Is this the relaunch of the card game? Thought this was supposed to launch later this summer at GenCon.

Any idea whether or not the spreadsheets will open properly and work in Google Sheets? (Or whatever the Google version is called.)

Does anyone have links to the latest and greatest spreadsheets incorporating the Ultimate Campaign rules? My tabletop group will be starting Book Two very soon and wanted to go digital with that portion of the game.

Thank you!

This scenario got brought up during today’s GCP Ruins of Azlant episode. The guys seemed to have very fond memories. Looks like I’ve figured out what scenario I’m picking up to run during our first Pathfinder Brewery Game Day session.

Try another shop, or ask to speak to a manager and show them the FAQ?

Help! I attempted to have these paper miniatures professionally printed on card stock today and was refused due to "copyright issues." Can anyone clarify if this is actually an issue.

Years ago I had Skull & Shackles paper miniatures printed professionally without an issue.

I brought PDF copies of my Kingmaker paper miniatures and Kingmaker Book 1 to a Staples for printing and was refused due to copyright issues. The employee told me that I am eligible to print the documents out but they are unable.

Years ago I had several copies of Skull & Shackles paper miniatures printed out at a FedEx / Kinko's location and there were zero issues.

Is someone able to clarify for me whether or not this should have been possible to do? Both electronic files are "signed" with my name digitally and I have proper photo id.

Thank you.

Purchased and absolutely beautiful! Thank you.

I bought this set back in 2013 and it looks like we'll finally be starting book 3 in a few weeks! Woohoo!!!

Uh...the normal list seems solid for Tian Xia flavor, actually. I mean, you can summon horses, giant centipedes, tigers, elementals, monitor lizards, giant scorpions, etc.

It's not limited to Tian Xia flavor...but it's not really limited to any one flavor. Just keep to thematic stuff for the most part and you should be good.

Thanks, I'll give the tables another go-over and see about limiting my selections rather than looking for something completely new.

I'm going to be working up a new Wrath of the Righteous character to replace my Samsaran Bloodrager who died last night. She has been reincarnated with the memories of her very first life ... as an Alchemist (Preservationist).

Was wondering if anyone knows of any Summon Nature's Ally tables that have been worked up with a Tian Xia flavor or what might be some good creatures to replace in the existing table.

Thanks in advance and sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong location.

This is actually pretty interesting, it sets up an alternate reality Golarion campaign setting! Want to really spice up the setting, just drop this into play.

At least 3 of us are in the southern New Jersey suburbs of Philadelphia... Which is blowing my mind.

So you're saying you live in Jersey? :)

My Bloodrager is very much looking forward to getting her hands on that scythe!

That said, I'm really looking foreword to what paizo comes up with.
They have never let me down in the past....and if by some strange chance this is not to my taste...well then I have all of Galorian to explore, and can skip this little section of it.

If they represent the feel of "technology" in the same fashion as the Clockwork reliquary from the Shattered Star AP....I'll be as happy as punch to add this to my table ;)

I haven't played through Shattered Star so I'm not sure, how much Clockwork technology appears in it? I remember that miniature from the figure previews but have no idea at what point it appeared in the AP.

Right. 4/9ths casters don't get cantrips. Paladins and Rangers don't either.

Hero Lab isn't perfect. You should have CL 4.

Thanks. I figured that Hero Lab was just behind the times with the playtest rules. I was at least hoping for detect magic. Then again, no one in the party actually knows I'm able to cast spells yet.

I think I've missed too many things about the class I'm enjoying playing right now. So I've hit 4th level and have access to 1st level spells now, but no access to Detect Magic?

And Hero Lab is showing my spells as Caster Level 1 but everything else seems to indicate that I should be Caster Level 4.

4th

Thanks. That's what I was hoping.

All this time in my head I've been thinking that the caster aspect of the Bloodrager was nerfed because it was held up until 4th level. Then last night I'm doing a closer reading and realized what you just confirmed above.

