Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Can we rest then while we finishing the player modification.

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Oh, ok. In that case, I would rest. I thought it was retreat all the way. Retcon my statement

I would recommend we rest to recover here soon. We have been traveling for awhile. I think we could safely back to that bolt hole we found for protection and then proceed after these who were captives have had a chance to recover. Also, it would allow us who have traipsed through these dungeons to recoup and plan our next steps.

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

I have no reason not to continue. I know there is something going on here that attracts my attention. How do the rest of us feel?

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

I will start using my 5th level character now Medicine Untrained: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Moving forward to grab his dagger out of the stabbed goblin, Lalandar will turn to Kerkko, We need more information first. What so you know of these goblins? Were they torturing you or just keeping you prisoner? I guess the real question is have you seen any bigger ones, leader types?

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Lalandar will start by casting True Strike, then drop his rapier right where he is too draw a dagger so he can throw it at the goblin closest to escaping.

Dagger Throw: 1d20 + 4 + 20 ⇒ (5) + 4 + 20 = 29

can I assume damage?

Damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Would you like me to start using the new stats? Or continue with my old spells and things?

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Will you Delay Tigris so I can get out of your way? If so.. Lalandar will try and chop the goblin in front of him in to smaller bits.

[Ooc] Focus pool pt should still give me +1 [/dice]

attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
damage on hit: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

attack: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (8) - 1 = 7
damage on hit: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

As he slices, Lalandar is to focused on his next move that none of them land. Lalandar will use the goblins dodges of his slices to duck out so Kitty can have a piece of the goblin he just flailed at.

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Can I somehow duck out of the way so the kitty can try and have a snack?

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Do I still get my focus pool? Assuming I do, i will use a pt. If I dont, subtract one.

With a goblin right in front, Lalandar focuses his might and takes 2 swings.

rapier: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
rapier: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (13) - 1 = 12

The first one seems much more effective cutting because the goblin ducks back from the 2nd swipe
damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
of course the first time a roll a crit threat, the rules change..

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

On a complete side note, I'm excited to redo my spells after our next "rest"

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Assuming hit..
Icy Pain: 1d3 ⇒ 2

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Seeing the goblin, Lalandar will point his finger and whisper his spell shooting ice and cold wind through the figures.

Ranged Touch Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

I plan on casting ray of frost when I get multiple targets in the doorway

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

ASingle file was my thought, yes.

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

any opposition to the table idea?

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Say the first one was for Conn
Sense Motive Blade: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (4) - 2 = 2

Alfren
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
Sense Motive Blade: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (2) - 2 = 0

Jorma

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17
Sense Motive Blade: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (13) - 2 = 11

Unto
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
Sense Motive Blade: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (4) - 2 = 2

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

I just wanted the blades higher score lol

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Looking at the new "recruits," is this going to be a problem? We don't have time for this. I don't have sense motive, can the blade run it for the men?

Looking towards the hall, Lalandar has a plan. Grab the tables, at the very least, let's make it harder for them to get in. Put them on the sides, it will narrow the entrance. Hopefully keep them from overwhelming us quickly.

I'm also going to prep a spell. Ready to use it whenever the goblins begin to mount their attack. Chill Touch to increase my damage when they walk in.

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Initiative: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

if the goblin ran away from us, we could send the wolf rushing back to get the weapons. Stand our Defense right here and then hope he gets back before too many show up. Either way I was thinking he went ahead to grab them and then we'd get them sooner.

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

I cannot in good conscious leave prisoners. Who is the quickest of us?

which way did he run? The direction we came from or farther down the passage?

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

We have 2 choices. Try and fight our way to the stairs or set up a defense. This room has only one exit. If we do defense, it might be our best option.
Perception checking room Ferrum is in: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Not wanting to chase, Lalandar will try to stab the fleeing goblin in the back

Rapier: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16

Damage on hit: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Can you update the map so I know where I am with respect to the goblins. I will attempt to attack the one that was on the other half of the flank on Bose. If there is no flank, I'll hit at the one I already cut at and missed.

After the swipe went by, Lalandar will attempt to cut deep. Using a point from his arcane pool, he will get a +1 to attack and swipe again.

Rapier: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Damage on hit: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Sure.. stabby stabby

Rapier: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

assuming damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Bose D20: 1d20 ⇒ 5

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

That was my plan.. knocking them over or out of the way. Now on my sheet, I have a CMD of 19/16.. is that right? Or should that be 22/19?

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

If we use the table, we can clear a space to get the other two.

Assuming Bose agrees, Assuming a strength roll? strength: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

below the overturned table, is that a wall or an open space?

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Ferrum, can you use the table as a weapon?

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Lalandar has no need to go first.. are we delaying so Ferrum can kick the door? I will delay also, drawing the rapier. I will, as quick as I can, follow Ferrum into the room and slice at the nearest target.

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Init: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8 Perception to hear/understand Goblins: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28 yes, I speak goblin

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14

In a whisper sounds like more. Do we want to take a hostage and see what we can discern from an interrogation?

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Looking at the chest, Yeah, I dont see much of value here. Be wary, remember the ones we thought we heard a moment ago.

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

how about a map of the keep?

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Then Lalandar will grab the key and try to open the chest.

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Do we need a another perception check to see if the trunk has a trap?

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Identify magic in the potion vial: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (16) + 11 = 27

I wasn't hit

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27

After letting the battle juices slow, he turns Did someone say they heard something?

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

After his swing, Lalandar will quickly "reload" and try one last time

Rapier: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17

third times the charm?

In case of hit damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Lalandar will try to put the big guy back down,

Rapier: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
But as before, the blade will slice by, this time he mistimed and actually swung before the goblin was able at the height of the attack.

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Woth everyone stumbling, lalandar will continue trying to chop the goblin down.

Rapier: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Lalandar takes that chop but the goblin saw it easily and turns enough to allow the sword to pass by without even scraping his hide.

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

I'm going to get hit with an AoO aren't I?

Lalandar will step into the room and try to be the breeze that blows that huge guy down

Rapier: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

damage on hit: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Well in that case, I'll just step up behind Bose and take the shot. Also, as I make the move I'll call out Hey Jaonos, Ferrum could use some help

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Lalandar will rush in, side stepping Bose to get in that square below him and drop the torch. Then will attempt to cast magic missile, aiming at.. Just realized I'm not sure what level I am knowing at least level one, I'll target the big guy that aimed at Ferrum first then if I can, shoot another at the archer.

Force Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
damage of 2nd: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Let me know if I get a third, it would be targeted at the big guy again.

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

init: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

Let's try to go quick. I dont like being out in the open longer than we have to.

Male Elf Magus (Bladebound) [HP 38, Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +5, CMD 19/16, Init +3, AC 16, touch 13, flat-footed 13, Perc +8]

try the door again, maybe they moved something out of the way? then switching to elvish Please stand back. We will be trying again.

would I know the language most used in the area after hanging around town?
