Isonda casts a defensive spell and moves to be ready to react to the next combatant.

A little Barkskin to help defend her.

Isonda moves the long way around Kallyan to avoid the pit and strikes out at the monk with her halfling sized greatsword.

Isonda urges her mount forwards as she casts a spell to help guide her strikes.

"Sorry Shel i'm afraid i'm no good at things like that."

Divine Favor. There is nothing Isonda can do to remove whatever is protecting the monk.

Feeling a little hard done to here. 30 damage taken on a sunday where i was Gming for my local lodge all day. I go to post my back-off and heal action only to find that we're in another fight and it is no longer my turn...

OK i'm lost. Did the last encounter just end abruptly? Did Isonda take 30 damage from the elemental creatures? Please let me know so I have all the info when Isonda's turn comes around. Thanks GM.

"I'm always happy to help heal when needed Sarnoc."

As the group start to head down the corridor Isonda is surprised to be stopped by Shel.

"Again, you save me from making a fool of myself Shel!"

Isonda pauses as she hears the gong ring.

"Did we win? That sure sounds like we won!"

I was waiting to see what everyone else did to see if Isonda should continue to fight.I guess she readies an attack for if the Oni keeps fighting.

Sorry, i was just trying to make your life easier by stating i'd applied it in Isonda and Scratchings' attacks so you don't have to. If you preer i don't do that i'm happy to comply.

I placed Isonda on Scratchings as she always rides him around unless utterly necessary.

Seeing a clear line to the strange creature, Isonda spurs Scratchings to charge!

This sounds like a job for the one and only Kallyan! I guess we play keep away with our new judge while Kallyan does a gong solo ;)

Isonda will also volunteer to help spread the cost of curing Sarnoc's blindness.

It's one that seems to crop up from time to time so i may well pick up Remove Blindness at some point in the future.

"I don't usually wear black, but if those are the rules then i guess i can make an exception."

Isonda heads backstage and changes back into her armour then checks on Scratchings.

"I'm sorry you missed out on a fight, but those tusks of yours tend to cut people up and we didn't want that. But you were a good boy back here so i think you earned a treat later."

Scratchings gives a happy snort as Isonda gets back in the saddle and gets ready to leave.

Isonda continues to attack the Aspis Bandit as she does her best to make the fight look like a spectacle.

Ok Isonda is update under 'Current Conditions'. The Barkskin and armour change just change her flat footed and touch a bit but not much else.

Isonda cast Barkskin on herself and Vrald before the 'performance'.

I really need to adjust her AC though as I've not changed it for the costume armour she's wearing.

GM - please apply +2 favored enemy bonus to hit and damage if the target of Isonda's attack is human. Are all the aspis agents human?

Isonda resists the slowing spell of the Aspis spellcaster. She strikes out with a powerfull blow at the aspis agent in the bandit costumer.

"You bandits are no match for the great and powerfull Warrior Woman!" says Isonda with a slight giggle, it's clear she's enjoying this a bit too much.

I was hoping to get away with just using Scratchings as a mount, but it doesn't look like there is a way to stop the 'defend' trick even with a command.

Just to make life easier Isonda will leave her mount behind off stage. I wouldn't want to risk accidental lethal damage.

Your health is important, so take a break and come back when you're feeling better :)

I appologise for not being around to post but i had a very busy weekend. Isonda will accept any buffs she's offered, thank you Ajax.

Isonda gets her new armour on and casts spells to toughen the skin of herself and Vrald.

"OK Scratchings, you be good and don't go biting anyone while we do this performance. If you do you get a nice treat later.

I'll take my piggy to just ride around on - thanks for checking up on that for use GM.

"I somehow knew we wouldn't get to take in a performance when we came here."

Isonda seems disappointed, but that quickly changes when she sees the costumes on offer. She's especially interested in The Warrior Woman costume.

"Ooooh look at all those lovely pretty feathers on that armour! I would love to wear that!"

Would pre-fight spells be allowed for roles that aren't permitted to cast spells during the performance? Specifically i was thinking of doing a couple of castings of Barkskin to help beef up The Warrior Woman and The General.

"I'll happily share what healing spells i have to get everyone back to fighting strength." she says while averting her eyes from Vrald's naked form as he retreats to his room.

"I hope the rest of the night is quieter, i'm certainly in need of a bath and a good nights sleep right about now!"

Isonda has a bunch of healing spells and she is happy to use them all up as needed.

Isonda grabs her sword and tries to make a quick jump on to scratching's bare back.

ride check, quick mount DC20: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (4) + 13 = 17 Failed - so that's a move action rather than a free action :(

Unfortunately she catches her foot on the bed and the jump turns into more of a climb. She gives Scratchings a slight tap to the flanks to instruct him to attack the assassin.

Isonda would also be unarmoured as she can't sleep in her mountain pattern, that would seriously be uncomfortable i think! So her AC will be 14 for now. Scratchings would also have had his saddle and barding removed as again i think that wouldn't be comfortable. His AC would now be 21.

Isonda gets up from her rest as the enemies make their surprise attack, she looks at her sword then down at her unarmoured form and decides that defense would best right now. She takes a moment to cast a defensive spell on herself.

Shield of Faith for +3 deflection bonus to AC. AC is now 17.

Scratchings follows Isonda guarding her from enemies.

"Normally i would put scratchings in the stables for the night, but i think it may be safer to keep him around while we have the vase and those tickets on us. Don't worry though everyone, he'll tell me if he needs to go do his business and i'll take him outside. I'm looking forward to visiting the opera tomorrow, it's a big improvement on taking a trip down the sewers that's for sure!"

