After getting sick and then moving my g/f down to North Carolina from NY I'm finally back. Still some unpacking and stuff to do, but not enough to keep me from posting. Nate, can you let me know when is a good time to chime in?

Hey guys, I have strep throat so I have been out of it the last couple days. I think my body is starting to win though so I'll try to post up today.

Oliver's heart thumps wildly for a brief moment as the door opens, revealing the ghostly figure before he realizes it doesn't seem to be threatening.

Hoping none of the heroes noticed his jittery nerves, he quips..."Perhaps it is merely a vain attempt to scare away trespassers?"

...An echo from the past?

Oliver walks forward and waves his hand through the phantom image.

Oliver eyes grow wide as the alcove opens into a darkened hallway...he looks toward Tera.

"I don't know that 'impressive' is the word I would use. This place is really starting to give me the creeps."

Hanging back with the rest of his new comrades he looks behind him... making mental images of passageways... thinking about the fastest route he can take out of here if things start to go really south

After the crab retreats Oliver gives the untouched treasure one last wistful glance goodbye before turning to Keade. "Well, it looks like this crab just wants to be left alone. Perhaps we should go see if Tera or Sal have found anything."

Oliver's eyes grow wide with envy at the thought of sharing in the "vast" treasure and succulant crab dinner.

His bow string, taut and ready to let loose an arrow at the first sign of battle from either side, slackens as Tera and Sal begin to back away.

Well, I guess that's that

He falls back with Kaede...keeping his bow ready. "Good idea Kaede, probably not a bad idea to keep an eye on this thing... just in case"

Not realizing it until Sal mentions something is amiss in the water, Oliver Jumps back at the sight of the moving helmet.

"By the Gods! What is that!?" Oliver draws his bow and aims an arrow at the oddity not really sure if it would even help.

First hellish beasts and now this? This trip is turning out to be a lot stranger than I expected"

Oliver stands awkwardly still, essentially stunned by the speed at which the heroes dispatched this shadowy figure.

”There is no doubt in my mind that you heroes are destined
to defeat whatever evils plague this land.”

Looking up at the statue "Well Tera, I have to admit... I like what you have done with the place."

I noticed that my arrows and many of our weapons did not seem to do much to those over-grown dogs, Does anyone know how we can hurt them if we run into more? -Uh , without being able to shoot fire form our hands?"

Oliver continues firing, hoping that his arrows are counting for something against these creatures as they seem to almost absorb the damage on impact.

Finding it difficult to get a clean shot at the remaining beast, Oliver quickly makes his way through his comrades, into the chapel and shoots.

Oliver looks visibly disheartened by the lack of effect from his arrow, but then smiles to himself as Kaelaah's flames consume the beast.

Apparently, adventuring with heroes is not without its perks.

The creaking doors sound almost thunderous against the dark quiet of the hall. As they unfold, revealing the macabre scene they hid, hellish sounds cause Oliver to tremble slightly. He gulps hard, fighting his desire to flee... his knuckles turn white as he grips his bow tightly... the trembling stops and he fire a quick shot at the snarling best.

Oliver fires his shot at the yeth to the left side of the group

Oliver nods to Kaede "As you suggest." and pulls an arrow to his bow string while muttering quietly. His eyes begin to glow faintly red as he attempts to blend into the shadows.

Let's hope this is a lot of preparation for nothing. Then again, ridding this country of a few more goblins with the help of these heroes might not be so bad

Oliver jogs over to Sister Amet-Ra and reaches out his hands to help her unload and decides it best to heed Sister Amet-Ra’s wishes regarding the timing of the ritual.

”Whatever you believe to be best Sister. Going in while it’s still dark and while any potential goblin scum in there are remain in a drunken sleep would certainly give us a distinct advantage.”

Hm.. This could be a good opportunity to make the path to Thistlestop a little safer and see what these heroes are made of. I just hope they don't get me killed in the meantime...

"That's a good plan Sal. I'm decent with a bow, I'll help take up the rear as well. Be vigilant, goblins and other creatures like to pick at travelers on this path. I'm ready when you are."

I was initially interested in the tower of ages... but I think the wild wild east game sounds pretty amazing.

I think I would personally be more interested in doing something new. I could commit to post 3-4 times a week. I know others would still like to post multiple times/day, but even every day would be difficult for me at this point.

As the ranger falls uncontrollably toward the ceiling he quickly casts a spell causing him to land soft as a feather. Flipping over to land his feet on their new ground he takes aim at the fiery maiden once again.

Oliver taps into the power within him as his bow begins to frost over and crackle with energy before letting loose his arrows on the wrathspawn.

"Val...That eye clearly senses we are here, we will need to be extra careful to maintain our surprise."

After tasting what might be the best water he has ever put to his lips, Oliver attempts to save some in his canteen. "A portal to the plane of water?… I am not sure how useful that would be for us desert folk Reggie."

He nods in agreement as Justinius and Jim suggest moving forward with Jim scouting ahead. "I am not particularly fond of crawling through these dungeons… waiting to be attacked has never been my forte."

"I understand that subtlety is not your strong point Jim, but perhaps a little help will not hurt.

Oliver casts invisibility on Jim before he sneaks off just in case it might come in handy.
