Zereletan (MM4)

Pathfinder Adventure Card Game General Discussion

I was going to ask if his traits were correct since they don't match the picture and the only nagas with which I'm very familiar are the ones in S&S. Then I read about Royal Nagas in the prd being shapechangers with humanoid heads. (Seems kind of freaky to have a snake-bodied human-headed ally along with you). Will someone recount Zereletan's story?

There isn't a whole lot to say.

Mummy's Mask RPG AP:
Zereletan is a character the PCs meet during the exploration phase of Secrets of the Sphinx. If they're nice he gives them a fetch quest. As their reward, they might get a side quest plot item. Alternatively, they might kill him and get the plot item that way.

::shrug::

Lone Shark Games

Zereletan is a royal naga, who actually most interacts with the PCs while shapechanged into humanoid form. He cares for a temple of Sarenrae, and asks the PCs to retrieve his lost crown.

His normal form has five heads, and he can shapeshift into a different humanoid for each of the five heads.

Thanks, guys. So does each head allow a royal naga to shapechange its entire body into a different form, or does the head only change and not the body?

Lone Shark Games

Entire body. See Royal Naga's Change Shape ability:

Change Shape (Su)

A royal naga can use this ability to take one of five specific humanoid forms. Each of these forms has a unique appearance (such as a female dwarf with red hair, an elderly male human, and so on) and the naga can only use this ability to assume these five forms. The naga can still use its dual gaze in humanoid form.

Okay, so it wouldn't look strange to have one of those tagging along with you.

No stranger than fighting a Fire Hydra in a Surgery
