Xara Your AoO slices off the mouth from the Masters body, and he screams, not in a way that would suggest physical pain, but more like emotional anguish. I assume you are using a Hero-Point for the second attack. It does hit, and the Master seems truly wounded with a large gash in his left leg, his lower torso and his upper torso.


Belros You make the fort save so you are only sickened, -2 on all checks.


Akor Actually your second arrow did hit, because of the way it was typed I miss read it. The arrow does not penetrate as far as you would expect though.

Xara You graze the Master a bit, only damaging him superficially.

Belros You trip the Master again, the repeated knocks to the ground has further opened the gunshot wound on his leg.

Standing above the pit is the Master and his dwarven slave girl. Behold I bare my gifts of Lamashtu on this holy day for all to see. The master removes his tunic and shows his deformed torso and legs. His torso has eyes and mouths in it, and his legs are slightly bowed and hairy like a goat. Let the first sacrific commence! Returning to the pit is the four horsemen themselves! Today they face six newcommers, the mysterious humans from Nex. Let Lamashtu bless this sanctified pit with all the glory of the abyss! KILL!

The Gnoll mutants jump to the pit in a single bound. One wields a great-axe, one wields two two-handed swords, one has many spikes on his armor and is the only one with a helmet he wields a shield and a polearm, the last one wields a very large and heavy tetsubo and heavy armor.

The odd dwarf approaches almost skipping with cheery delight Prais be to Lamshtu this morning. Are you all ready for your next step to becoming Gladiators? It is so nice to have capable warriors other than Gnolls and Calikang. I almost want you to succeed, but I fear you will not. To give you a fighting chance though, this time I have brought you suitable weapons and armor, worthy of a Gladiator. Wear them with pride and honor for Lamshtu!

A group of smaller humanoid mutants that appear orcish bring over a cart of weapons and armor. The Weapons are Master Work. The armor is piece-meal, but it is higher quality and there is enough to make full suits of to give you at +6 AC -3 check. You must pick one limb to be exsposed, head counts as a limb. You can pick any weapon to be a master work in the cart to wield for this match.

The Gnoll Mutant lets you out of your cages to suit up and make any last minute preparations. This time we go to the pit, on the way to pit you may wear your weapons and armor down the road of a hundred screams in honor of Lamashtu, on this holy day.

This odd Dwarf jumps out of his seat with apparent glee. By an amazing upset the slaves have overcome Snarlk. Snarlk was not worthy to be a gladiator and has failed, but Lamashtu will accept his sacrifice and he shall walk with her in the here after. The Master says then makes his way down to the arena.

The Arena gate opens on the side that Snarlk came out of, and five Gnollish Mutants come out armed with rifles. Drop your weapons and stand down humans, the Master wants to speak to you.

The Gnolls have readied actions to fire and will if you resist.

The portly dwarf waddles across the arena with two calikang body guards. Perception checks, if you beat a DC15 then give me a Knowledge Nature and/or a heal check.

Marvelous, I did not think it was in you. Elemion is sly indeed, magic users that can fight as well. It would be a disservice to Lamashtu to give you to the Calikang, I shall keep you and train you as proper Gladiators, isn't that great!?

As you may or may not be aware of, I am the Master of the Wasteland, but you can just call me Master that is fine. You are probably wondering where you are, why you are ect ect. You are in the Manawastes, specificly my humble residence within the spellscare desert. Well you see, Elemion wanted me to have you die in my illustrious arena.

The portly dwarf wipes the sweat off his brow and pauses for a momment.

A grand death that would be, but Elemion is a sly one and did not tell me you were all able to cast magic. And well you see, I have a previous agreement with my big blue friends here that anyone that can use magic is to be released to them.So, after some discussion, we have decided that if you should survive your first fight in my arena, then you shall be released to my Calikan friends here, who will try and see if you can recharge the wasteland!
