She disappears as quickly as she appeared.

She then nocks an arrow and looses it at Aslynn.

Hadega draws her bow and directs Higgins to attack the creature nearest the others.

She huffs out a sigh, weariness creeping into her bones. But she catches herself and immediately corrects her posture. She jabs a crinkled finger toward Aslynn. "You there, even a hag should mind her MANNERS! Everyone, correct her transgression. Pincer Attack!"

Hadega takes one of the healing potions and drinks it slowly. Then she'll take a few bandages out of her healer's toolkit and patch Higgins's wounds.

She admonishes the bird with every bandage applied.

Hadega says, "A pleasure to meet you sir Biglock. To think we are dealing with only a portion of Aslynn's mind here is quite frightening, but anxiety is entirely undignified so we will not be focusing on that today!"

She turns to the others. "Unless anyone has objections, Kesha may be best suited to carry a key from another world, and Skilgrim could wield the dagger. But I am certainly open to other suggestions."

Yeah it's definitely a lot, but I'd rather run something I really feel passionate about for my first go round. I'm glad I'm doing it on PBP though. In person would be hectic!

Hadega gives a slight nod. "I suppose it is proper etiquette to give travelers and those in need our aid, but I warn you that we will not abide threatening our host's domain, as it were, if you are some foul creature!"

She votes to help in her...way.

Oh absolutely, that looks like one of the fun parts, that and the friendly NPC personalities!

A single eyebrow crinkles upward as Hadega surveys the wreckage of the rat swarm. "Vermithor, that will do just fine young man. Well done Pathfinders."

The eyebrow raises quizzically again upon witnessing the disembodied gloves and voice. Hadega says to the voice, "How do we know you're not some foul creature wishing to be set loose upon this place? No offense to you good sir, or Sir Glovely here, but I've had just about enough magical jiggery pokery for today. What is your name and station?"

If she gets a satisfactory answer, she'll vote to help clear the boxes.

Hadega's grimace deepens. "You see, this is precisely why you don't leave food under the table after your dinner party. Higgins, get the filthy rats!"

Then she snaps her gaze to Duncan. "Duncan, keep that back straight and STRIKE HARD!"

Calling back on her studies on the Arcane, Hadega begins to speak an incantation known to many practitioners to trap ethereal creatures or images such as this.

At seeing the party's numerous finds, the corner of Hadega's mouth turns upward in a slight--if momentary--grin. She tries to conceal this smile, horribly! Deception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7 Her lips return to their pinched appearance as she watches the party report their findings to Rain.

Hadega says, "A good day's work so far, everyone. I daresay we have met expectations, but don't lapse in your posture, we must be ready for anything!"

At the battle's conclusion, Hadega chides her animal companion, "Higgins! You will wait your turn when told to do so! Apologize to Vermithor at once!" And the young hawk totters over and gives a high-pitched screech looking up at the rage dragon.

As Vermithor runs off, Hadega pinches the bridge of her nose with thumb and index finger. "The dear boy has the manners of a Morlock. Stop that running this instant!"

Hadega thinks, once Rain's instructions are finished, Perhaps inspecting blades will calm these old nerves.

While she works, she also affixes the brooch of shielding around her neck.

Hadega jabs a finger toward the last shadow creature. "Vermithor, it is entirely improper to keep our guest waiting. There must be no dilly-dally nor shilly-shally! Strike at once!"

Then she directs Higgins to clean up any mess that Vermithor creates.

Higgins lashes out with beak and talon if there's anything left of the shadow creature (or maybe just kills it by being impatient!).

Hadega gawps at the creature appearing next to her. "Entirely unacceptable, ambushing a peaceful gathering, really I never!"

She calls out to the party, "Step carefully now everyone, BACKS STRAIGHT, and show these creatures how civilized people Cooperate!" Then she steps back away from the creature and calls out to her hawk companion, "Higgins, show this creature the cost of impropriety!" And at the word impropriety, Higgins flies at the creature, biting and pecking.

Lastly, Hadega nocks an arrow with a deepening grimace and fires at the creature.

No idea! This is my first time playing one so still getting the hang of it. Hadega was originally a bard, but after coming back to PF after a hiatus, and seeing the Commander class, it just looked like such a perfect fit for her that I couldn't resist.

Hadega's lip curls downward at the intrusion of raised voices. She says, "Very gracious, Master Zykyryz. Thank you."

She strides past the desk and draws out her shortbow, searching for danger. "Everyone to me! Our host is in danger, and it is entirely proper to RUN now Vermithor when our a host requires aid!"

