Well, this team has its strengths, but haunts and stealth aren't among them. "Okay, wait guys! Let me...go see if there's anything else in there that may help us figure it out. Just...wait here." Nal slips into the fog again.

With Nal's sneaking down the hall, the fog dissipates, leaving Nal alone.
Having identified and temporarily disabled the haunt, you know that it will reform in an hour if the situation that created it is not resolved.
Feel free to move yourselves around the second floor. I assume you want to check out the central area where Nal heard the voice.
| Salera, the Reformed |
Jiggo is about to congratulate Nal on her ways around the haunt when Salera silences him and advances towards the noise.
Salera will Avoid Notice, using Stealth +9.
Hadega E. Scrimsworth
|
Hadega straightens her posture after sneaking about in such an undignified manner. Skulking about is so degrading! Then she moves further up the stairs.
"We should certainly discover the source of this voice and be done with this impolite welcome."
Nal Bagura
|
Nal is startled by the sudden clearing of the fog, but she keeps quiet, slipping over to the door with the voice and straining to hear more of the conversation. When the group has gathered, she peeks in to see who's there.

Nal peeks around the corner and sees a man (new image added to slide 2.) You don't hear the voice anymore.
By the way, the double doors look to have been destroyed by some Force from the hallway and may as well not be there.
| Salera, the Reformed |
Salera simply nods to Nal, ready to leap in when she does.
Nal Bagura
|
Nal mentally slaps her forehead. <groan> I should have known that would happen. She silently flattens herself against the wall in the hall, hoping the man didn't notice her. She mouths at Salera: "Distract him." Quietly, she draws her sword.
Stealth +9

"Because let's be honest, I haven't been in this house in decades." Salera steps forward, trying to distract the man.

"So anyway, if you're done squatting on my estate, there's the exit."

You should be escorting me out of this awful place. I just came to Almas to arrange some business deals, and I ended up trapped in this rented mansion. I’ve been stuck here for days.

Hadega jabs a gnarled finger toward the man. "Such an impolite welcome AND to lie to your guests, unconscionable! You will be remanded to the Almas Lodge for questioning!"

I have done no such thing. I'm just a merchant who made the mistake of renting a haunted house.
Luz Lumino

"Well, my good fellow, though good may be the wrong word, it seems you are quite active indeed. Judging by the pattern and fabric of your clothes, it is clear you were in the alley. Be a good chap and tell us how to end this haunt."

Booo, Paizo ate my post it seems.
Azrael's mind reels as the man's shortsword cuts her near the entry wound that killed her earlier in life. Stepping back her mind breaks. As it does so several dozen tears in the fabric of reality that only before gave her a scyther now slowly spill forth hundreds of weapons. Azrael's form begins to fade as it shimmers between two realities as she slices into the man.

Nal's eyes go wide as portals open all over the room, spilling weapons everywhere. Well, that's a trick.
Realizing that they'll soon be flanked and not knowing how many guards are going to answer Revinus's call, Nal suggests to Hadega: "Don't let them flank you. Get inside!"
Stepping up to the guard with the blue neckerchief, she stabs at him with her sword.
