So, loot.

We need an agreement of division of said loot and someone to track it. Did we have a volunteer? I have forgotten. Its relative value will be partly determined by how easily we can sell it and what percent of its value it will bring. And what we can purchase with the coin we gain of course.

One important question is - Are these weapons and armors all of medium size? the crew was small, after all.

The Healing items can go to the Medical room for common use. So I think they should not be a part of what the rest of us divvy up.

I say let sell what nobody wants or could use adn then divide the money equally among us.

But I see no reason to be overzealus with the loot, if there is ccool/powerful item that would increase the power of one of use I see no reason to sell it.

Well we have the nice google doc where we can put all the loot in. Could put up a new tab for everything we plan on selling and put all the rest in the rooms they "belong", like medical supplies in the medical room like Eleanis mentioned and weapons/armor in the armory, etc...

I think it is indeed best people pick items from the loot they would benefit from (better weapon/better armor/...) and the rest goes into a sort of "group pot" (after we find a place to sell the items at), which can then be used for upgrades of existing equipment or other items that we think can improve one or more people in our group.

As a player it was pretty hard to not take the wisdom+2 band. That would have been great.

It was also hard for me as a character. I only backed down so as to not start an in-party fight, even if that was a bit meta.

As a player, I agree. No reason to bury treasure. :)

But the GM has stated he already plans to be generous. And the players started with a good amount of wealth, so I can live without claiming that loot for the party. but just barely. :)

If the now is small Xyla should take it. If medium then Freyja. That makes sense to me.

If its large, then iirc Xyla can not use it (two sizes to big) and Freyja will take a minus to hit with it.

Is there a rule that explicitly states that only large humanoid creatures can use large weapons without a penalty? Also: Do you let horses wield weapons?

Lol if anything can pick a weapon up it can use it. How good can something use it is the question. just pictured the horse trying to Shoot the bow lol.

From PFSRD

Inappropriately Sized Weapons: A creature can't make optimum use of a weapon that isn't properly sized for it. A cumulative –2 penalty applies on attack rolls for each size category of difference between the size of its intended wielder and the size of its actual wielder. If the creature isn't proficient with the weapon, a –4 nonproficiency penalty also applies.

If the swearing bothers anyone, tell me and I'll stop. I'm trying not to use a lot, but Tessara is obviously very upset. But I don't think she's the kind of person who just throws around profanities, instead using them only when she's upset to supplement her long rants. Still, if someone (i.e. not Paizo) has a problem, I'll stop.

I have not yet seen any actual cursing. Now a blow has been struck, albeit non-lethally. Freyja is obviously very angry herself and is not going to back down. Is there anything anyone can do to calm this situation? Note that her anger is from Tessara insults and her obvious attempts to drive a wedge between her and Hal.

It's a 3pp spell that has some pretty dangerous limitations if used incorrectly. IIRC, GM said it's fine. Luckily, I am not using it incorrectly and will not die.

But yeah, I think I get a class ability teleport at level 8, which is pretty limited but at least it can't kill me if I'm blind.

Also, does Calm Emotion even work on PCs? Like, free will and all that? GM, what do you say? And if so, does being attacked break the spell, or after I'm knocked out will I have to kill Eleanis as well?

And I didn't do anything after casting the spell, so it doesn't matter if my turn ended.

I'm pretty sure that we're way beyond what should be happening between PCs at this point anyway. Hope everyone is enjoying their popcorn. It's just stressful to me IC and OOC.

You're stressed? I got nearly half my HP knocked out of me! :P But yeah, Freyja (not Freyja's player) took this way too far. Even after I tried to walk away TWICE! Remember that. The CN trickster who tried to steal an island and threatened to rip out Freyja's intestines tried to walk away. But the NG captain tried to kill me. Are we reversing alignments or something? Just keep that in mind while in character. Oh, but don't kill Freyja unless you have to. That's mean.

I see you try to twist things in both gameplay and discussion Tessara. Freyja is never going to be ok with you insulting her. And now you are threatening to kill her and torment her family. Those things have real meaning. You do not get to do them and walk away. Not from me at least.

Also note that you have not taken any actual damage yet. So its at best unreasonable, and more honestly an untruth to say that Freyja has tried to kill you. But you are good at untruths.

So we have an impasse. At he moment Freyja, captain or not, will fight until you are unconscious, or she is. After that I do not know how we exist together. There is no way in the hells that I am going to play nice with a character, or player, that intentionally insults me. Freyja, being good, gave you a chance to recant. You chose not to.

At this point I'll wait to see who else might come into this, including our GM.

BTW, I never tried to drive any wedges between anyone. But I seriously tried to walk away twice! Again, this isn't personal, but Freyja is attacking someone who had no interest in fighting. Sure, I threatened her, but only AFTER I was hit. Not even right after I was tripped. I let that one slide. I insult you, you trip me. Even, right? Until you try knocking the s%+* out of me. THEN, after I try walking away, get tripped, try walking away, and take non-lethal damage do I threaten you. Yes, I threatened you AFTER you attacked me. The after part matters a lot there as I was physically assaulted before I even threatened you.

And to Tessara, once you dealt damage, non-lethal or otherwise, it's trying to kill me, because I wasn't being violent. You weren't doing it in self-defense. You were doing it because I hurt your feelings and didn't feel like fighting, even after you tripped me. Nice to know you'll only fight me until I'm knocked out though, because once I wake up I can murder your ass without mercy. And again, good characters don't attack people who try to walk away, even if they do insult them.

Hmm, actually, I suppose that "I have five summoning spells" comment could be taken as a threat, but I did say that I'd rather not fight and suggested I assumed it was a bluff, which would indicate that the comment wasn't an actual threat. But even then, that only came after you pulled out your sword. Oh hey, look at that, I'm actually upset :P

Look, as the other captain of the ship, Hal will consider it his duty to protect his crew. As a person, he will protect the one that he sees as the one being attacked. Because Freyja switched from words to physical attacks, even if she didn't do any actual damage, he would protect Tessara from Freyja. With that said, I certainly hope that you guys can come to a peaceful conclusion here, rather than play two characters that absolutely hate each other, because it's rather clear that there are personal feelings getting involved, and that kind of detracts from the game.

So, I was hoping someone would intervene. But now we have one person who wants to duel to settle an insult and another who has announced their plan to commit murder. Path forward?

I could go back and count the words thrown at Freyja to insult and humiliate her. I suspect we are at 5+. Tessara , I do think you are goading Freyja. Perhaps you are goading everyone and I am reacting to you the most.
