@Rinaldo:The spell description (which I linked above) states that it turns off 'spells of the chosen type and supernatural and spell-like class abilities from classes that grant spellcasting of the selected type', so yes, it should.

Gaius delays until immediately after Baba Yaga, then casts Quickened Air Walk and Source Severance(Arcane) upon Sir Ambrose, who walks over to directly above Baba Yaga (to prevent her 5' stepping out of the effect). Say goodbye to all of your class abilities and spells, including any buffs that she has cast ;-)
Male Samsaran (Dual-Cursed) Lunar Oracle 17 (AC 28/20/18; HP 139/139; Fort +13, Ref +23, Will +14; Init +13; CMD 17; Perception +26)
Actually, there is a 'fix' for that in the Great Archery Arms Race (TM). Cyclonic ammunition deals with those pesky wind problems ;-)

Gaius bows politely to the Great Crone, then casts Particulate Form upon the party, followed by Quickened Blessing of Fervor upon the party. Cleric Haste, I can at least provide ;-)
Male Samsaran (Dual-Cursed) Lunar Oracle 17 (AC 28/20/18; HP 139/139; Fort +13, Ref +23, Will +14; Init +13; CMD 17; Perception +26)
Yes, this is the disconnect provided by PFS-play, as opposed to a home campaign. In a home campaign, it provides an interesting roleplaying twist... in PFS, it is just terrifying :-/
Male Samsaran (Dual-Cursed) Lunar Oracle 17 (AC 28/20/18; HP 139/139; Fort +13, Ref +23, Will +14; Init +13; CMD 17; Perception +26)
Yeah - if you Reincarnate as a non-PFS legal race, you would need to pay for a Wish (which you only have access to if you are 17th level or higher), or be considered perma-dead... So I would actually say that is an extremely dangerous ability!
Male Samsaran (Dual-Cursed) Lunar Oracle 17 (AC 28/20/18; HP 139/139; Fort +13, Ref +23, Will +14; Init +13; CMD 17; Perception +26)
Reflex (Gaius): 1d20 + 23 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 23 + 2 = 36.
Gaius and Sir Ambrose retain their footing. Gaius raises an eyebrow. "Well, if you are intent on flight..." He then 5' steps across, and casts Quickened Ill Omen, followed by a Persistent Piercing Baleful Polymorph. DC 25 Fort (roll thrice and take the lowest), followed by a DC 25 Will save (roll thrice and take the lowest). Seeking to turn her into a snowy owl. I will expend my use of Misfortune (which will be a triple roll, take the lowest deal, too) on her, if necessary, to try and make the spell stick.

Hilariously, if this is indeed even a 'normal' shoggoth, I don't think it is *quite* enough to put it down ;-) They have a *lot* of hit points, and a surprisingly high AC for an ooze.
Male Samsaran (Dual-Cursed) Lunar Oracle 17 (AC 28/20/18; HP 139/139; Fort +13, Ref +23, Will +14; Init +13; CMD 17; Perception +26)
Doing a deep-dive on the thread... Gaius looks thoughtful. "In reviewing that poem, and cross-referencing what we have uncovered thus far, I find it curious that one of the porcelain dolls was missing, as was one of the 27-link chains from the throne. Given the reference to 'Ringed in steel, three loops times nine / Prized from the luckless seat / Supplicants kneel, of porcelain fine / The banished queen to meet.', I think those items might be keys to access the next 'tier' of this place? Although whether one pair for the party, or whether we each need one, is open to interpretation. I think we should err on the side of caution, and have a pair each. We probably then need to touch them to that clock, I suppose...?" That's my best guess, at least...
Male Samsaran (Dual-Cursed) Lunar Oracle 17 (AC 28/20/18; HP 139/139; Fort +13, Ref +23, Will +14; Init +13; CMD 17; Perception +26)
Gaius winces. "That... tracks with everything I have heard, and experienced, of Baba Yaga's peculiar sense of humour." What sort of check is it, to work out what we might need to do to 'fix' things?
