I don't want to add spoilers but the final encounter was one of the most memorable for my players of all time.

the layout and information made this confusing to run and did not offer much in the way of carrots to draw players into the story

I hate to leave a negative review, but as many others have said this scenario is almost entirely mass combat using pre generated armies. The scenario also does not seem to account for the time it may take for everyone to familiarize themselves with these rules and as a result can run far beyond a standard 5 hour slot.