Isonda joins in with the others in checking the palce is safe, though with her lack of focus he role is mostly one of being there just for moral support.

"Ha ha ha ha" Isonda finds the whole situation discussing admirers while smelling of sewers quite comical. "I think it's just a way of winding down after having a stresseful day, but i think we should stick to the larger passgeways just to be safe though Shel!" she says to Shel with a wink.

"Maybe some of the challenge is making sure the vase doesn't get damaged. Looking after a delicate item in a tough situation sounds like a challenge to me."

"See that wasn't so bad everyone, sure it was a bit smelly but atleast we didn't have to spend long down there! Let's go get cleaned up and have a rest so we're fresh and ready for the next challenge!" Isonda's optimism is quite infectious. She always seems to put a bright spin on every situation.

I hope i'm never on the receiving end of a dicing like THAT! Isonda ponders to herself as she observes Shel's handiwork.

When she gets over the shock Isonda heads over to Kallyan to check he's OK.

"Oh Kallyan they made a mess of your lovely outfit. Atleast with magical healing there should be next to no scars though."

Wow i missed a lot of posts with going to bed early and having an early shift at work! I'll do a post now for when it's Isonda's turn as i have guests coming round quite soon and i don't want to hold things up.

I always log in to a load of posts to read. I guess it's the time zone difference with me being in England. If i'm ever holding things up please feel free to bot me. Isonda isn't too complicated.

Isonda follows the trackers in the group as they lead the way through the smelly sewers. She has to keep careful control of Scratchings as he seems to dislike the smell.

"My senses aren't the best so i'm glad we have someone more observant in front, Shel."

With her mounted speed being quite quick feel free to place Isonda anywhere you like in the marching order, she'll get where she needs to be fast enough.

Charge lane looks OK to me so i'll treat this as a charge.

Isonda hears Ajax call out then spurs Scratchings to charge the latest enemy.

"I'll do what I can Ajax!" she yells as she charges past the back of Vrald.

"I can heal you massive Vrald!" says Isonda as she pats his leg and heals his wounds.

She then guides Scratchings to the edge of the area ready for whatever comes next.

Isonda kicks Scratchings' flank lightly and urges him to charge the naga, her greatsword ready to strike the creature with a powerful blow.

Isonda dodges most of the lightning, but only because Scratchings takes the main force of the bolt.

She calls on her healing magic mend his wounds as she guides the injured pig to circle round the large creature ready to charge.

perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11 Nope - i'm glad you lot are here or Isonda would never see a thing!

Isonda wakes up and leaves her room to look for the others. She's late but she certainly slept well. She heads to the stabling area where Scratchings spent the night and fusses over him while she gets his armour and riding gear back in place.

Once finished she goes to find the others to see what the day has in store for them.

"Of course i can Sarnoc. I was just about to ask if anyone wounded. I know you took a hit too Shel, so i'll fix you both up good as new so we're ready for whatever come next."

CLW for Shel: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

CMW for Sarnoc: 2d8 + 6 ⇒ (2, 3) + 6 = 11

"Now don't anyone be shy about asking for help. My spells are here to help and we are a team after all!" says Isonda with a cheerful smile on her face.

"That goes for you too piggyface!" she says as she tussles Scratchings' furry neck.

I don't think anyone else got hurt but Isonda will make a point of looking anyway.

Isond moves Scratchings the long way round to surround the man. She urges the boar to gore the man while she tries he best to equal Vrald's strike.

"These are our gems now, go get your own!" shouts Isonda angrily.

"Do you think we have enough gems? If so then we need get out before we get ganged up on. Teleportation magic sounds like a great exscape route to me!"

"Well that wasn't very nice!" says Isonda, although she's barely heard over the din.

Isonda calls on her divine powers to help guide her strikes in the coming battle (Casts Divine Favor) then guides Scratchings towards the nearest masked enemy.

Isonda tends to ride around on Scratchings. I'm happy to go with whatever option you prefer. I tend to have the higher roll delay until the lower roll if rolled separately just to make my life easier :)

Isonda looks around as best she can but is hindered by her short stature.

"...oooh is that one over there!"

Isonda stands up from her small folding chair and claps loudly for the entertainer. She's a youngish looking halfling with long blond hair tied back and kept tidy with a large ribbon. She stands favoring her right leg and comfortably wears some rather heavy looking armour made from steel plates in a style that screams Tian Xia.

"Oooh i didn't know i'd be adventuring with somebody famous! This will be even more exciting now." she distractedly claps just long enough for everyone else to notice her before realizing she's the center of attention.

"I'm afraid i don't have a companion who can announce me, he usually just goes 'OINK' and snuffles the around... My name is Isonda. I guess i'm a bit of a knight, and a healer, and a conduit for natural magics..." she pauses and thinks for a second before continuing.

"Hmm this is where things get complicated. I don't know where my power comes from really, but I use my gifts to help others as much as I can. I also like to travel, although that World Wound place was pretty awful and i didn't like it all." she gets a little lost in thought again before realizing everyone is still looking at her.

"Me and Scratchings are ready to go when all of you are though! Huzzah!"

And with that she awkwardly takes her seat again while rubbing her sore leg to get the feeling back.

OK then. Torith vanishing tricks away and is replaced by my Oracle.

If your character were a pie, what type of pie would they be? Isonda would be an individual banoffee pie with some of that squirty canned cream on top.

Isonda has a boar animal companion called Scratchings.

Thay also both need to level up as they only just got to level 7.
