Oh yeah I should've advised that our homebrew game with permanent injuries is very Iron Kingdoms-y with not that much Magic but a lot of Mecha-Magic :D... loose a hand? Spend some money on the prostetic one !

I don't see how permanently hindering a character can be fun really, always have a way to make up for it, giving their loss an outcome that would be "managable" for the character and would give it flavour.

Jeez, that's even worse, we're back to my statement a few posts above: no greater totems and another level 10+ rage power for PFS skalds :( !

In an hombrew game of D&D 3.5 our dm as a "wound" system he created, for each 1 pt above your Fortitude you'd pick one selected wound (numbered from 1 "this is but a scratch" to 50 "straight in the heart").

You'd need to heal X amount of hit points to cure each wound, before you could receive any heal, and some of the wounds had permanent effects on your character (i.e. loosing a limb or an eye).

Please hit the FAQ button... this really is an important clarification needed from Paizo.

Pretty sure that actually using this rule has ever wasted a +1 bonus on a flaming/frost weapon as a standard action is wayyyy too costly.

As a Skald I do admit I'm feeling kinda screwed by the RAW (ok, you gain reach, but you loose between 3 and 5 fixed damages usually for a level 10 skald, which is really bad...).

For question number 2, for the greater spirit effect it's listed as "at the start of her turn", but there is no such mention for the lesser one, which leads to confusion when a whole group starts using it (while under the skald's song effect).

Does taking Greater Spirit Totem remove the +CHA component of the spirit's slam, effectively dealing less damage if you have a high charisma? Or should I read it as 1d6+CHA?

Additional question: When do the spirits from the lesser spirit totem attack? Beginning of the turn? End of the turn? Whenever I want? (for example when passing by an enemy?)

Greater Spirit Totem: While raging, the spirits that surround the barbarian become dangerous to any enemy adjacent to the barbarian. Living enemies adjacent to the barbarian at the start of her turn take 1d8 points of negative energy damage. In addition, the spirit wisps can now attack foes that are up to 15 feet away from the barbarian and the slam attack deals 1d6 points of negative energy damage.

Lesser Spirit Totem:
While raging, the barbarian is surrounded by spirit wisps that harass her foes. These spirits make one slam attack each round against a living foe that is adjacent to the barbarian. This slam attack is made using the barbarian’s full base attack bonus, plus the barbarian’s Charisma modifier. The slam deals 1d4 points of negative energy damage, plus the barbarian’s Charisma modifier.

Ok I see... but can a 1 intelligence summoned monster be affected by the skald's song?

Unless I'm mistaken, rules say activating your flaming weapon is a standard action (which is very s%**ty)...

If my Spell Warrior decides to provide a +1 enhancement bonus and the flaming enchantment when she starts singing, do each party member accepting her song has to spend a standard action activating its weapon... or would they burst into flame right away? (which is way more stylish...and useful :D)

Aren't Stirges on the druid's summons list? I probably missed something... sounds like fun tho... :-D !!

For the Barbarian it's stated: "A barbarian cannot select from more than one group of totem rage powers"

There is no such mention for the Skald. Could a skald share rage powers from two different group of totem?

Or should we just consider this works as it would for the Barbarian ?

Oh well... just hit level 9 and was planning on taking extra rage powers to share an additional rage power with the party... guess I should start looking for another feat then...

Edit: official reply on this matter/FAQ would be greatly appreciated, if it's the case, this means a skald would have no way to take a complete "totem" line and another level 10+ rage power in PFS.

People makes the game awesome or terrible. Hence why I avoid playing with some of them that I know will ruin it for me, because people matter way more than the scenario we're playing.
