I have created some personalized/custom magic items for a Mystic Theurge NPC I am using. Since this NPC is important I thought it thematic and a good use of the feats that I created her with. I placed an order a few days ago and was perusing the store and kept having issues with various pages involving miniatures. I clicked on the link to open the page and then it doesn't really load. You get the name of the page and then nothing between that and Paizo info bar at the bottom of the page, the gap was non-existant. This happened in the general miniatures pages and the clearance pages. Sorry this is the best info I can give, its Win10 and the most recent version of Chrome if that helps. Thanks EtG
Do we know if Owlcat has said anything about adding the WotR PC classes alongside the additional race options to Kingmaker? Since I am assuming the Kingmaker Class and race list will be the core of WotR alongside the additionals that have been unlocked in the KS. Also will they increase the archetype list up to 5 for each class. Couldn't find much info on Owlcats own forums. Thanks EtG
The wilderness of the internet ate the first attempt at this. What is going on with reaper and your mini's, since the last PF mini's they produced was from the Hell's Rebels AP. Also if it is still existing will they be able to add the Kingmaker computer game characters and do you know what happened to the Beginner Box Black Dragon that they previewed but never released. What do you think we will see in any future DLC I for 1 would like to see is outfit customization, I know it changes when you wear items and you can change the colour but I would like to change the base outfit. Another is a remake of the separatist archetype for cleric and possibly taking archetypes for each class to 5. But what do you think will we get more classes and which ones and will we get a multiplayer. EtG
1st: Lini? ie Bard where did her print press quest appear on the map it says Narlmarches but I have pretty much wandered all across it and can't find it.
Also about go the custom party route in a new run since it is essentially true pot luck with the odd skill check/kingdom check for the NPC's. Who do you recommend as envoy since I went with the half-orc(who on a side note sucks as general, amiri is far better) who has his uses particularly Oleg tax quest. Now is it just me or is sodding hard to get all the bits for the necklace artifact that you can find in chapter 1 but easy for the stalwart helm from chapter 2/3. Also do not I repeat do not try candlemere isle unless you are ideally level 7 I was level 5 and hit 6 whilst on it and it was a hell of a drag with the constant need to camp cause of the wisps. And has anyone else crapped themselves when they found the linnorm at the bridge in chapter 2. Thanks EtG.

I have for a long time been fascinated by the fact that despite Arodens death that some of his servant faiths still exist gives great ideas. Now this thread is for us to create or flesh out some of these that focus on a very condensed portfolio. The first is one that could function as a patron for both the Pathfinder Society and just explorer style characters. Marius Alignment: N Favoured Weapon: Longsword Domains: Glory, Travel, Trickery Was a saint of Arodens church that was the patron of exploration and adventure who was a member of the 1st Army of Exploration that died towards the end of the armies’ campaign. Aroden raised him up as a saint and while the Armies of Exploration existed was a prominent force with his cult inside the church in the nation of Taldor itself. With the cessation of the Explorer armies his cult faded into the background and shrink in size, when Aroden died it was believed that Marius also died. But in recent years his cult has begun to grow again and the fact that it receives divine backing raises the possibility that he still exists, possibly with a new patron. Hope that this can give a solid start for some ideas to expand upon. EtG
Thanks go out to the Mapping Golarion thread for the approximate square mileage of Taldor. Now they have it approximately at 242,900sqm which using various world generators using an age of 6000years and a settled pop of about 9.7million. So hopefully this can allow people to map out the nation to their own preferences. Now the arable land is about 40% total landmass the rest is wilderness which should hopefully help. I will be doing some work later involving prefectures and attempt to assign suitable pop and hopefully military to each. Anyway Later. EtG
Saw that the San Diego Chargers are relocating to LA. Also caught a few videos about including one from the San Diego Council. Didn't believe them when the said they tried to keep the team there particularly since the evidence suggests that for it to drag on 15 years that isn't the case. Hope that all the fans remember everything is a two edged sword and despite the Mayor saying the city will be fine I doubt it. Puts me in mind of all those that thought that Rangers getting put in the third division of Scottish football was a good thing. Unfortunatly that proved to not be the case, so I hope for all you fans that the city can agree with some team to move there. Sincere Condolences EtG
First off happy New Year to everyone and I am well aware that I said I would be off till mid-January but I finished this little project and thought I would share it. Now this is only the basics to allow GM's to convert BG & TOSC to pen & paper rpg. You will have to create the quests and encounters yourself but this should help with some of the aspects that you will need. OK this is part conversion, part homebrew and part mash-up so forgive me now onwards to the meat of this project. I have a vague recollection of a Prestige Class that mixed rogue and cleric but no longer have my 3/3.5 books bar pathfinder. If someone could put the name and possibly the entire thing up it would be appreciated. As an additional thing the "Sacred" special ability for weapons, if that could also be posted that would help. I think a little advice/help is required for this little project. I need 3 adventurer bands that have a bit of a theme to them. The first band is a group of 6 female adventures including a 1/2 orc wizard, a 1/2 elf bard, a human Barbarian wearing sod all in the way of armour and three other members. They are from more northen climes. Group 2 consists of 5 members mostly human with a least 1 elemental kin amongst them. They are from More southern/desert climes(Arabian Adventures style). Group 3 consists of 5 members a only 1 is human. From a major metropolis with a seaport. They ideally need to use stuff from the following books Core, APG, ACG, UM and UC and for group 1 please keep to as few archetypes as possible. Thanks EtG
I will start this with saying that I am a regular poster now but have been a watcher since Rise of the Runelords came out. Now I don't know if this is a trend, fad or the end of an era but the boards to me are no longer a fun place to visit all the time. Part of this is the disappearance of long time posters or just their self imposed exiles but the boards have become a less fun place. I haven't seen Set, Dabble, Ryjin, Spalding, Purple Furry Cat Gnome, Ashiel and DTBone but the boards are both more quiet, empty and less enjoyable than before. Some of this is possibly due to life, bans or just time but I also notice Jiggy less and TOZ isn't everywhere. Its also annoying with some posters attempts at levity Captain Yesterday and his infinite aliases for example and the more not really hostile but abruptness of the boards. I am well aware that this is my opinion but the Messageboards no longer feel like they did, whether this change is good or bad I cant tell. My honest opinion is that the fun and enjoyment of the boards has gone I'm just hoping that its a short lived thing but I honestly cant tell. Sorry about the rant but this has been bothering me for a while now, hopefully thing change. Anyway thanks for your time. Arran Out.