Male Samsaran (Dual-Cursed) Lunar Oracle 17 (AC 28/20/18; HP 139/139; Fort +13, Ref +23, Will +14; Init +13; CMD 17; Perception +26)
"Being a dual-cursed oracle, I have some knowledge of curses. Is there some sub-topic in particular that you are interested in? I can't promise to know *everything*, but I am more than willing to offer what assistance I can."
Male Samsaran (Dual-Cursed) Lunar Oracle 17 (AC 28/20/18; HP 139/139; Fort +13, Ref +23, Will +14; Init +13; CMD 17; Perception +26)
Gaius bows politely. "Off-hand? I would recommend against trying - it would *not* end well for you. That said, I would vastly prefer it if we avoided having the situation descend into violence; I find words are far more efficient, and require less tidying-up afterwards." Diplomacy: 1d20 + 42 ⇒ (14) + 42 = 56.
Male Samsaran (Dual-Cursed) Lunar Oracle 17 (AC 28/20/18; HP 139/139; Fort +13, Ref +23, Will +14; Init +13; CMD 17; Perception +26)
Gaius patiently waits for his companion, still unaware of what is happening on the other side... Charisma (Gaius): 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (12) + 15 = 27.
...and then once he realises, quickly backs away again.
Male Samsaran (Dual-Cursed) Lunar Oracle 17 (AC 28/20/18; HP 139/139; Fort +13, Ref +23, Will +14; Init +13; CMD 17; Perception +26)
As soon as Rinaldo succeeds, Gaius tries as well. Charisma - Gaius: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (13) + 15 = 28.
Gaius' divan wanders up to the door and starts going through, until Ambrose buts his head against the door with a yowl. "Ah, we will have to do better than that, my dear fellow..."
Male Samsaran (Dual-Cursed) Lunar Oracle 17 (AC 28/20/18; HP 139/139; Fort +13, Ref +23, Will +14; Init +13; CMD 17; Perception +26)
Reflex: 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (7) + 23 = 30. Gaius easily dodges the explosion (Evasion). He then dusts himself off... Perception: 1d20 + 26 ⇒ (20) + 26 = 46. "Interesting... one of the throne's foot manacles has been removed..." Does this appear to have been done relatively recently, or is this something that happened long ago?
Male Samsaran (Dual-Cursed) Lunar Oracle 17 (AC 28/20/18; HP 139/139; Fort +13, Ref +23, Will +14; Init +13; CMD 17; Perception +26)
As far as I can tell, the only places to go thus far, are either down the hole up here, or back through the crack in the ice, near the geyser. Since we have already flown up here, I thought we might as well go with the area closest to where we are now ;-)
Male Samsaran (Dual-Cursed) Lunar Oracle 17 (AC 28/20/18; HP 139/139; Fort +13, Ref +23, Will +14; Init +13; CMD 17; Perception +26)
Sir Ambrose rips into the Linnorn! Bite, DF, RM, GH, IC: 1d20 + 21 + 4 + 2 + 2 + 3 - 1 ⇒ (13) + 21 + 4 + 2 + 2 + 3 - 1 = 44, for 2d6 + 19 + 4 + 2 + 2 + 3 ⇒ (3, 1) + 19 + 4 + 2 + 2 + 3 = 34 Magical, Ghost-Touch, Good, Lawful damage, +2d6 ⇒ (6, 1) = 7 Holy damage.
Will: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (1) + 13 = 14. When it looks like Sir Ambrose will be hit by its death curse, Gaius hurriedly bends probability. Casting Borrow Fortune. Will: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (20) + 13 = 33.
