Hadega begins to comment on form and posture, trying to shake the fatigue from her. She then finds some loose debris and slings it at the last rogue.

Hadega continues to 'encourage' her fellows toward propriety. She then finds a loose piece of rubble and chucks at the spellcaster. "Causing such mayhem and debris, sit down and listen to your betters!"

Hadega shouts above the hum of the orrery, "Strange electrical contraptions or not we will restore this house to ORDER AND MANNERS!"

She mutters a protective incantation and moves in to get a better vantage point.

Hadega follows. "Thieves! Impropriety of the highest order!"

Hadega moves up into the fray, drawing out her whip. Her shrill voice raises over the din of battle. ”Good job everyone! Just a bit more to go and we can discover this impropriety’s source! Enrax keep that back straight when you stride!”

"Indeed! It would quite uncouth for something rightfully purchased to be given away. Such impropriety! Think of what the citizenry would think, if the Church of Iomedae could do it, what of other churches? Is anyone's home or business safe from this if someone thinks it can be put to better use?"

Hadega clears her throat. She says, ”My name is Hadega Scrimsworth. A pleasure to make your acquaintance. My husband was a leatherworker in Absalom, and we ran a business in the city. He passed away several summers ago, but the lout failed to disclose the many gambling debts on ledgers throughout the city and I had to sell the business off to pay them.”

She lets this ring in the halls for a moment, then starts back up, ”It was always a fond dream of mine to join the Society and bring civility and good manners to the dark catacombs of the world. I do not tolerate slack-jawed unawareness or higgery jiggery in my presence, and all will have straight backs and comport themselves with the highest regard. This past mission the team and I found ourselves amidst a bevvy of conspiracy. Someone was using a poor girl’s hope of joining the Society to their own ends. Awful! She came to us as a spirit, and we were able to untangle some of the plot, but not all of it!”

Hadega performs a rigid, perfect bow. "Good day sir. I am Hadega Scrimsworth. And yes, my companions and I would like to inquire on the nature of your opinion in this matter. What could be more legitimate than a purchase made and a cathedral gained? The open market is the very heart of civilation!"

Hadega bristles. "What manners,to only give us a short amount of time to prepare for a social engagement. Such company demands weeks of preparation and meticulous planning!"

She straightens her posture even more it seems. "Goodness me, well I suppose it isn't to be helped. We'll not be laggards while Hadega Scrimsworth is about, I'll tell you that much!"

Hadega says, You're a Pathfinder dear girl. Explore, report, cooperate. You helped us stop them, and saved many Pathfinders' lives. We'll submit your story to the Chronicles for inclusion."

Hadega says, "Perhaps we an bring Revinus to justice, and that will calm this spirit?"

Is there a knowledge roll that would allow me to know if that would seem a good course of action?

Hadega says, "Why don't we use that scroll, and keep this poor girl alive in the meantime? Azrael, would you be a dear and run for help?"

She also casts Guidance on Luz.

Hadega casts guidance again on Luz. "Help that poor girl so we can leave this dreadful place!"

Hadega casts guidance on anyone Treating Poison. "Hurt her and you'll answer to me!"

Hadega snaps at the spider, "You should be ashamed of yourself! And look at the state of disrepair this manor is in." A loose board flies toward the spider of its own accord, attempting to thwack its head.

"Take note, and always keep your backs straight!"

Hadega's bifocals slip down the bridge of her nose. She curls her lip in a frightful mien. "Look at this clumsy brute of a spider, scrabbling about the roof like some horrid thief! It should should be ashamed of itself, eight legs and still it cannot comport itself with civility! It will never be welcome in society."

She also reminds everyone of their posture!

Hadega's eyes go wide as she sees the spider. Her pisture slips for only a moment before she catches herself.

She tries to recall what species of creature this might be. Then she moves in and turns to her companions.

"Goodness, look at that creature! Everyone backs straight! Proper technique now. We will defeat this creature with poise and MANNERS!"

Hadega shifts her weight. She whispers, "Let us find this culprit!"

Hadega moves up after the others, keeping her whip out and ready. She eyes the door and waits for the others to move in.

Hadega eyes the stairs while the others search. "If we do not find any compelling evidence here, there is always up."

Hadega says, "If we have the time, I see no reason not to. I will stay here and mind our rude host."

Hadega gives a sharp nod. "Indeed! Good show Nal! The power of propriety prevails once more."

She turns to the 'merchant'. "It would be safest to leave the area until we can ascertain this man's motives. Enrax can you carry him? We could bring him to the murder site and see if that helps the spirits pass on?"

