Computer is fixed. I'll be catching up over the course of this week to get caught back up. Apologies for the delays.

Sucks about this game, but it happens. If you're still checking the forums, GM Eric, thanks for at least trying!!

So this morning my computer decided to go all screwy on me. I didn't have time to troubleshoot so I'll be looking at it tonight. I'm hoping it's something minor but wanted to give a heads up if I don't post that's why.

I have to agree, I too am having trouble tracking the flow of combat. Maybe something like just saying 'onto round x' or somesuch may help?

I can go either way. I like Roll20 since I use it every Sunday for my home game (well, it's on Roll20/Google Hangout now because of people scattered across the country, but still my home game in my heart). I also won't be able to access Roll 20 very well at work. But then Google Drive doesn't work at work very well either, really hit or miss.

There is always the Treat Deadly Wounds option from the Heal skill, but it's pretty hard to do and isn't much healing.

Pathfinder PRD wrote:
Treat Deadly Wounds: When treating deadly wounds, you can restore hit points to a damaged creature. Treating deadly wounds restores 1 hit point per level of the creature. If you exceed the DC by 5 or more, add your Wisdom modifier (if positive) to this amount. A creature can only benefit from its deadly wounds being treated within 24 hours of being injured and never more than once per day. You must expend two uses from a healer's kit to perform this task. You take a –2 penalty on your Heal skill check for each use from the healer's kit that you lack.

Taking a moment to help Asura divine the nature of the discovered potions, Meria than proceeds to find an appropriate location to center the effects of the scale. "I will trust my instincts, and thank you both for the affirmations."

Once in the location, she kneels a moment first and offers a prayer to the Inheritor. "Goddess of Justice and Valor, in your name and with the aid of Terendelev, I sanctify this place in your name." And with the prayer uttered, uses the power of the scale.

Meria let's Aravashnial know the situation first. "Four of the dwarves in this temple have risen as undead and attacked us. Beradesh has already defeated one of them."

She then moves behind Andanan for a moment and summons a magic field of force around him. "See if that helps to protect you."

Sounds good. Don't wanna risk upsetting Torag just in case.

As this is a chapel, I assume that there's a fixture of some form to Torag? I ask as I'd like to consecrate the area, what with the undead. But if there's a permanent fixture to someone other than Iomedae it just cuts off Torag's connection.

Recalling the last scale she had picked up, she offers it to the only one not yet to have received one. Honestly I thought we had all picked one up by this point, and being one of the last ones didn't think to make a big deal about it out of character. Meria tries to hold her tongue at the nobleman's words, preferring to focus on helping the woman, but when Baradesh scolds him, she flashes him a smile in gratitude. She utters an incantation to her (Message cantrip), "Mia, be cautious, and see if you can convince him to stop with the spells. Those are flare cantrips, and can blind someone for a moment. A sense of panic wells inside Meria when the demon appears. For all of the resolve she had thought she had built up, this was something far greater than she thought her first battle would be.

Andanan's words shake her out of the terror. Turning to him, seeing him holding Mia, she realizes they have to act or face a potential slaughter. "The Wardstone is gone. That means the demons could appear anywhere. Over there, they look to be evacuating civilians. Let's head in that direction for now." The day was like most others for Meria. Up in the morning for prayers to Iomedae, followed by focusing her mind to prepare her arcane energies, and then some light exercise to prepare herself physically for the day.

Coming downstairs she finds her mother Jeselaine outside, practicing her swordplay, the completion of her own morning ritual. Meria can't help but watch her from the doorway. She knew her mother wasn't one of the greatest fighters even in this city, and with her leg she would never be. But Meria always admired her determination when she trained, focusing on trying to keep her balance while practicing forms, a dedication Meria tried to emulate in her own studies.

Jeselaine saw her standing there, and came up to her. The two had been fighting last night about Armasse. Her mother needed her to help with the tavern that week, but her instructor Beegrund Skelt, a former comrade of her mothers, had a chance to have her participate in one of the contests, showing off her magical talents. Jeselaine surprise Meria by telling her she spoke with Beegrund after Meria had went to bed and convinced her to give Meria this opportunity.

Meria had lessons to attend with Beegrund later today, and a few errands to run around the city yet. So she headed out to handle a few chores, and maybe see some of the people entering the city.
