In the interest of speed, I will roll as follows and let you decide. the most important thing is that i stay in cover, i'd choose to shoot from cover and do less damage than move out of safety for a more damaging melee attack.

doesn't bother me, my initiative bar is full but on the campaign tab i think, he has all the scores listed to copy/paste. We could just notify him of discrepancies from that.

ah no i got rid of the meta link after that was explained to me, haha

i think i will be happy with my initiative once i get a rank 2 Synaptic Booster, so i'd have 10+3d6 initiative. So I'd be guaranteed two actions but have 3 on average.

Also I just realized i have Tracheal Filters that are somewhat redundant with the respirator in my helmet. I guess they stack, which makes sense in a way, but it seems like a lot of defense dice against a somewhat uncommon thing.

once i actually save the money I will probably sell my tracheal filters to make room in my essence for synaptic boosters. and by that time i might actually have enough karma available to raise an attribute.

Hmmm, well with more nuyen i can upgrade or swap out some of my chrome for chrome that uses less essence to make room (i know the essence doesn't come back but the void is still there to be filled).

I will look at Synaptic Booster and see what I can come up with. But Lightning Reflexes won't stack with it, you say?

hmm, how does one increase their initiative? I missed where it can be done, i see Gunner has much more than my measly 8+1d6 and as you can see by the other stats I have, i intended Max to be not only strong but fast and agile. I imagine I have to spend Karma somehow to get more initiative?

dont really have a map but i am picturing some cars between the party and the enemy. I want to be in a position of relative cover from enemy fire but able to attack anyone that should charge at the party. prepping the whip takes my "standard action" though.

working on advancing Max, never done an advancement before so trying to figure it out.

I increased Driving, and gained Hardware as an active skill. I figured these were the skills Max used the most that were outside of his comfort zone (a.k.a. least trained in) that he would have learned the most during the missions. I didn't spent any nuyen, turns out cyberware is REALLY expensive and even having had 6k plus the 12k wasn't enough to get me anything.

Mardi Gras was fun, but didn't live up to expectations, which was good and bad. The wife and i bought VIP tickets so we watched the parade from an area separate from the worst of the crowds. People were relatively tame, so there wasn't and flashing going on that i saw, but there also wasn't a bunch of puke everywhere, which was nice. The parade wasn't as crazy as i thought it was gonna be, instead of your typical floats it was basically a car show form local car clubs, but they were just throwing beads out to everyone. There were a few pseudo-floats put on by local gentleman's clubs and radio stations.

GM: regarding the first couple lines of your rewards post, is that 2000 nuyen/1 karma added to the above, or is it separate for some people? Not sure what "working for the man/people" is to designate.

Max will turn off all wifi, using offline mapsoft to reach their destination (first priority is to turn the girl over to close out that job, don't wanna risk Liam showing his face at the turn-in so definitely want him outside until it is payment time. then we can all head to turn in our other jobs.) Max nods back, runs up and tags Liam with the shock glove. (hoping the stun won't compound his other problems with those 9 dice she laid on him)
(gonna basically look like a stiff-arm, pushing him away from her and getting some distance so she won't be inclined to hit him again)
as for the hit, i think i can buy 3 hits especially considering the plan was to let me tap him. if i can do half-damage, i would, i just don't know if that is an option, i know you can take a penalty to do the opposite of the weapon's normal lethal/nonlethal setting, but i dont want to do lethal damage to him, just a shock to put on a show for clone-girl.

yeah well i figure she might be desperate to get out, and Max also isn't a social dynamo, so it is probably fitting. though i imagined simply too gruff rather than rapey. i dont picture him as creepy, just a guy who literally doesnt care about feelings (low essence/humanity).
