Welcome! This will eventually mature into a full-fledged Discussion thread for our game but for the time being, we'll chat here about what everyone wants to play, character build stuff, and other stuff!

Please feel free to introduce yourselves and share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. I'll give a more proper introduction of myself a bit later, for I work nights and I am very tired and in need of sleep :)

Also feel free to go ahead and begin kicking around ideas of what you'd like to play! A suggestion was passed along via Hawthwile that we start out with a short PFS scenario (for no credit) just so everyone can get their feet wet and decide if PbP is ultimately for them or not. I think this is a great idea and depending on what sort of characters people would like to play I can probably come up with a scenario that would be fun and easily adaptable for the group :)

Hello! Earlier this month I ordered the Deluxe Hardcover of the Pathfinder 2nd Edition Core Rulebook but I've noticed that the order status is listed as both Pending and Suspended. Clicking on the order in Order History indicates that I need a valid payment method...but checking my last CC statement it looks like I was charged most of the cost?

I'm not sure what went wrong but I'm afraid that if I adjusted my payment method I would end up being double-charged. Any assistance in resolving this would be greatly appreciated :)

We're Not All Bad

As an undead army pushed forth by the Whispering Tyrant stirs in the Southern Fangwood, driving the local animals to flee in terror, the goblins of the Crookedtoes tribe suddenly find their bellies empty and growling for food. Worse, the tribe's best scout has gone missing, and the chief has tasked the four brightest members of the Crookedtoes to go out into the woods and find out what happened. While searching for the missing scout, the goblins stumble across a wrecked farmhouse on a hill and discover a group of knights camped nearby. Though the knights have retreated from the undead army menacing the area, they have decided to make one last, desperate stand: an endgame doomed to wipe out both the knights and the Crookedtoes settlement. Now, the four goblins must test their mettle—will they emerge as victorious heroes, or fall to the might of the undead scourge?

In the port of Senghor, it is taboo to even speak of the accursed ruin of Boali that sits on the other side of the bay, let alone to set foot in its rubble-strewn streets. Yet rumors have reached the Pathfinder Society that the Aspis Consortium has sent agents to search through this forbidden city. Although few people willingly travel to its shores, Boali is far from quiet. It falls to a small group Pathfinder agents to get the bottom of the Aspis plot without falling prey to the ruin's dangers. Can the PCs bring the Consortiums' true motives to light?

Contents in Signs in Senghor also contribute directly to the ongoing storyline of the Exchange faction.

But these secrets have been submerged for too long, and the remote coastal village of Blackcove has accidentally awoken a slumbering horror from a bygone age. Strange creatures now venture from beneath the waves to steal townsfolk away in the dark of night. Can the PCs discover the fate of Blackcove’s lost villagers? What secrets still lie hidden on the mysterious, ruined island just offshore, and what now lurks in the flooded temples beneath the isle? From Shore to Sea is an adventure for 6th-level characters, written for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and compatible with the 3.5 edition of the world’s oldest RPG, and produced in collaboration with the patrons of Open Design. Inside you’ll find villagers slowly succumbing to the ancestral taint in their blood, tentacled abominations from the deep, debased fish-men, ancient Azlanti technology, and a secret stretching back millennia to the legendary empire of Azlant itself.

This adventure is set along the mysterious Hellmouth Gulf coast in the diabolical empire of Cheliax in the Pathfinder Chronicles campaign setting, but can be easily adapted for any game world.

The Society must mount an epic offense to explore the immense subterranean city while simultaneously driving off the squatters within. If they succeed, the Pathfinders may discover that the greatest prize is not the mountain fortress itself but the treasure that lies at its heart. The adventure concludes Season 5, Year of the Demon.

A veteran Pathfinder exploring the Fenwall Mountains of Varisia has begun sleepwalking, traveling through the dead of night in the same direction each time. The following mornings, however, he awakens injured and lost in the wilderness, never reaching the mysterious destination that drew him from his bed in the night. Something is calling Kalkamedes, something powerful, but unless he can make it safely to the source of his somnambulism, that power will remain a mystery. It falls to a team of Pathfinders to escort the sleepwalker to his destination and uncover the true nature of the strange phenomenon overtaking Kalkamedes's dreams.

Hello! I've recently offered to start GMing for two long-term PFS groups here on the forums and would like some suggestions for scenarios or modules to run each of them through, based on some of their requests and suggestions.

The first group is currently running through the Faithless & Forgotten trilogy and is nearing the end of the second scenario; the level ranges on this group when we finish the trilogy will be in the 2-5 range barring someone deciding to slow-track or switch out characters. Other than two of the characters having an IC-conversation about going to Irrisen at some point and another player suggesting that their character would do better with more urban scenarios, I have no real suggestions or requests from these players.

Group Two is a mixture of experienced players and players that are brand new to PFS, so everyone is starting at 1st and 2nd level. Right now I'm running them through Confirmation (suggested by the veteran players) but I'm not sure what might work best for their next adventure when we get to it. Should I run another evergreen like First Steps Pt. 1 or Wounded Wisp for the sake of the new players or move on to non-evergreen stuff? Players in this group have made several requests ranging from fey and nature-themed scenarios to planar scenarios to heading to the Mwangi and putzing around the Worldwound. I also had one specific request to run Shores of Heaven and the player requesting is willing to burn a GM star to replay it.

