Did you find the game easier to follow with the mechanics in spoilers? In general, I'm in favor of rolls and mechanics in spoilers. I've began to use them in games I run, but haven't required my players to use them.
I walk in the room and look around [dice=Perception... To me that doesn't really need a spoiler. I understand from an ascetic standpoint wanting to hide the rolls, but to me the rolls are part of the focus and flow of the game so it seems natural to just see that roll at that point. All that said I'm fine with using them all the time too. Did marking movement with arrows help during combat? I think it's mostly beneficial for the GM, and helps when there are traps like in the kolbold encounter or trying to determine if AOOs occur. In general I'm in favor, but all those line can get confusing and it's easy to accidentally move other players lines, sure their is undo, but it can get frustrating.

She looks a little longer, Hum, I'm no expert on Ardon but these parables are slightly different than those that appear in the known version of the History and Future of Humanity, suggesting that these might represent an earlier version of the work or may an altered one? I think that even though Aroden disappeared over a century ago, these caves might store a hint of his divine magic (like a wand with a single charge left) that can impart a minor blessing to those who perform a short series of rituals based on the parables described here. For example, look here everybody, the Thief is depicted stealing a gem from a shop while whispering a prayer, an allusion to a passage saying that larceny--though illegal--is a from of praise, for anything worth stealing is also worthy of praise for its craftsmanship. Iuni is ready to fight the minotaur and takes a step to follow Janira, but then sees all the rest retreating into the cave and reluctantly follows them in. We could have taken that down together! Iuni exclaims. Sarenrae protect our sister as she flees from that terrible beast, make her feet fleet and shine your light to guide her path. Iuni stops to offer prayers to the Dawnflower. As she concludes her prayers the others are inspecting Janira's gear. Forvenniel having already laid claim to the healing wand, I could use that too, but I can heal from the Dawnflower's power! So best to spread it around. When someone mentions a Wand of Burning Hands, a smile crosses her face. Did someone say there's a fire stick! She picks it up and studies it, forgetting about all the rest of the gear at that point. The only thing Iuni wants is the wand; I don't think anyone can cast Mage Armor, bard can cast Identify.

How can I do anything but through faith that the Dawnflower will protect me, I think she doesn't understand how much the gods guide everything we do, even Desna, that lets luck play a part. She keeps her comments to herself, preferring to discuss the things of greater importance in life in more quiet, one-on-one times. So scared and ashamed she ran away into the desert for a couple of days. When she realized, she would not be able to survive the harsh terrain much longer she returned to face her doom. When she arrived at the keep, she found no one alive, it seems a nearby nomadic horse tribe hear of the death of the lord and took advantage of the situation by sacking the keep; taking any survivors along as slaves for themselves. She spent several months making due alone in the ruin of the keep when a traveling cleric of Sarenrae, happened upon the ruin, Zeshkitan Pllumm, also a Pathfinder, found the now half-wild child, and began to show her the way of the Dawnflower. • Why did you join the Society?
• What is your life like outside of adventuring? Iuni has a passion proselytizing to anyone that will hear, loud and pushy would best describe her approach, she rarely takes a break from this calling even when not on an official mission from the PFS. • List two prejudices that you have. Iuni has a disdain for slavers naturally. But also has little tolerance for anyone who runs away from danger, at times driving her to reckless behavior. • Describe a memory that you still regret. Iuni has never regret killing the slaver lord, but regrets the outcome that came from it; and also deeply regrets running away. She somehow feels like if she had stayed it would have all been okay. • Tell two stories about people you have wronged in the past, but in one of them you thought you were in the right. Well one was the slaver lord, obviously killing him was wrong, but he was so cruel and dreadful that he deserved it. The other is her former mentor Pllumm, over the years all he had seen had lead him to take up the drink, and as the years went on he only increased his drinking until he basically did nothing but get drunk and wallow in misery; seeming to have lost the hope of the Dawnflower. Iuni had joined the PFS by now, and although she feels she should have done more to help the man that gave her so much; she abandoned him. She feels the guilt of it everyday. Overall, Iuni is a zealot for Sarenrae; but her ifrit nature causes her to be unpredictable at times. Her faith in the Dawnflower is demonstrated in her flowers, even if her action are sometimes contrary to the teaching she whole-heartily believes in.
