Hello to everyone and thank you for joining the game! I believe I'm familiar with everyone that will be playing, though I'm pretty certain that I've only ever GMed for Hmm and BretI. For those who haven't gamed with me, I work a 12-hour night shift job that currently operates on a 'Work 3, Off 1, Work 3, Off 3, Work 1, Off 3' rotation and it isn't always possible for me to do much (or sometimes any) posting while at work. So there will sometimes be gaps in my posting but I generally try to shoot for at least 1 post/day, including weekends.
This adventure won't be released to the general public until Wednesday, July 27th and unfortunately that happens to be right after I start my work week. I'll do my best to get things prepped quickly but it's likely I won't be able to get us started until the evening of Friday, July 29th or early Saturday, July 30th. That said, I'll at least try to get Gameplay opened up so you guys can RP with each other until I can get the adventure proper kicked off :)
As I was lucky enough to be able to play this live at PaizoCon (and since it's public knowledge on the product discussion thread), I can at least say that the pregens for this adventure consist of: Bard, Barbarian, Druid, and Rogue. You may choose one of these to play *or* you may bring your own 3rd level leshy character, if you have one.
There are probably other things to address but I'm a bit scattered tonight, so hopefully this will do for now! If you have any questions about how I do things, please don't hesitate to ask :)
Thanks for the invite! I'm fine starting on the 30th as well (or when you have time). Happy to play any of the leshy pregens! I have not built a druid yet so that might be the way I lean here.
I'm very grateful for the invite and starting on July 30th is perfect for me. I don't have a leshy myself, but I'm open to playing any of the leshies. If I had to choose it would be the bard or the rogue.

Yay! I signed up to run the 2E special and for PFS2 3-15.
I usually GM more than 2 games but I think these two slots will justifiably take up all my bandwidth.
Not sure what to play yet…
I really wanted to run March of the Dead but I don't like to rush my games and there's probably no way to get it done within the convention timeframe without everyone being really on top of posting. So I'll probably either do a regular scenario or maybe another bounty series like I did last year and save MotD to do on my own time at some point.

I am running MoTD on PbP now, and remaking the maps in 16:9 on Dungeondraft. I'll put them up on PFS Prep when done!

The module is now free for anyone to download so I'm going to get cracking on prep! In the meantime, we have the following four lovely leshy pregens to choose from:
Ahh Scary Gourd is a druid.
I will take Popcorn the Barbarian. I was thinking about my 1e leshy venomfist just the other day and missing him, so this works out.
As an aside, Fluff Fang is such a cool concept!! Putting Lion Blade on a leshy is a really fun idea and I want to steal it.

Fluff Fang does look very cool. I'm still inclined toward playing them, but I'm happy to be able to switch if someone else wants to take on the Lion Blade.
Bret & Hmm are playing their own leshy characters so you're good to pick whichever pregen you'd like! Also a reminder that we can have two druids or two bards (since Hmm's leshy is a bard) in the party and it'll be fine :)

I know GenCon/GenCon Online is happening and that folks might have other commitments they're juggling or will be juggling in the coming weeks, so I'm good with a relatively leisurely pace for the moment if that would suit folks :)
I would also be completely fine swapping over to the rogue. Both the characters look wonderful to play.

Work was busy last night and I'm beat! I'll try to move things along later this afternoon/evening, if circumstances are more favorable.
It's all good, you've not missed much! And I figured at least some of you would be busy with GC/GCO, too. Hope you're feeling better!

Apologies for the silence; work was busy and weird and distracting over most of the weekend/Monday. The great news though is that I'm off starting yesterday all the way through Tuesday night, so I should hopefully have more time to post - yeah!
That said, I'm also adopting a new kitten and go to pick him up later this afternoon so he might have me a little distracted for a few days :)

This has been my weekend & Monday to work, plus with Gameday kicking off and me handling the House GM duties for the 1e special, things have been a little busy on my end. I'll hold off on updating until tomorrow evening (after I've had some sleep) and bot Jackpot's roll then if need be :)

Hey guys, I apologize for the massive slowness of late. A little of it has genuinely been RL busyness but a lot of it is that I'm prone to get the 'blahs' when the days start getting shorter and it can sap my motivation and energy to get anything more than the bare minimum done when I'm not having to work.
(I do have some strategies in place to try and mitigate this but it's an ongoing affair.)
Even so, I need to at least be more communicative about that than I have been and for that, I'm sorry. I'll do my best to do better about letting you guys know when I can't post, whatever the reason may be. I'll also try to pick up the pace so we can finish up sooner rather than later and you guys can have your characters back for other adventures.

I absolutely understand all of that and you can take whatever you need ot get the blahs away. Do what you need to, but I will let you know that I still love this game and I have been having a great time.
Have you tried taking vitamin D or using a sunlamp? They have lamps that are supposed to help with Seasonal affective disorder which is often caused by lack of sunlight.
I really hope it works for you. I know one of my friends has found it effective for her.

Assuming there are no other potential health issues going on, Entropy's suggestions about Vitamin D and sunlamps are good ones.
I got a sunlamp a couple of years ago and when the days get short I try to sit in front of it for a little bit when I first get up in the afternoon/evening. The brand I ended up with was a Verilux Happy Light from Amazon (but you can also order direct from their site if you prefer to avoid Amazon); I think I paid maybe $40 for it but that was a couple years ago so I wouldn't be surprised if they're a bit more pricey now.
Vitamin D is good, though it might not be a bad idea to get it checked by your doctor before you take any supplements, just to see where you're starting from. In my case, mine was so low as to be genuinely deficient - but I also work nights and am bad about not getting outside much even during warm months, so those factors weren't helping either.

And Happy Halloween! Got my pumpkins carved, candy ready, porch light on and dressed up in my skeleton kigurumi. Now to see if any trick-or-treaters stop by - and if not, it was still fun to carve pumpkins and dress up :)
(Oh and I might get a post up in Gameplay in a bit, too!)
Work has been busy and the site was down for a while last night (go figure) but I'll try and get a post up tonight, if work allows!

Hey folks, I'm still alive. There's been some things going on IRL on my end that've been taking up my time and mental bandwidth lately, on top of work and today's US holiday. I can't guarantee that I'll get around to catching up today since I'll be spending time with family, but I will do my best to do so later tonight or tomorrow.
A close relative has been dealing with some serious depression and it got to a point I was genuinely worried for their physical safety. They're thankfully working on asking for/getting help and opening up more to the rest of the family and friends about what they're dealing with. Still worried about them, obviously, but things don't seem quite so dire now.
In the meantime, Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate and Happy Thursday to those who do not or who live elsewhere in the world :)