I've got maybe 45ish scenarios under my own belt as a player and around 13 to 14 games as a GM so while I know there's a lot of material out there that would probably suit one or both groups well, I've not experienced enough of it to really come up with a ton of ideas on my own. Preemptive thanks for any suggestions or help that anyone might have to offer! :)

During the conflict, their generals also created countless weapons and defenses that pushed the limits of magic, yet most of these were destroyed in battle or lost forever. Recent investigations suggest that some of this ancient power is at play in an insular town outside Alkenstar, but there the trail runs cold. Can the PCs uncover the truth while braving the residents' eccentricities?

Greetings! Do you like vine leshies? Have you ever wondered what might happen if you got an entire group of vine leshies together? Me too - let's find out! :)

This is a recruitment for #7-12 The Twisted Circle for the upcoming PbP Gameday VII. The game will begin during Session #1 on August 13th and will be low-tier. I am also limiting this particular game to vine leshy PCs only for no other reason than because it amuses me to do so. So if you've got a vine leshy character, please sign up! Currently I have five spots available and selection will be made via lottery should I get more than five interested parties.

Also, this scenario should be particularly enjoyable to those leshies who are nature-themed or who like their adventures with a healthy dose of investigation :)

Few dare tread through the ancient groves of the Verduran Forest, and those who do settle in these woodlands tend to stay close to their communities. Mystery and danger rarely deter agents of the Pathfinder Society, however. When the semi-retired Pathfinder Falbin ventured from his home deep in the wood, he came across an unexpected pocket of flourishing growth and summer weather in the middle of the wintery forest. He fears that this disturbance is the work of a cabal of druids whose mayhem the Society ended six years ago. Have the druids returned to wreak havoc, or are other forces at play?

The aim of this campaign is to run through the three scenario 'Faithless & Forgotten' story for Pathfinder Society. All three scenarios are meant to be played in order and while players are able and free to come and go between scenarios if they wish, I hope that everyone will stay for all three scenarios.

I'll eventually post some additional information about myself and how I prefer to run my games but for now, please settle in, get comfortable, and decide which characters everyone will be playing :)

Ever since the tragedy at Delvehaven decades ago, the infernal empire Cheliax has rarely allowed Pathfinders to explore its many ruins and archaeological treasures—even then only after its recently disenfranchised liaison Zarta Dralneen fought for that privilege. Cheliax has once again extended its hand to the Society, inviting its agents to investigate an abandoned keep that dates back to the Chelish civil war. It's up to the PCs to navigate the Corentyn's streets and politics as they uncover the buried past and lay the foundation for a new partnership with a one-time foe.

"Let Bygones Be" is the first scenario in the three-part Faithless and Forgotten campaign arc. It is followed by Pathfinder Society Scenario #7-16: "Lost Colony of Taldor" and Pathfinder Society Scenarios #7-18: "The Infernal Inheritance." All three chapters are intended to be played in order.

The Pathfinder Society sends you to the fabled Kingdom of the Impossible, the island of Jalmeray, to stop an Aspis Consortium black market relics dealer who is organizing the local bandits and violently robbing Jalmeray and Pathfinder Society caravans laden with relics, artifacts, and magical mysteries. When a venture-captain is murdered by the Aspis Consortium agent, it's up to the PCs to find him and do whatever it takes to stop him.

An ancient Thassilonian artifact has been unearthed in Magnimar and is to be auctioned off by the city government. In order to maintain good relations with those in power in the City of Monuments, the Pathfinder Society must obtain the relic without simply stealing it, although employing any other means necessary. It falls to the PCs to infiltrate the auction, sabotage the other bidders' efforts, and call in favors from those in the Society's debt to ensure the Runecarved Key (and the secrets it unlocks) belongs to the Pathfinders when the adventure draws to a close.

We can do both low-tier, both high-tier, or one of each - whatever folks want! I know at least one person will be playing a Level 3 ranger but beyond that, things are pretty open :)

Once I have the second table sorted out, I will create a second campaign and direct the appropriate players to it!

Also it's like 5:30 in the morning here so there'll be more to come about me, how I GM, etc. etc. later after I've had some sleep :3

*edit* I know a couple of the invited players are already familiar with each other and enjoy playing together so feel free to organize yourselves along those lines if you wish! Conversely if you think that there might be a particular player that you will butt heads with (I don't know everyone's playing history) then please SEND ME A PM to let me know and I will adjust the groups accordingly - do NOT post any such grievances here in Discussion.

*edit 2* As of right now I have 8 confirmed players with possibly two more (that I know IRL) that might join us. I'll give them a few more days and if I don't hear anything then I'll fill the remaining 4 spots via Flaxseed to make two groups of six.

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 1–5.

A veteran Pathfinder exploring the Fenwall Mountains of Varisia has begun sleepwalking, traveling through the dead of night in the same direction each time. The following mornings, however, he awakens injured and lost in the wilderness, never reaching the mysterious destination that drew him from his bed in the night. Something is calling Kalkamedes, something powerful, but unless he can make it safely to the source of his somnambulism, that power will remain a mystery. It falls to a team of Pathfinders to escort the sleepwalker to his destination and uncover the true nature of the strange phenomenon overtaking Kalkamedes's dreams.
