Thought it was 10 + level of spell and spell bonus (Chrisma for Idril +4). If SR is only 10 + spell level flaming sphere is a complete waste. SR 12 and then nothing. Unless a tiger beast rolls a one all that happens is a tiny ball of fire. Great if I am a character who wishes to be an arsonist. Is it possible during a fight to use a second level spell,( i.e. flamingsphere) and use magic missle instead? Give up second to get first?