So I missed this during the Playtest since I was starting a Wrath character at first level. Now that I'm hitting 4th level and am able to cast 1st level spells, what is my caster level? Do I cast magic missile and shocking grasp as a 4th level caster or 1st?

Really? I couldn't disagree more. The twin marilith manages to have the "two creatures visibly fused together" without looking horribly deformed, and the minotaur just looks cool. The ghoul is no less awesome looking, admittedly, though it's less interesting.
The minotaur's artwork may have a little bit of a rough look to it but oh wow I want to fight that thing.

PS - And I didn't mean to imply that I didn't like the minotaur artwork, I think it looks great. It just doesn't have the "polished" look of most things we see from Paizo. I still very much look forward to going toe-to-toe with it with my Bloodrager!

Our campaign is currently 12 months into our build cycle and one of my players has been discussing building a black market outside of the normal kingdom build cycle. He wants to operate it alongside his thieves guild which we built using the downtime rules from Ultimate Campaign.

We were discussing "magic item economy" when we suddenly noticed the huge discrepancy between the 50 BP it costs for a kingdom to build a black market versus the 2,200 GP earned capital it costs for a character to build it on their own.

There's no way a character-built black market generates 3 minor, 1 medium, and 1 major magic item ... right?!

Gah! After deeper reading, looks like we were incorrectly trying to mash two different sets of rules together. And at the same time had completely overlooked the fact that the "selling magic items to produce kingdom build points" concept had been removed from the kingdom building rules in Ultimate Campaign.

So many rule sets!

Wow, I really do like the idea of making Tartuk a summoner. That would be a great twist to the entire scenario. Looks like I might have to pick the Mite/Kobold situation up out of Kingmaker and drop it into a homebrew I'm putting together so that I'm able to use that concept for a new party.

Yeah, I could definitely see where that would be a fun little part of a session and cause some major confusion.

You can choose to activate as part of when you activate Bloodrage, and it lasts throughout the entire Bloodrage.

Not sure what I was thinking, yes. Thank you.

I'll be honest, I really like the character that I've created around the Celestial Bloodrager for Wrath of the Righteous but otherwise I don't think I'd be playing the class again. Said to my GM tonight, I think the class is good at a lot of things but great at none of them. Maybe I'll feel differently in another level or two.

For the Celestial Bloodrager, is it possible to get some clarification of Wings of Heaven? There are no specifics given.

Quote:
Wings of Heaven (Su): At 8th level, you can choose to sprout feathery wings and fly with a speed of 60 feet and good maneuverability. At 20th level, your fly speed increases to 80 feet.

Is it as the 3rd party Rite Publishing spell? Standard action casting time and 10 minutes per level?

What would be the economy on using the wings throughout the day? Is it possible to use in 10 minute blocks of time?

Thanks.

Any hints about archetypes?

Are all of the official changes so far listed in Bulmahn's first post?

Just started playing a Celestial Bloodrager for Wrath of the Righteous last night and only got to bloodrage once. In general though, really looking forward to getting deeper into the character next week.

Curious if "official updates" will always go at the top of the discussion threads? Like Jason did with the three updates to the Bloodrager. (Currently the only Advanced Class I'm concerned about.)

As a comparison, Svetlana is a 3rd level noble, 4th level expert specialized in banking and moneylending. Kesten is a 6th level cavalier (He started as such instead of as a fighter). Jhod is a 6th level druid. All three are council members. Oleg died early in our game, so I can't offer a comparison there.

Thanks for the info. Jhod is definitely one of the NPCs who I've been negligent regarding. He is on the Council as High Priest and has helped the party out several times with healing. Kesten also sits on the Council as Marshall and his stats have never come into play aside from straight up role-playing.

Just curious how others have done this. My players are into 7th level and we've about finished book two. Yes, I've thrown a lot of extra stuff at them since we're not necessarily sure if we're going to stick with the AP as-written or just kind of open things up. But anyway ...

I was wondering how other GMs have leveled up some of the NPCs who were included in book one. If the players have progressed to 7, how many levels of expert should I give to Oleg and what about Kesten? Plus I'm going to be introducing one of the Swordlords as an on-the-scene NPC for the one year anniversary of the kingdom.

