I had no notifications either. But I do have ranks in here, and a spell slot left to heal him. :)

Khaz made a motion for everyone to group up together towards Jocasta, and moved to do so.

Being completely out of his element, Khaz shouted an unheard warning and then ran towards the darkness, staring intently at it as he tried to figure out what was going on.

Unable to hear anything, Khaz continued forward. If any danger was here, he wanted to be the one to face it first. He glanced down at Radiance. Seeing it renewed his resolve. He had to be worthy of the relic. Failure wasn’t an option.

Khaz entered the room, walking in complete silence. He kept his eyes out for any danger.

With Khaz next Molos, he was able to protect his ally. Swinging his mace in a large arc, the ghoul had an easy choice: abandon it’s attack or die. Not that the choice truly mattered, because Khaz was able to get a second attack in, just as powerful as the first.

Khaz took the first blow on his armor and, anticipating the second, grabbed the spear with his free hand. He then stepped forward and slammed his mace into the demon.

This wasn’t going well. Two of his comrades were down, and to his great surprise one was Jocasta. She was as tough as any came, so seeing her fall was disheartening. He fervently prayed that the two yet lived. But the only way to find out was to clear the room, and he aimed to do just that.

Khaz felt claws get past his armor. Instinctively he spun around and with a resounding *crack* brought his mace down onto the offending gargoyle. He had confidence that the group would be able to finish off the foes after he shattered their stone hides.

I paid enough for PF1 books to not feel bad...and besides, a vibrant community here is the best commercial they could ask for when it comes to their products.

The enemy had landed, and Khaz strode forward. His mace was shaped as the holy symbol of his goddess, looking to be a golden falcon. It glowed as he raised it, filling with the divine favor of the goddess...

”Aye. I’m Khaz, Holy-Warrior of Bolka. Got made leader of an expedition into the world-wound. I’ll tell ye all about it when we get back to the army. This here is Jocasta. Damn good with a sword, especially when she magics it so that it explodes the poor fookers she stabs. And that’s Lorena. Got a lot of power in her, and she uses it well. ‘Ain’t nobody I’d rather have at me side. Which is good, as two of the lads were grabbed by them stone-hide bastards, and we aim to get them back. Glad we ran into ye two, as if we waited for any others our friends wouldn’t make it.” Khaz said. ”Now get yer spells up, and let’s do this.”