Hadega continues to scold the others on their form and propriety in the midst of battle.

Seeing the danger of being attacked by the two guards close to her, she snaps out her whip and attempts to trip the black guard again further down the hall. Shen then turns and rushes the other way down the hall, attempting to get some distance.

Would that mean I could use a finesse weapon to trip with dex? I thought this was clarified in errata that attack trait and attack rolls are separate.

Pretty sure inspire courage doesn't boost a trip attack, since it is a skill check, not an attack roll, right?

Whoops sorry about that, she will not Stride. Inspire and ready.

Hadega skirts along the wall into the room with Revinus. She scowls at the scene. "Enrax keep that posture straight when you swing! All of you BACKS STRAIGHT!"

She then keeps an eye out for any guards trying to flank them. If this man is their employer, taking him out will serve to disperse the others.

She readies an attack with her whip to trip the next guard that comes within reach.

Hadega jabs a gnarled finger toward the man. "Such an impolite welcome AND to lie to your guests, unconscionable! You will be remanded to the Almas Lodge for questioning!"

Hadega likewise waits, gripping her whip, posture rigid.

Hadega straightens her posture after sneaking about in such an undignified manner. Skulking about is so degrading! Then she moves further up the stairs.

"We should certainly discover the source of this voice and be done with this impolite welcome."

Hadega tries mightily to avoid making any sounds coming up the stairs behind Azrael.

Stealth: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

Ah, sorry I was under the impression we could reveal the rest by going up the stairs. Didn't realize they were 1st floor rooms.

Hadega says, "On second thought, Nal be a dear and scout these rooms so nothing comes up behind us."

She walks over to one of the doors.

Hadega sets her hands on her hips. She starts to search the area near the stairs for danger, keeping close by the others. "Well, which set of stairs will it be?"

"Yes one more. BACKS STRAIGHT EVERYONE!"

She inspires her comrades once again.

Then she turns her attention to the blue armor, scowling. She scans the floor, noting some debris in the corner.

"Unconscionable! The state of this manor is abhorrent!"

With her magic, she flings the offending debris at the armor.

Hadega shouts over the din of combat, "The red one is the weaker of the three, it doesn't have as much armor! We'll have to do more damage to the others to punch through! They're constructs so remember your lessons on them!"

Hadega straightens her bifocals as her grimace deepens. She begins to "inspire" her fellows. "This. Is. Unconscionable! To think such a welcome laid out for guests; it is a violation of decorum of the highest order! Nal, keep that posture straight when you strike. Enrax look lively young man, no slouching! All of you keep your manners about you, we will best these challenges WITH THE POWER OF PROPRIETY!"

Then she steps to the side to get a good look at the red armor and attempts to recall if she'd read about these creatures in any of her studies.

Hadega wrinkles the corner of her mouth down into a half-grimace looking at the manor. The scene reminds her of selling her own home in Absalom after she couldn't maintain the upkeep costs. "Yes," she says, "I want to have words with this unseemly lot."

She unclips the whip at her waist and moves up just behind Salera.

Hadega stares down the bridge of her nose at Jiggo. "Dear boy you must've been hit harder than I thought. Luz, he may need more medical attention."

She claps her hands together. "Well then! It looks like this is a dead end. Let's have Lysandria lead us to this meeting place and we can end this attempt to sully the Pathfinder name once and for all."

"We should go to the lodge and see if we can track down these imposter Pathinders. What does everyone think?"

Hadega paces the room, her hands folded behind her back.

"Then if Lysandria would be so kind, she could lead us to this meeting place when we return."

"And I don't think I've heard of these 'Pathfinders' being stationed at the lodge, either." She wrinkles her nose. "This plot is wholly undignified!"

Hadega raises an eyebrow in thought. "I agree. We should certainly question the staff on this Brimson and Cadmin too."

Perhaps there's more organization behind this unfortunate incident than we think...

Would Hadega be able to use Bardic Lore or Pathfinder Society Lore (I assume this would be a secret check) to know what high-ranking Pathfinders might be stationed at the Almas Lodge, and cross-reference these with Brimson and Cadmin?

Hadega remains silent through much of the conversation once it took its dark turn. She says, "Be sure that we will find out what happened to Eloise. To turn on a potential initiate and cause their death, horrible!" She pauses.

"Do you have any of the letters Eloise exchanged with this individual? Or her acceptance letter?"

Hadega pats the child on her head. "There's a good girl, listening to your mother."

When the Half-Elf appears, Hadega greets her and says, "It would be rude to not accept an invitation in good faith. Let us be away from this place!" She follows Lysandria with the others.
