I'm resurrecting this thread as I recently started playing it again. There are a number of mods since my comment earlier. There are new classes and different quirks/diseases. I really don't often play non-multiplayer games, but this one I've sunk about 80 hours into so far. (Skyrim was about 80 hours too, but 360 hours on a fps)

Funny, and even slightly appropriate to the fantasy world - slaymate let's plays. He's someone who plays Darkest Dungeon pc video game and talks about it. He plays other games too. I enjoy his vocabulary (haven't heard him curse) and he seems to be having harmless fun. I guess his channel is insomnia knights here's the link Insomnia Knights
I flaunt my imaginary pet flamingo in it's true pink color to test you. It has magical power to confuse and anger. Squack Squack it says. I'm bad at arguing so often I'll just look at my flamingo and know he's the best. I'm not even going to look at your flamingo, mine's better! That's why I didn't read carefully your flamingo posts, I'm stomping in now cuz I got the jist. Squack!

Understandable that personal hygiene wouldn't count. It is more of a habit than a ritual. Here's a ritual (I think anyhow), I enjoy listening to era specific music when visiting past stomping grounds. I often either have an album or mixed tape that I used to listen to when I lived in different towns, and when I go back, I try and bring them out and listen to them.
Yes the end of an era. Eclypsed by 27/7 cartoon networks where you don't need to be worried about waking up in time. Where we don't have to dread the last cartoon ending, then bowling coming on. Where the commercials on the cartoon network are about different cartoons (and one about kid through adult sized footed pajamas). It is the end of an era, a routine of saturday morning cartoons. It has been replaced with the loafing middle-ager who sleeps in on saturdays and watches cartoons mid-day. The era has grown up, as we have, and we couldn't be prouder.
My feelings are hurt by this. The variety of his act, from standup to gwh and gmv, gave me the impression that he had experience with absolute euphoria as well as hopeless despair. I am grateful he could harvest that intensity and portray it through his acting. Spoiler: I also feel a little better having posted.
I'll admit, this weekend wasn't the greatest for me, but, I did notice a few things that have been helpful. I am a believer in habit, and habits can be fun (and not bad for you). I wear different apparel for different activities and times. This may be no-brainer for some, but I used to get up, put on jeans and a shirt, and that was what I wore. Everyday, all day. Now when I want to work out, I'll change into workout cloths, and even if I don't feel like going for a walk or bike ride before, once I do I tend to be more open to it. A long hot shower @ night then into my pj's gets me sleepier than usual, and once I'm out of pj's in the morning I'm dressed for something else. (work cloths for work, jeans for erronds or apartmentwork/cleaning). It is a little intuitive, and fairly simple stuff, but it tends to work for me. This is probably the 2nd step after making a habit of meditating.
Spoiler: I've found that having a plesant scent around for meditation helps me focus on the present moment. I guess that's why the inscense is big in the east (I don't use inscense because of smoke). This weekend I was tweaking out for a bit (ate some unhealthy stuff), eventually I meditated for 10 minutes and prettymuch completely snapped out of it. I had neglected to do it the prior day and think it caught up to me.

Government actually embraces bitcoin in meeting. I agree that it's a speculative virtual object currently. Pricing must be a nightmare for vendors. We can use it to purchase real things. I donated to a radio show in bitcoins. Mises.org offers purchase in bitcoins as do a gold/silver dealer site i found. I'm not sure I follow your post yellow. Bitcoins are mined by user's computers who verify transactions. A company cannot create bitcoins unless they have computers that do the work. Even then, bitcoins are released at a steady rate based on work input. The OP seems like the printing press of Bernanke senario, but bitcoin doesn't work like that.

I read that since it says "can only apply to melee weapons" in the description of the enhancement of furious means that unarmed strikes are excluded. I note this because other enhancements don't have a qualifier on what they apply to. From your quote "so long as they can be applied to unarmed attacks".
confusion bomb:
Spoiler:
Confusion Bomb* (Su): The alchemist's bombs twist the target's perception of friend and foe. A creature that takes a direct hit from a confusion bomb takes damage from the bomb and is under the effect of a confusion spell for 1 round per caster level of the alchemist. Reduce the amount of normal damage dealt by the bomb by 2d6 (so a bomb that would normally deal 6d6+4 points of damage deals 4d6+4 points of damage instead). An alchemist must be at least 8th level before selecting this discovery. confusion spell:
Spoiler:
School enchantment (compulsion) [mind-affecting]; Level bard 3, sorcerer/wizard 4
Casting Time 1 standard action Components V, S, M/DF (three nutshells) Range medium (100 ft. + 10 ft./level) Targets all creatures in a 15-ft.-radius burst Duration 1 round/level Saving Throw Will negates; Spell Resistance yes This spell causes confusion in the targets, making them unable to determine their actions. Roll on the following table at the start of each subject's turn each round to see what it does in that round. d% Behavior 01–25 Act normally 26–50 Do nothing but babble incoherently 51–75 Deal 1d8 points of damage + Str modifier to self with item in hand 76–100 Attack nearest creature (for this purpose, a familiar counts as part of the subject's self) A confused character who can't carry out the indicated action does nothing but babble incoherently. Attackers are not at any special advantage when attacking a confused character. Any confused character who is attacked automatically attacks its attackers on its next turn, as long as it is still confused when its turn comes. Note that a confused character will not make attacks of opportunity against any creature that it is not already devoted to attacking (either because of its most recent action or because it has just been attacked).

I second the Eldrich knight instead of the AA, I was going for Arcane archer, but decieded to take EK instead. Bonus combat feat, yes please. Take transmutation as specalty school and you'll have plenty of duration spells to cast on your weapon, prettymuch all day. (Extend spell feat) I still only have a masterwork bow at 11th level, I just cast gravity bow and greater magic weapon and keen on it. Magical knack is a nice trait to take. Anyhow have fun, I'm having fun playing my "Arcane Archer" eldrich knight. |
