Sorry about the silence. Updated/replaced my computer and suffice it to say it did not go as planned. All is working fine now though, just took more time than I hoped.
@ the Fly's Nest: Felina nods politely to acknowledge the man's promise.
When the halfling jumps on the crate she shakes her head, "No thank you kind sir. We should be heading out to our other destinations."
Felina nods, "Vancaskerin. Ok, should be easy." Then she turns to the others, "I'll walk along with you guys. I'm not quite sure where any of these places are. I just arrived in the city this morning."
Felina let's out a sigh of relief when her armor relaxes mere seconds after she felt it was finally really trying to kill her. When she heard the locals talk she slightly turned her head to better catch what they said. "The locals think it's the Cyphergates. Though it was a stronger event than they are used to."
The censer hanging from her belt suddenly turns upwards, coiling itself in it's chain. At the same time it feels like her armor is tightening around her chest, not unlike what was happening to Chalkou. She doesn't dare to speak, afraid the armor will tighten further if she lets any air out of her lungs. She does all she can, her hand grasping the odd, green holy symbol she carried with her. Luckily that one was made of stone.
Felina nods at the explanation and picks a broom, though her handling of it is rather awkward. She takes a moment to see how others use the thing and quickly adapts. The difference is still quite obvious though. Felina won't leave a spot alone until it's spotless but that does make her slower. When Elek introduces himself she nods, "My name is Felina. I'm from Magnimar. This is all rather new to me."
A Job? That was new. And interesting. Felina stands up, extending a hand towards Saul. "Well thank you sir. That is most kind of you. I'll be sure not to disappoint." All the while she does her very best to ignore Nessa's antics. When he accepts her hand she shakes it most vigorously.
Felina points out the unconscious but living thugs to the staff at hand before following Saul upstairs. Once the she takes one of the chairs. She sits there, back straight, legs crossed, hands in her lap. In her hands she holds the censer that hangs from her belt and that spewed forth an eagle just a short while ago.
"That's it already?" With a wave of her hand the eagle vanishes in to thin air. She then let's out a deep breath as she focuses on the pulses, or absence of pulses, from those on the floor.
Felina had hoped she'd be able to make some money off of the poor unfortunate saps at the Gold Goblin. Perhaps even get a job there to fix games in the casino's favor. The ensuing attack was not what she had anticipated. The flash had blinded her but hearing what was going on she came to the quick conclusion that there was a heist going on. While she couldn't quite see who was attacking she knew defending herself was first priority. With that her hand went for the censer hanging from her belt. As she did vapors started coming out of the many holes in the implements bottom and coalesced into a radiant eagle directly in front of her. She mentally commanded it to defend her.

I converted it to both .png and .jpg from the .jpeg it is by default. The last two should be more or less similar but some sites don't get that. Now the question becomes, how do I get them to you? On an aside, I'll be out of town from later today until Sunday evening so my net access will be severely limited.
Give me a moment, I'll try to find one. EDIT: Hmm, can't find the original, full art for this one so on to find a replacement.

Hey Felina, nice to be gaming with you! Hey, good to have you too. Now just make sure you don't get hit too badly, my ability to patch you up isn't entirely up and running just yet. It works but it's limited. Starting lvl 3 it will be quite a bit better as my healing reservoirs will vastly increase at that level.
I find it rather funny that Nessa and Felina appear to be on the different ends of the tiefling spectrum when it comes to what they are. Nessa appears to embrace, or even revel in, her heritage whereas Felina hides it and is actually ashamed of it. As far as age goes, I envision her to be somewhere in between the half-elf aging and the old tiefling aging. She is 52 but when it comes to maturity she'd be comparable to a college kid, so 20-ish.
Hello all, Cuàn here. For the image, her avatar would do nicely. It has the sawn-off horns Felina has in order to be able to hide them under a hat. For a similar reason she always wears gloves and high boots with long pants or skirts. All her extremities darken in color along the way, starting with turning sort of indigo to almost black on her fingers and toes. She also has no tail. It was surgically removed when she was little in order for her to look more human. It happened so long ago she doesn't even remember what having it was like. And for some more flavor things: Her abjuration implement is a minty green marble holy symbol of the Azlanti god of healing, Aesocar. She has no clue about that though, she just knows it's some ancient god.
