Observation: The monolith who my animated treasure attacked appears to have taken full damage from those attacks that hit, which probably means you don't need special arrows. Thanks, luckily they are durable, so I can just pick them back up (when they hit)

Eolowyn's reasoning: the vampire will retreat to one of the many islands in the lake. If we can find out which one we can return and once Naur is back to normal we can then move there (or wait).
I am assuming that Eolowyn knows that vampires can return to their coffin and will rise again unless truly killed. She has no clue if that is a matter of minutes, hours or days.