Male Samsaran (Dual-Cursed) Lunar Oracle 17 (AC 28/20/18; HP 139/139; Fort +13, Ref +23, Will +14; Init +13; CMD 17; Perception +26)
@Tuwo: It is a surprise round; unless I am missing something (and arrow-pounce would be something that I would *definitely* like to know about), you normally only get a single attack in a surprise round? With a shrug, Gaius casts Righteous Might and Quickened Divine Favour upon Sir Ambrose, who, with a challenging roar, pounces upon the Linnorn! Bite, DF, RM, GH, IC, Pounce: 1d20 + 20 + 4 + 2 + 2 + 3 - 1 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 20 + 4 + 2 + 2 + 3 - 1 + 2 = 51, for 2d6 + 19 + 4 + 2 + 2 + 3 ⇒ (3, 6) + 19 + 4 + 2 + 2 + 3 = 39 Magical, Ghost-Touch, Good, Lawful damage, +2d6 ⇒ (6, 4) = 10 Holy damage.
Sadly, that is the best I can do when I have limited actions in a surprise round ;-)
Male Samsaran (Dual-Cursed) Lunar Oracle 17 (AC 28/20/18; HP 139/139; Fort +13, Ref +23, Will +14; Init +13; CMD 17; Perception +26)
Knowledge(Arcana): 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (19) + 19 = 38. Gaius nods soberly. "Baba Yaga's hut stood here..." Perception: 1d20 + 25 ⇒ (20) + 25 = 45.
Before landing, Gaius whispers to the others. "
Male Samsaran (Dual-Cursed) Lunar Oracle 17 (AC 28/20/18; HP 139/139; Fort +13, Ref +23, Will +14; Init +13; CMD 17; Perception +26)
Gaius nods. "Technically, it is an aerosolised algal bloom, but practically, it is normally a spell unique to Druidic traditions; I have access to it, because I have a special connection to Lunar Mysteries, which plump the depths of transformation and madness - surely you have heard of the maddening effects of the full moon? It seemed like a fitting way to deal with the followers of the Demon Lord of Frost Giants." It is also the only time, *ever*, that I have found a use for that particular Mystery spell!
Male Samsaran (Dual-Cursed) Lunar Oracle 17 (AC 28/20/18; HP 139/139; Fort +13, Ref +23, Will +14; Init +13; CMD 17; Perception +26)
Gaius sighs, and shakes his head. "Pity. If you are intent on slaughter, however, by all means, kill each other..." He then casts Blood Mist, encompassing the entire enemy camp in a 60' radius cloud of blood red mist, which pours into the eyes and mouths of its victims, enraging them! DC 30 Fort save negates. Blood Mist:
This spell summons forth a misty cloud of rust-red toxic algae. Any creature within the mist is coated by it, turning the creature the same reddish color. All targets within the mist gain concealment. Any creature within the mist must save or take 1d4 points of Wisdom damage and become enraged, attacking any creatures it detects nearby (as the “attack nearest creature” result of the confused condition). An enraged creature remains so as long as the spell is in effect (which would be 16 minutes, in this case). A creature only needs to save once each time it is within the mist (though leaving and returning requires another save). Gaius then sits back to watch the show.
Male Samsaran (Dual-Cursed) Lunar Oracle 17 (AC 28/20/18; HP 139/139; Fort +13, Ref +23, Will +14; Init +13; CMD 17; Perception +26)
Gaius shakes his head. "We were not directly tasked here by him, but Gods do have a habit of moving in mysterious ways... Who can say whether or not reality was influenced by him to ensure our presence here?"
Male Samsaran (Dual-Cursed) Lunar Oracle 17 (AC 28/20/18; HP 139/139; Fort +13, Ref +23, Will +14; Init +13; CMD 17; Perception +26)
Gaius clears his throat loudly, and politely addresses the Giant Horde. "Well met! I am the Lord Tullian, Visbaronet, Baronet, Count, Landgrave, Hereditary Senator of Taldor, Gaius Plinius Secundus, fourteenth of his name, and loyal disciple of the Great God Nikolai Tesla. I know that some folks prefer bloodshed, but my illustrious colleagues and I have no quarrel with you; we simply wish to pass by peacefully. Do we have an accord?" Diplomacy: 1d20 + 33 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 33 + 2 = 52.
