she’s pretty sure these people aren’t friends. She likes Adelie very much, though, and is happy to spin if that will help. She chases her tail in a circle a few times, then looks up for affirmation..

Mone stares at Aragnak with shameless admiration and wonder. To Adelie: Adelie, look, look, you were right! There really is a dragon. My teeth aren’t nearly that big. Do dragons like wolves? Do dragons eat wolves?! They eat humans. Don’t worry, Adelie, I will protect you if the dragon tries to eat you!

Mone feels a rush of joy as her jaws close around a wererat. Adelie will be proud! She's a good wolf, and a strong wolf, with sharp teeth and - and a fine dust tickling her nose. She sneezes, confusion just starting to dim her happiness, and then begins to cough. Violent, uncontrollable coughs that soon give way to retching and gagging. She was the largest puppy in her litter. She'd always been strong and healthy, and she'd taken that vigor for granted. She knew the world was dangerous, but she healed quickly and she could always count on Adelie to help her with any serious injuries or illnesses. The idea of dying had never even crossed her mind. The blood dripping from her mouth is no longer mostly rat blood. Her throat and lungs are filling up, and she can't breathe. She can hear Adelie screaming, trying to cast any spell that might save her, but it's too late. Mone collapses, gurgling and twitching, on the cavern floor, before finally surrendering to the cursed dust.

Mone looks up, still holding the rat she recently finished killing, and notices that she's alone in the cave. Alarmed, she runs and scrambles her way towards her allies, following the fiery sphere. Can she make it over the rubble, or is the sort of thing that requires hands to be easily climbed over?

Mone rounds on the last rat, hoping to sink her jaws into something before every last rat has perished.
