"Well, to be honest, we're working with both of them. Just be happy I'm keeping them out of the sort of trouble you'd have to deal with."

"Whoa, everyone calm down! He's with us, Dusk, at least assuming he stays out of trouble."

Issak leads the group up to the meeting room. "Hey, Dusk, we're trying to track down Shalelu--any idea where she is?"

Adjustments:
+12 hit points (d10 class, +1 Con, +1 favored class)
+1 BAB, +1 Reflex and Will
Steadfast Pike: +1 attack on readied attacks and attacks of opportunity with spears and polearms.
+1 skill rank in: Knowledge: local, Perception
Feat: Weapon Focus

Issak is clearly irritated as he says, "Just let us in or tell us where to find Shalelu, Scarnetti. We don't have time for you to play games."

Issak shrugs. "He'll find his way back to us in time. Let's not let it delay us."

"Though you certainly manage to cause enough trouble when you are spotted." Issak replies, but in a friendly tone.

Inquisitor looks best to me as well.

I hope everything's okay, and thanks for the heads up.

Nothing bad--annual family fishing trip.

I'm going to be out of town through Monday; Black Fang, please GMPC Issak as necessary.

AoO
Glaive to hit 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
damage 1d10 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14

Not sure on my spacial relation to the creature; first roll is if I can use reach, second roll is without reach.

Glaive to hit 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
damage 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15

Glaive to hit 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
damage 1d10 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12

Fortitude 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15

Five characters should be sufficient...I wouldn't be opposed to us recruiting one more though.

"Onward!"

Issak takes the ranseur and performs several simple swings and thrusts. He then states, "It's a fine weapon, but I think I prefer my trusty glaive. I'll bring it along though--I'd guess we could sell this for a pretty penny back in town."

Perception 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18

"Now that you mention it...I think it has. Strange."

"Yes, I remember where he lives. Whenever everyone is ready."

"Yes, we'd best stay with them...though I have a bad feeling about this."

"I am wounded as well; a temporary retreat would be wise."

Issak goes still for a moment, waiting for an opening; seeing one, he quickly thrusts with his glaive, impaling the resilient goblin creature.

Glaive to hit 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
damage 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12

Issak picks up his glaive, steps over Calathes' unconscious body, and strikes again at the goblin creature.

Glaive to hit 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
damage 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10

Issak drops his glaive and pulls a small vial out of a belt pouch. Unscrewing the cap, he carefully pours the liquid into Calathes' mouth.

potion of cure light; 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 well isn't that wonderful.

Issak moves up behind Calathes and strikes past him.

Glaive to hit 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
damage 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10

Yes, onward!

Issak moves ten feet to the right, flanking one of the creatures from above.

Glaive to hit 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
damage 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13

Issak readies an action to stab downwards at the first creature to move out from under the platform.

Glaive to hit 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18 Includes +1 for higher ground
damage 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17

Issak moves to the edge of the platform, planning to stab anything that moves below.

Issak moves up, taking his usual position behind Jaxom.

Left without a target, Issak goes still, listening for any hint of the creature's movement.

Perception 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13

"Perfect, that will give me ample time to skewer it properly."

Attack of opportunity on the eagle.
Glaive to hit 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
damage 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16
I'm guessing that kills the eagle before it gets its attack, yes?

Issak aims upward and does his best to impale the troublesome flying creature.

Glaive to hit 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
damage 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14
Crit confirm:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
Crit damage:1d10 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12

Issak attempts to skewer the creature, fearing for Jaxom's life.

Glaive to hit 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
damage 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16

Just got mixed up about which icons were what. Now that I have it straight--Issak spends his first turn moving into the room.

Coming around the south side of the pool, Issak attacks the wrathspawn.

Glaive to hit 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
damage 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15

Sorry, I seem to have misinterpreted the map--Issak attacks the closest target, whatever that is.

Issak moves forward and takes a swing at the flying creature.

Glaive to hit 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
damage 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19

Reflex save 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Issak moves up to the door and tries it. If it doesn't open immediately, he'll try and force it.

Strength check 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

I hate paperwork. Issak thinks to himself as he heads over to the Sheriff's office to make his report.

He writes that upon returning to the Rusty Dragon, the group discovered that Ameiko had been missing for several hours, quite strange for how busy the place was. Asking around, they found that she'd headed for the Glassworks, so they went to find her and instead found the place overrun with goblins. Issak notes that the sudden appearance of these goblins was quite odd, as the town had fairly well settled down from the attack by then. Within the Glassworks, the group found the body of Lonjiku Kaijitsu, gruesomely encased in glass; seemed unusually devious for goblins. The group found fresh human footprints in tunnels below the Glassworks, but were unable to track anyone down. Also in the basement, Ameiko was located, gravely wounded; she appears to have been lured there and then attacked. Further details may be forthcoming with continued investigation.

That done, he retires to his room in town to wash up and tend to his gear.

"What in the Nine is that?" Issak exclaims as the creature charges. He follows up Jaxom's one-two strike with a quick thrust.

Glaive to hit 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
damage 1d10 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15

"Do you hear that? From behind us."

Issak follows close behind Jaxom, glaive at the ready.

Issak will take position near the front, preferably in a second row.

"Dusk! There's a strange tunnel we'd like to check out in the basement. You have everything under control up here?"

"Only the dead goblins, Dusk. Unfortunately, we showed up too late to prevent the disaster you see here--the entire place is in ruins, and they killed everyone...including Lonjiko. Encased him in molten glass...sadistic little bastards. We just finished checking the rest of the building--this seems to have been the last of them."

"We'll need to check the rest of the building...maybe ask around town regarding Tsuto--it's possible someone saw him around earlier."

"Wait...I heard something." Issak moves to the other doors and opens it.

"Aye." Issak peers around the corner.

Perception 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20

Issak cringes as the impact of Jaxom's shield rings through the building. "So much for any element of surprise. Let's get down there!" Glaive readied, he follows close behind Jaxom.

"I'm pretty sure that was Lonjiko--Ameiko's father." Issak says while carefully stepping around the glass and goo. "We should find her as quickly as possible...something is very wrong here."
