Additional Books

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

With PF going to 2.0 I find myself planning to stay with 1st so I need some advice on any additional books I may need.
I have: Core, APG, UM, UC, UCam, GG, UE, ACG, NPC Codex and Bestiary 1&2.
Now I plan on getting the Villan Codex and the Sandpoint book since it will help with a world I am building. But I mainly use Undead as foes so which bestiary should I get to supplement the others and what other books would you recommend. Now my funds are limited so try to keep it to 3-4 hardbacks and 2-3 supplements please. Hopefully this will add either confirmation on a product to purchase or give a new idea/argument for one.

Thanks EtG

I would recommend the Tome of Horrors.

FGG has all their Pathfinder products on sale at a steep discount, and the Tome of Horrors provides at least two bestiaries worth of material.

Either I dropped this in the wrong subforum or people just avoid my threads or the boards have really died down but please some constructive help. On that not thanks Volkard I prefer Paizo only but have heard alot about that book so I may have to add it to my list probably as an extra.

Thanks EtG

The Tome of Horrors takes a few creatures from older editions of D&D and that didn't make the cut to PF. There are many, many good 3rd Party additions to your library out there.

I would recommend getting Bestiaries 3 through 6, as well. New undead are in all of them, as well as many extraplanar creatures. Also, every creature in these books can be found at either www.d20pfsrd.com or archivesofnethys.com. You can use those sites until you decide whether or not you want those books. I think I have more of the hardbacks than you, but they're not all necessary. I was just fortunate enough to receive them as gifts or catch them on sale.