Actions:

◆ Draw shortbow with banner attached.
◆ Use tactic: Gather To Me! All squadmates can use a reaction to stride as close to Hadega's banner as possible.

If anyone needs an extra reaction, Hadega can give out a free reaction to anyone benefiting from her tactic.

Also, remember if within 30 ft. of Hadega, her Banner ability applies +1 status bonus to saves and DCs against fear effects.

Before, Hadega turns her gaze upon Valereon at his introduction gives another curt nod. "There's a good lad, it seems someone has a proper upbringing!"

Later, after the squad has begun their individual activities, Hadega peers at the skull, grimace deepening, and removes the cloth. "Master skull, it is quite uncouth not to introduce oneself!"

Then she whirls around and jabs the air with an index finger, sweeping it across her field of vision and encompassing the group's activities with the motion. "And let this be a reminder everyone, keep your BACKS STRAIGHT while we undertake these endeavors. Kesha mind those weapons! Vermithor we do not run when we could walk, propriety in all things!"

She turns her attention back to the skull, trying to discern its origin.

An older Taldan woman with harsh, angular facial features and impeccable posture gives a curt nod. Her mouth seems to always be curled into a grimace, like a strict schoolmaster grading every motion or word. A young hawk accompanies the woman, and strangely enough its grim countenance only seems to match the woman's, deepening as she speaks.

She says, "Hello and good day to you all. My name is Hadega Scrimsworth." She raises a thin, gnarled index finger. "Mind you I will tolerate only the finest of propriety on Pathfinder Society missions, no higgery jiggery or jiggery pokery on my watch! We will bring manners and civility to this vault!"

Which will pair wonderfully with Hadega.

Sounds like a fun pairing!

Hello, good to meet everyone!

Just FYI, I'm posting in the U.S. Pacific Standard Time, and usually post at night during the weekdays.

Hadega here can sometimes be bossy in her endless quest for perfect posture and manners, so let me know if I need to dial it back anytime. Never want anyone to feel uncomfortable at the table (digital or otherwise)!

Hadega moves up into the fray, drawing out her whip. Her shrill voice raises over the din of battle. ”Good job everyone! Just a bit more to go and we can discover this impropriety’s source! Enrax keep that back straight when you stride!”

He passed away several summers ago, but the lout failed to disclose the many gambling debts on ledgers throughout the city and I had to sell the business off to pay them.”

She lets this ring in the halls for a moment, then starts back up, ”It was always a fond dream of mine to join the Society and bring civility and good manners to the dark catacombs of the world. I do not tolerate slack-jawed unawareness or higgery jiggery in my presence, and all will have straight backs and comport themselves with the highest regard. This past mission the team and I found ourselves amidst a bevvy of conspiracy. Someone was using a poor girl’s hope of joining the Society to their own ends. Awful! She came to us as a spirit, and we were able to untangle some of the plot, but not all of it!”

Hadega bristles. "What manners,to only give us a short amount of time to prepare for a social engagement. Such company demands weeks of preparation and meticulous planning!"

She straightens her posture even more it seems. "Goodness me, well I suppose it isn't to be helped. We'll not be laggards while Hadega Scrimsworth is about, I'll tell you that much!"

Hadega says, You're a Pathfinder dear girl. Explore, report, cooperate. You helped us stop them, and saved many Pathfinders' lives. We'll submit your story to the Chronicles for inclusion."

Hadega says, "Perhaps we an bring Revinus to justice, and that will calm this spirit?"

Is there a knowledge roll that would allow me to know if that would seem a good course of action?

Hadega says, "Why don't we use that scroll, and keep this poor girl alive in the meantime? Azrael, would you be a dear and run for help?"

She also casts Guidance on Luz.

Hadega casts guidance again on Luz. "Help that poor girl so we can leave this dreadful place!"

Hadega casts guidance on anyone Treating Poison. "Hurt her and you'll answer to me!"

Hadega snaps at the spider, "You should be ashamed of yourself! And look at the state of disrepair this manor is in." A loose board flies toward the spider of its own accord, attempting to thwack its head.

"Take note, and always keep your backs straight!"

She also reminds everyone of their posture!

Hadega's eyes go wide as she sees the spider. Her pisture slips for only a moment before she catches herself.

She tries to recall what species of creature this might be. Then she moves in and turns to her companions.

"Goodness, look at that creature! Everyone backs straight! Proper technique now. We will defeat this creature with poise and MANNERS!"
