Hey there.

The base version of the mobile game is free.

The base version of the Steam game costs money.

I have purchased content on the mobile version (iOS), and after I purchased the Steam version and linked my accounts, all content that was on mobile was available to me, as such there is some content that I have only paid for once.

The content that I have purchased on both Mobile and Steam is Adventure 3, 4, 5 and 6, as I purchased these on mobile and they are part of the base game on Steam.

As an early adopter and supporter I certainly have been screwed by Obsidian's decision, but if I were a new user, then paying $25 for the base game (without discount), or $40 for all content (without discount) and being able to access all the content on Steam and mobile platform sounds like a pretty good deal.

It appears that the amount of Promos is down to 19 (RotR & SnS). Whereas yesterday there were 28 (RotR, SnS & WotR).

Also the format of the page has changed.

Will the WotR promos be back ?

Currently it appears that there are promos from RotR and S&S. I hope we see promos from WotR and MM once the AP is completed.

Will the cards from the Pathfinder Battles Iconic Heroes sets be available in the future?

I am sorry for not being clearer in my question. I should have asked:

Is anyone aware of any other Scenario Cards that have turned a specific characters power from beneficial to detrimental for the party?

I think that the examples are not the same as the 'Evening at the Canny Jackal'Scenario, as they effect everyone in the party, you are still able to succeed, you can choose which character in the party to tackle the challenge or they only occur if a specific character encounters a specific card.

Whereas with these characters your choice is :
1.use my power and decrease the parties chances of successfully completing the Scenario
or
2. not use my power at all

Evening at the Canny Jackal states 'To win the scenario, each characters hand, deck and discard pile must total at least 21 cards.'

In regards to this, can you please advise where a characters buried cards are considered to be ?

I'm playing as CD Amiri and would like to know if I have made a sup-optimal choice.

Just completed this last night with CD Amiri and CD Harsk.

Definitely the hardest scenario so far. We just scraped through, with 4 turns left.

Midway through Harsk almost died, but Scarab buckler saved the day and by the end Amiri was down to 1 card. Evil eye curse of poisoning on Amiri was fun times as well (Damn you evil eye trigger). We had to take multiple turns just sitting there healing ourselves.

We certainly enjoyed it and while it was hard it didn't feel as frustrating as Demonic Hordes/Slaughterhouse/WotR etc etc.

So confusing, Estra and Ezren. They both start with E, both have names with 5 letters and are both elderly.

Guess I'll have to take greater care when reading the rules

In that example, isn't Clinging Venom being cast by MM Ezren?, who can ignore immunity.

I am seeking clarification on where it is allowed or forbidden to combine base sets together.

As each base set and character deck is released I have added those cards to the total card pool, for the respective deck numbers, B&C, P&1, 2, 3 etc etc.

Would this be classified as a 'House' rule as it is not the intent for the base sets to be combined and it changes the balance of the game?

In the Wrath of the Righteous rule book on pages 2-4, it talks about, Card Sets, and on Page 6 there is the sidebar: Rules:Compatibility with other Sets and then on page 17 , in the 'After the Scenario' section talks about the cards you add to the box, once you successfully complete an adventure.

I find this confusing as I am not sure which of these sections takes precedence.

My limited understanding based on Mike Selinker's comments at GAMA, was that Fall 2016/2017 was the release window. So we are looking at December, January, February.

While that seems so far away, Apocrypha should be available mid year (hopefully). Which will give some of us a new game, with new characters, locations, mechanics etc etc to play with.

So to summarise, in OP you can play any character that has a Class Deck, such as:

Paladin, Monk or Druid.

You can not use a character, that does not have class deck (unless unlocked), such as:

Adowyn Hunter
Crowe Bloodrager

No one in my group has ever played OP, but we are considering it while we wait for Mummy's Mask to be released.

We did not realise there were any character restrictions.

I will finally read through the OP rules, but could you please confirm there are Character restrictions and offer any insight as to Why?

In RoRL, S&S and WotR we made the following house rules:

A. After the scenarios has ended and we are rebuilding our decks, if you have a boon you don't want, shuffle it back into the box; and
B. Basic cards are always available to rebuild your deck with.

This makes PACG more fun for us.

That is the wonderful thing about PACG, there are rules, but they can be bent or ignored and you still get a great game.

I have not found it to make the game too easy as we have multiple games were we scrape in with a couple of Blessings left and have that awesome experience of needing to make a roll and succeeding by the skin of our teeth.
Also in our current S&S play through we have already had two deaths (Jirelle and Damiel) on the B adventures and we failed the Ghost Ship scenario (2-5).

So , play the game but make sure it's fun for all your players.