Suggestions?

I've decided to play a Samsaran in my groups upcoming Wrath of the Righteous campaign and this thread has been ridiculously helpful! Thank you James Jacobs.

Has anyone heard any rumors about a paper miniatures set being released for this adventure path? My online group is two weeks away from starting this book and ... yeah, a set of paper minis would be perfect for tokens!

Thanks Liz. That would be great news.

After reading through Vic's response ... I would say this (in case anyone actually sees this thread), at the end of Wrath of the Righteous I'll be cancelling my AP subscription and then restarting it when Iron Gods comes out. If there was a cheaper PDF-only subscription the likelihood of me keeping the subscription through the Mummy AP would be 100%.

I'll never run the adventure but would love reading it. Just like the Desert of Desolation so many years ago! I loved reading those modules cover to cover and we never came close to playing them.

It strikes me odd that you'd be willing to buy a subscription to a monthly PDF, but buying a PDF every month is unacceptable.

-Skeld

You know, you're right ... I'm an idiot. Right now I'm not purchasing enough extra materials to make the 10% off additional items worth it. Thank you!

Was wondering if this had ever been considered?

I'm currently a subscriber but I'm not planning on using the dead tree version of Wrath of the Righteous. Is there any chance Paizo might consider a completely digital subscription plan at some point?

The usual response at this point is for someone to point you here :)

tl;dr - Paizo rely on the print subscriptions to keep the print volume high, and allowing PDF-only subs could damage this too much. The print subscriptions are too much a core part of the business model to be able to consider the risk.

Thanks, my weak and feeble search didn't come up with that thread. Much appreciated.

Oh, this is so getting stuck into my Blighted Fey area of Kingmaker!

I know there are some amazingly talented people in the Pathfinder fanbase and incredible websites out there. But does anyone know if someone has created a spreadsheet or something where you chose the item you want, the materials / bonuses / etc, plus your Craft roll and BOOM ... cost and length of time to prepare.

Anyone know of anything amazing like this?

Wonder if there's any chance of a table listing alchemical components and the creatures they come from? Maybe it's been a long kept Alchemist secret that the final ingredient in alchemist fire is dried, ground Goblin.

Purchasing this week! Can't wait to use these along with my online Kingmaker game. My online and tabletop players are going to be inundated with unique artwork.

And I can't wait to do the sticker paperboard trick. So much easier than gluing things together.

Haha awesome! Congrats to Perram and Tink for being selected for this honor. Very awesome indeed.

Then you are going to be super excited for the Emerald Spire Super Dungeon coming out next year (targeted for GenCon)! It is going to be a massive hardback written by some of the greatest authors ever!

And available as PDF to us Kickstarter backers!

Also the residents are part of different "factions" within the town, so one group might take it the wrong way if the party is buddying up to one of the other factions in particular. It just gives lots of room for roleplaying.

So, looks like I'm going to be running this for my online group. Any chance we'll be seeing a paper miniatures set for these AP books as they come out?

Absolutely love the paper minis in my tabletop games but they're a lifesaver when it comes to running a game online!

I'm really glad this is happening. I know there is going to be a very vocal group of people who are unhappy with a "science fantasy" adventure path ... two of my friends have already responded with 'yuck' and 'ugh' text messages.

The thing for the haters to keep in mind is that while players feel very passionate about this one way or another. And a lot of the developers at Paizo have been eager to try this. At the end of the day Paizo Publishing is a business and they know there is a enough interest in this to make it profitable for them.

So for everyone who is bound to come into this thread and start trashing on Paizo and saying how it is going to ruin Pathfinder ... take a deep breath ... it's not going to ruin the game or the company or your experience. This is 6 months. Play the Mummy AP and then get ready for the "regular" AP that comes after this one.

Thank you Paizo!!! I've been looking forward to something like this since I started playing Pathfinder two years ago.

Oh yes oh yes!!!
