I wasn't sure what Hal was really able to do, so I've been waiting to try and see. Do I make grapple checks against the items, try to catch them, what checks should I make to try to run down and catch one?

I don't know if only whoever had the map would be able to look at it, and if so then please feel free to disregard me, but it seems like the leftmost peninsula would have been the most defensible, so Hal would probably have suggested that we land there and work inwards.

The fact that you believed that she intends to strangle you with your own intestines only proves that you are too enraged to think clearly. Take a walk around the ship and cool off, then come back and discuss this when you're less angry. You have no unilateral right to evict crew members from this ship, and so I'd recommend that we wait until both you and Tessara have calmed down so you can work this out.

Look, as the other captain of the ship, Hal will consider it his duty to protect his crew. As a person, he will protect the one that he sees as the one being attacked. Because Freyja switched from words to physical attacks, even if she didn't do any actual damage, he would protect Tessara from Freyja. With that said, I certainly hope that you guys can come to a peaceful conclusion here, rather than play two characters that absolutely hate each other, because it's rather clear that there are personal feelings getting involved, and that kind of detracts from the game.

I understand that your pride is at stake, but that's no excuse to attack a crew member under any circumstance. Perhaps her words were unacceptable, and some of what she said was definitely disagreeable, but you have no reason to translate that into physical assault.

Tessara, I would go below until tensions have cooled. I'll fetch you as soon as something of note happens.

Hal frowns I had no intention of being condescending, I was merely attempting to avoid an argument, I apologize if my words were misinterpreted. I'm inclined to agree with you on the topic of selling things, as that is what pirates do, but we should bear in mind that items that are obviously evil will probably not sell all that well in town, and will give us a bad reputation.
