The sewage drains, exposing another shaft at the bottom, which you are easily able to climb down using the sturdy stone handholds built-in. Holes in the floor connect to 6-inch-diameter, grate-covered runoff pipes that drop into darkness. Eventually, you reach a flight of stairs that leads to small, elevated chamber that serves as a dry room — a safe haven for sewer workers in times of flash-flooding.
You see two ways to go from here: Down another narrow flight of stairs, or into a small passageway leading to a much larger room filled with a maze of sewage troughs.

I'll say you're going that way.
The pipe leads to the room you saw past the earlier passage. Just south of the center of the room (near you), a small iron cage hangs from the ceiling, suspended 8 feet above the level of the floor. Within the cage is the vase you seek. Yes, the Celebrity Bard Fascinate is absurdly good. Well, Fascinate doesn't work on several instances (undead, constructs, vermin, plants, etc.) but when it does work, it's devastating. This is called "Shining Star" and the Celebrities just get it by level 8, though:
Shining Star (Su)
At 8th level, the celebrity has learned how to focus attention on himself so thoroughly that even the presence of danger does not distract his adoring crowd. When using fascinate, a target making a save to break the effect because of a potential threat takes a –4 penalty on that save, and even obvious threats require a save rather than automatically breaking the effect. Creatures affected by the bard’s fascinate ability ignore the shaken condition.
This ability replaces dirge of doom.
Celebrity Bards, however, lose the signature "Inspire Courage" performance, so I basically sucked for 7 levels. Actually, for 6 levels, since I purchased the poet's cloak at level 6 and became a little more useful. Before that, I was reduced to being a bad spellcaster with buffs and a lot of drama.
On my regular/table game, I had a celebrity as well, but with much better gear and stats. The GM never hated more a character, to the point we almost started blocking the archetype as we usually block the synthesist summoner and the beastbonded witch.

If you are actually in combat, as opposed to having someone nearby in combat, I don't think it should count myself. That still makes it awesome, in that you can (with care and good initiative) peel off one combatant at a time, but slightly less all-powerful.
Losing inspire courage does hurt a lot though
