for the most of the cheesiest of all comfort foods, is Macaroni and Cheese, I would suggest that it be a Lager fortified Macaroni Cheese. with Smoked Gruyere Cheese and a Sharp Yak's Milk Cheddar.

The difference between version 1 and 2 is one trait ( version 2 is more legal where it doesn't have 2 social traits and version 1 has two social traits, I will explain in my background story why I think version 1 should be allowed, if not I will be glad to go with version 2 ( it means 1 point different in cooking )

Background:

From the age of 4 to 14 I spent them living in a monastery, I was just a boy with out a past and with out parrents. I spent all of time in the kitchen with Jeoff the Chef there that him and I became really good friends.Jeoff had a huge passion for Cheese and he started teaching me how create cheese dishes and I started learning everything that I possiblely could.I was intregured with cheese as well, by the time I was ready to learn to cook. I started when I was 6 to learn to cook. I spend those young years of my life learning the in's and out's of his kitchen. When I was 14 he told me that he was going to spend the little coin that he had to get me into the culinary school in Abaslom. I attened the school for 5 years. I had taken every possible cheese course that I could at the school. At graduation, I was 4th in my class after 3 other chef's. I had heard thru the grape vine that it was because I was a cheese chef that i was 4th, I should have been first. So I went to the River Kingdoms to train at a farm that had a cheese master. I spent the next couple of years learning the art of farming and creating my own cheese and creating new cheese dishes. It wasn't too long after I got there that I heard of Jeoff's death. I decided that I needed to go back to where it all started. I took over for Jeoff and ran the kitchen for 3 years. At this point I was told to leave again. This time by the Headmaster who was telling me that I was wasting my talents, that I should go and work in a resturant some where. I went back to Abaslom to the culinary school. I spent 6 months there, before I heard about the opertunity at Lord Schmultzfeather's.

Character Application
I've borrowed (ok, plundered) the following questions and the pre-game RP'ing from DM Immortal's Recruitment Thread as I think they're a great foundation for my understanding your character. Please answer the questions and then begin the roleplaying.

1. What position do you see yourself eventually in on a ship?

2. How do you feel about piracy in general? (This includes stealing, killing, plundering, etc.)

3. Which campaign trait are you selecting and why?

1. What position do you see yourself eventually in on a ship?
I see myself as the ships doctor. My alchemist would have the required skills to be able to keep the ships crew afloat.

2. How do you feel about piracy in general? (This includes stealing, killing, plundering, etc.)
I really do not have a problem with it at all. I have been aboard ships most of my life and they seem not to bother me too much.
3.Which campaign trait are you selecting and why? Ancient Explorer

SRD wrote:
Benefit You gain a +1 trait bonus on Knowledge (history) and Knowledge (local) checks, and one of these skills is a class skill for you. In addition, you gain Cyclops or Polyglot as a bonus language.

The Reason Why I am choosing this trait is because my guy is interested in learning about the relics of the past and being able to make a pretty gold off of them.

Roleplaying Introduction

It is early evening in Port Peril. The sounds from the tavern are just starting to pick up as the sailors, merchants and visitors gather for the evening. A halfling woman stands on a barrel in the corner, playing a fiddle and loudly singing vulgar tunes. The bartender, a man missing most of his teeth and one of his eyes, stands behind the bar, wiping the glasses with a cloth that is filthier than the clothing he wears. There are several empty tables and stools at the bar, waiting to be filled.

That's when you arrive…

I pull up to the bar looking over at the man and smile slightly. Can you please tell me sir where I can find a place to make some copper for the night? Also may I have a glass of water please? I am parched and have no coin at the moment. I can how ever help you out if you need, I am an alchemist. I can whip up some items for you in batter for bed and a meal for the night if you care. How about some pills that you drop into water that will cure your worst hang over? Hmm I can produce you some for a nights stay and a hot meal?

As the title states I am a newbie to this but I am interested in playing a game or two online. I have a couple of char concepts that I am interested in playing. They are as follows

Elf Alchemist level 1

Human Cleric of Calistria level 1

Also I would be willing to fill any role for a party, I am an experienced player from 3.5 and pathfinder.

Please let me know if you want more information on them. I have them 90% fleshed out for this. I would really like to play anything at this point. I have only one RL game and that is every other Saturday. I work at night so have a lot of time to join the games and play.

Please let me know if I can be of assistance

Thank you.