I was clearing out some stuff and came across my Baldurs Gate manual and thought that it would be a cool idea to updated the town and mix in the pathfinder ruleset. A mixture of Golarion and FR Deities will be used and that the successful completion of the Baldurs Gate game has occurred but at the earlier date of 1368DR and this is the town as of 1370DR. First off I have expanded the towns population to about 3100 people and that its under Baldurs Gates official protection. The town now has an official mayor, a constable and his watch alongside a Flaming Fist Barracks. The Merchants League has also opened up a waystation in the town and that Thalantyr has rebuilt and reopened Ulcasters school. Was also thinking that a minor modification to the way armour works would help when showing the differences between normal and magic armour in the game. The first is that masterwork reduces the weight of the armour by 10% and magic reduces it by another 10% for a 20% total reduction. This will not affect mithral and the affect for admaintium will be halved hopefully this wont be too disruptive. More at a later date. EtG.
This may be beating a dead horse but is it possible that a detailed book about the various ancient civilizations that existed both pre and post earthfall. Also with there be one about forgotten gods like the various founders of Arodens church and Lissala etc I don't mind if its all one book but I am fairly curious to a lot of these nuggets of Golarions past. Just putting this here to gauge any interest and if people want to help with the rules, stat blocks and math for this little enterprise. Now I will preface this by saying a) that I am suffering from depression and this is a way to help it and b) part of the project won’t start till the new year. With that out of the way I plan on creating a village/small town in Taldor and part of the project will be painting miniatures and various terrain for it. So, some suggestions of sites will be welcome but I have a few decent leads currently with the following companies:
Now the goal is to create a fully functioning community including economy so it could be extensive. I will probably aim for about 325 people or so, which places it as a small town the traits would probably be strategic location and holy site which we will go more into later. It will be an Overlord style community with a noble house, I will possibly ignore some common assertions when it comes to the amount of guards and what that a community this size could support. Now most of the NPC class characters will come from the NPC Codex and some from the GMG, others will just be minor customizations of them. Now the interesting part will come when we start creating the various personality types for more major NPC’s particularly those with various PC classes. Also, what organizations do we think will be present in the town and how will they interact with the town and the PC’s. So Taldor, I envision this place like it was a mix of the old Roman Empire and the Holy Roman Empire with a few simple reasoning’s. First is both the prefecture system and the senatorial system the second is each province reminds me of the various mini kingdoms that made up the HRE. Now this covers both the decadent side and the feuding, scheming, plotting and warring side. Now the location of the town and the barony that it is in is near to where the Falling river connects to the Verduran fork, this places it just inside the Yanmass prefecture. The towns strategic location comes from the low ridge that the watchtower is built upon and a stone bridge over the river, this bridge is on a branch of the Yanmass to Maheto trade route. I am placing the town here for a few reasons a) it places it as a possible conflict point between families and b) the presence of the wood nearby.
My vision of Taldor is numerous royal houses one attached to each prefecture and the various alliances between them and the proxy wars that are fought between the various vassal families. The family in charge of the town is a more adventurous family and a bit more level headed except when it comes to a rival family. With that laid out what types of foes would we expect to beset this place, well we are told that Taldor being 6000 years old approx. has exterminated most of the monsters inside its territory. Now bandits and river pirates are common and with proximity to the Verduran forest we can have Kobolds, the odd fey, magical beasts and possibly Dragons. Another type could be undead from the various ruins that dot the landscape and then you have the political style foes. Now this should help to get things started and to add to some family ideas.
Forgot to mention due to the location of the town the lord’s soldiers will be a larger group than normal at about 30 or so members but will also be mostly warrior 3, with possibly 1 or 2 PC class members. Thanks

I am having a hard time getting my head around the wonderous item creation rules. I'm wanting to create a custom robe for a 6th Lvl Abjurer NPC that functions as a cloak of resistance and gives the ability to use protection from arrows 1/day. I have it that the NPC crafted it herself but each time I look at the rules I cant seem to grasp them. EtG. |
