A terrific conclusion to the Gloomspires story, definitely a must-play. The content is certainly epic, like, movie epic in challenge and the end encounter will not disappoint.
The only concern I had is when ran in upper tier, do plan for a bit more time than a 4 to 5 hour slot because it has the capacity to run long. But the challenge just adds to the gravity and fun of this story.
This collection of new hybrid Pathfinder classes definitely wowed me, I enjoy the concept of hybrid classes and I love having more choices to pick from when a character idea hits me. The two that stand out as my top favorites are definitely the Librarian and the Bullet Disciple. The occultist/bard is a concept that just screamed to be made, a spooky knowledge expert. But the one I wasn't expecting to like so much, the combination I never thought of putting together was the gunslinger/monk Bullet Disciple. After reading it, this character idea of a disillusioned aristocrat who takes to travelling and falls in with an order of monks who open his eyes to seeking inner balance and now walks the world striving for such while packing his devastating boom-stick at his side. As new inspirations for Pathfinder character ideas pop up, I gladly add these to my line up of class choices.
Since this scenario was to feature the return of a fan-favorite NPC, I had a lot high expectations when playing it and placed a huge amount of scrutiny on it when I got to the table on game day. Not only did it not disappoint, it exceeded my lofty expectations. If you have a liking for the aforementioned NPC, be assured that character is well represented in this scenario. As for the rest of the adventure, you're in store for clever and creepy challenges that are very well-suited for the setting it takes place in.
