Yep, it was a good time. I did not particularly care for the super swarms, but it made for unusual excitement. Thanks to everyone for the game and especially our GM. I look forward to opportunities to play again with you all in the future.

It was also good to find out the history behind the dislike of Torch. He always just seemed grumpy. But I guess sinister will be the impression from now on.

Oops! I thought that Cuethric was neutralized by it. In that case, he will come out of delay and shoot at purple.

Cuethric can't see anyone to attack. Purple is concealed from him. "Could we loose the fog, please? I can't see to shoot." "I think it is helping the guards more than helping us."

Cuethric glances at Malaz, he starts to say something back, but thinks better of it. The axe cleaver looks like it would really hurt and Cuethric does want to find out for sure.

Man, I really am having mixed feelings here. I would like to finish but I don't think I will find any game to replace this one.

I never really knew why other pathfinders who had played a while did not like Grandmaster Torch. I only started playing in season five and I never had high level guys until just recently. Now I am starting to get why they didn't like him.

Anyway, killing his men will be interesting and different, they usually just intimidate my character's party. Will I still owe him a favor?

Anyone know why we should stay and fight? Killing a former pathfinder VC can't be good for your pathfinder carreer.

Cuethric, confused but angry, decides the only variable that has changed is Ouidda. "I don't know what you have done or how, but you tricked us. You shall pay for this treachery."

He steps over to shoot over the foo dog at Quidda. He fires two rapid arrows.

What in the world just happened? If Cuethric gets up, he is going to put two arrows right into Ouidda's back. Did Torch just signal his men to attack a group of pathfinders? To heck with the prestige points. Torch gets charmed? And we get punished for doing what we were asked to do.

Cuethric after applying the gag does a quick search of the room. he takes away all from Ouidda but her armor and distributes the items to the party. "Here hold this. You, hold this and someone take this...

"Ijo, keep an eye on her. Everyone, search the room quickly before we head out." "Remmy, once we are done, do your magic, but nothing fancy a struggle and a stabbed body that looks like her. I what to leave in 1 minute." "Lets move!"

We could take her back and put her in one of the barrels that the cheaters were standing on and say we are taking out the trash, through the kitchen to exit. Costumes to look like employees.

Most of my gameday sessions are very slowly picking up. Are we close to the end of this scenario?

I suppose we have to get out somehow. The costume room and some magic and maybe we tie her up and take her out as a drunk sailor or something. The other body could be used as a distraction. Or we just roll her up in one of those rugs and carry her out thru the kitchen.

What are the chances one of the other hallways leads to an exit? We could always ask her which one. Oh after removing the gag briefly of course.

Cuethric approachs and ties her hands behind her with rope. And then gags her with cloth. He pads her down for weapons and removes all he finds.

not exactly sure what fiery gaze does but if it allow Cuethric to view Malaz pound the invisible someone. Cuethric will fire two arrows into the area of the impact. Please penalize for cover or such.

Is there anything unusual about the double doors, any carvings or pictures, script or such?
Cuethric continues to step around the carpet careful not to touch it.
This reminds me of my AD&D days and the trappers that would close up around you as you walked through a room.
He peeks around the corner of the hallways before moving accross their openings. Still sneaking. Cuethric will make his way to the double doors. He looks to see if they are trapped. Then he will check if they are locked.

Cuethric heads back to the partically open door. He asks Zranashta to detect magic on the door and examines it. perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 26 looking for traps and secret doors on the walls of the room where the smarm mess happend careful not to touch the partically open door or the spider carving. "The spider is hiding somewhere. But where?"

Sorry, I don't have a scroll. I will add one after this scenario if Cuethric makes it out alive. Maybe 5 on one scroll. Because when you need one you probably need 2 or 3 or 5. Cuethric will reach into Remmy's bag hoping for the best. He will grab anything that feels like an alchemist fire. Then he moves to get beside Malaz.

Cuethric pulls oil from his haver sack and throws the flask at the burning spot Remmy created moments ago. Assuming he threw at swarm below the skeleton.

Cuethric has 40' of movement in one movement, but 80' with a double move. His motivation was to get out of the swarms. Stopping after 35' in between the swarm families is not a great position to be in. If I had known the extent of the difficult terrain, I would have double moved him to get to where he was in front of Remmy and not pulled out the oil with his second move action. I will understand if it is too late to recon.

Through gritted teeth and looking pale, Cuethric looks at his swarmed neighbor, "Got more of that acid or any other alchemical goodies. We are in a tough spot here."

Cuethric still under the effects of his longstrider spell moves 40' out and around the corner to just in front of Remmy. He then retrieves an flask of oil from is haver sack.
"I did not bring my bug killing kit." "Anyone got acid or alchemist fire?"

I really am not sure where the webs are but Cuethric hugs the wall all the way out of the swarm area and moves one square diagonal at the end for 40' as a move. Then uses a second move action to get the oil.

Cuethric shifts back, reaches into his haver sack and retrieves a alchemist fire.
He then throws it at the red approaching swarm of spiders.
alchemist throw at red's farthest corner: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22
dmg fire: 1d6 ⇒ 4 yellow should take 1 hp splash damage but I can't remember the DC reflex save.
"Well, that was that. Now it's down to running."

What does the 'web' do that Cuethric avoided enough to move. Is he entangled? I just want to know my limitations.

Cuethric gets impatient and starts looking for a way to open the secret door and possibly trying to peek into the room beyond.

Once he can figure out the mechanics, he starts counting down silently with his figures as 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1. He then opens door with the bow in his hand.

Cuethric glides over to Malaz, "Anything?", he whispers pointing at the 'not hidden' hidden door.

Cuethric pulls out an arrow and readies for anything once the door is opened.

Cuethric signals back waving the group forward and puts his index finger to his lips for 'quietly'. He mouths the words 'secret door'.

Once he gets some head nods from the group, he sneaks forward again looking for traps heading for the slightly ajar secret door.

I am hoping Remmy unlocked the door. Else we are in for a rough time. If you try more then once on a door you get the worst of the enemy on the other side for the start of the encounter. The enemy is buffed and you can't even get through the door

He straightens up a peeks over his shoulder through the door way into the beyond.
