I brought PDF copies of my Kingmaker paper miniatures and Kingmaker Book 1 to a Staples for printing and was refused due to copyright issues. The employee told me that I am eligible to print the documents out but they are unable.

Years ago I had several copies of Skull & Shackles paper miniatures printed out at a FedEx / Kinko's location and there were zero issues.

Is someone able to clarify for me whether or not this should have been possible to do? Both electronic files are "signed" with my name digitally and I have proper photo id.

Thank you.

Wonder if there's any chance of a table listing alchemical components and the creatures they come from? Maybe it's been a long kept Alchemist secret that the final ingredient in alchemist fire is dried, ground Goblin.

MEGA-DUNGEON. (Extra-planar or Kaer Maga maybe) Shattered Star just wasn't what my guys wanted. They wanted something on the scale of like Rappan Atthuk, Temple of Elemental Evil, Tomb of Abysthor, or even Greyhawk Ruins.

Then you are going to be super excited for the Emerald Spire Super Dungeon coming out next year (targeted for GenCon)! It is going to be a massive hardback written by some of the greatest authors ever!

And available as PDF to us Kickstarter backers!

It took 8 hours for me to run this, so you should be able to finish it in a couple of evenings.

I look forward to your review, and I'm especially interested to see how it works with your changes.

The players had a great time with the beginning of the adventure. I think the decision has already been made the we might end up stretching this module into some kind of story arc with these same characters.

Not really a spoiler but details about what went down in our game:
We started playing last night and didn't progress too far into the module. It ended up only being 4 players, our 5th couldn't make it. They had some fairly well designed 6th level characters but they aren't straight-up killing machines. The party was pretty successful of their investigation at the inn but interactions with the citizens of Dustpawn were laughable.

Always surprising me with something, they decided to rent a boat to get to the location in Part Two of the module. That figured out, the four of them made quick work of the encounter at B1 with only one of the characters taking significant damage. There was minimal bloodshed at B3 and the party returned to Dustpawn a bit more encumbered than when they left. Alyssia Turpin was not pleased to be awoken in the middle of the night and told the 'obviously' drunken adventurers to come back by the light of day after they'd slept it off.

And that's where we left it for the evening, we'll pick up playing again next week. The party has picked up enough clues that they'll likely be heading straight to Part Three or trying to check out A10.

Any chance there is a Pathfinder Paper Miniatures set in the works for this module? Please! Please!?

I absolutely can't wait for this module to come out. This fall I'm putting together a newbie group (zero experience with RPGs) and after running them through some generic encounters to teach mechanics we're going to do full-on character creation and then jump into this.

Plus I'm looking forward to pulling some information from this module to use to expand on "Doom comes to Dustpawn." I have a feeling after running that module over the next few weeks my players are going to want to continue that into a full blown campaign.

I can't wait to get this, as I am halfway through running the Varnhold Vanishing and *really* want to see the revised kingdom building rules.

And I am very much hoping that these rules include a straightforward way to randomly generate settlement magic items using the tables in Ultimate Equipment.

I'd been looking for one of those too ... check out this thread. Someone put together a Google spreadsheet to do the work for you!

The Adventuring Party podcast! These guys are awesome. I know I'll never be attending a Con in Ireland but it doesn't stop me from listening every week as they do previews and reviews of the various conventions.

Discussing table-top and related gaming and the Irish gaming scene so you don't have to.

I mean, come on ... that's a great tag line.

And I don't mean to be a troll but this has annoyed me all the way through this thread. The word is correctly spelled "laser". It's an acronym for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation.

These look great! But I have no idea how to paint mini's. How does it differ from metal to plastic?

These minis are some of the least expensive you will find to practice on, and they are better quality than what you will likely find at a similar price point elsewhere.

Plastic and metal paints very similarly. A beginner probably wont notice much difference. Personally, I liked metal minis more in the past when I was primarily playing RPGs, but have recently come to favor plastics for wargaming. The newer plastics can get high detail that used to be exclusive to metal.

There are lots of guides for painting here and elsewhere. If you need paints, the Reaper ones in the kickstarter are fairly good quality.

Agreed on being good to practice on. I've never painted a miniature in 30 years of gaming. Heck, I've still a few boxes of AD&D miniatures that have never even come close to a paint brush.

I'm in this kickstarter at the $100 level and I'm sure the first things I'll be trying out a paint job on are the mech warriors or something like that. But still, I'm sure I'll be able to figure out a way to incorporate them into a Golarion game some time!

I picked this pack of paper miniatures up last week not really sure if I was actually going to be needing any Orcs for a homebrew that I was running on Friday evening. Turns out I ended up not including any dungeon-dwelling Orcs but after looking through the PC-oriented Orcs I immediately changed three NPC characters into Orcs!

They went from being three probably non-descript NPCs to suddenly being the "Green Guys" in the corner of the bar. The paper minis worked out perfectly.

Also loved the various tribes of Orcs - plains, mountain, etc. This led me to introduce plains and woodland Goblins into the brand new campaign setting.

Can't wait for my players to run into their first horde of Orcs!
