"Hey, its BELLY RUBBER who is in trouble! Why didn't you say so?"

With that, Brina leaps into action, moving up to the nearest skeleton and savaging it

bite: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28 for damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 (bashing)

Brina looks at Tobar, looks at the ominous, eerie, scary bunch of bones, looks back at Tobar, looks at the bones

"Is he crazy? I'll attack pigs or small green people. But walking bones? No!!"

She then retreats and, of course, grooms herself.

"Wow. its dark in here. I guess I'll have a nap in the entrance where I can still see"

Low light but no darkvision

"Go in there and what? Have a nap? Ok"

Brina twines herself around Jewel and makes happy chuffing sounds

"Thank you nice person. I like you. You make me feel good."

"Ow. And smell bad. Me KILL!!!"

Brina isn't happy about this and decides to revenge herself against the piggy.

At the mention of Badger Brina looks up, licks her lips, and then grooms herself

"Badger? They look like they're good eating. But I remember mama told me they can be dangerous"

Brina watches the children working with amusement in her eyes. Sometimes she plays with them, getting between their feet as she bats at leaves.

Sometimes she naps.

It is always SO much fun to watch somebody work when you have nothing to do yourself

Brina quickly 5 ft steps into position and rips into the ant

"I thought you were going to get him to drop the stick!! You LIED to me. Naughty human"

Brina grooms herself (she will attack anything trying to melee any of the children)

"Meow"

Assuming that 7 more points puts the ant down, Brina then grooms herself triumphantly

"Mrrrooowwwwww. Hissssss. Grrrrrrfgffff"

Brina has had it with this disgusting thing that DARES to hurt her. It MUST die

"I'd really rather guard you! And that Ant doesn't look very tasty. Are you SURE you want me to attack it? Ok, I guess so"

Brina looks back at Tobar, grooms herself quickly, thinks, and then reluctantly goes to attack the ant on the left

bite: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 3 + 1 = 6 for damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

"I'll save him. Ugh. Water. Wait, I'm the mighty swimming cat!!"

Brina jumps in after Tarjun and tries to pull him back. At the least, she pulls him to the surface

swim: 1d20 + 6 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 6 + 4 = 27

"Nobody bites MY people. They're MINE!"

Brina goes into a flurry against the spider, determined to protect one of HER children.

If possible, she'd 5 ft step into a flank

Brina bite attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21 for damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Brina claw: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7 for 2
Brina claw: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24 for 2
Brina crit confirm: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16 for 2

"Behold the MIGHTY LION ROAR!!!!!"

Tobar looks on impressed, not daring to shoot an arrow into the furball that is a spider and a cat

"Stupid people. Don't they know how well I can swim? I hunt fish, darn it :-)"

Brina nudges Tobar

Brina happily chases he goblin, at least to the point where it jumps into the water.

"Water? Water!!!!! Not going in there. No way!. Silly boy better not ask!!"

She then stops and, of course, grooms herself

"I LET him go. I MEANT to allow him to jump. Clearly"

"Me? He wants me to attack him all alone? The things that I do for that boy! Ok, but he is going to owe me LOTS of sausage. AND belly rubs"

Brina chases after the goblin, fairly quickly catches him (speed 50 :-))

While she goes, she feels herself getting stronger for some reason
Tobar gives her the aspect of the bull

to hit: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17 for damage: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 and attempts to trip the goblin trip: 1d20 + 1 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (7) + 1 + 1 - 2 = 7

"Green thing. Attacking us. I must kill it!!"

Brina suddenly transforms into a whirlwind of fur and claws and tries to kill the goblin

bite: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9 for damage: 1d3 ⇒ 3
claw: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19 for 1 pt of damage
claw: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16 for 1 pt of damage

Generally, familiars do NOT need to be trained. They are, after all, more intelligent than some PCs :-)

Brina very, very attentively listens to Tobar. Her eyes go large as she suddenly can see even better than normal

"Right, I understand. Go hunt a rabbit and bring it back to you after. I can find him REALLY well now"

With that, she disappears into the weeds. With her wonderful senses, she quickly finds a rabbit hole. And, good girl that she is, hunkers down watching the hole totally and utterly concentrating on it and ignoring everything else. She will wait until the rabbit comes out.

"What is he screaming about? Oh, time to play chase"

On the way back to the house, Tobar is passed by Brina who gets ahead, waits for him to pass, gets ahead again, pounces on him as he flees in terror, and then chases after him, arriving home before Tobar and casually grooming herself as he arrives.

Delete it and post it again? That should work.

Since she obviously completely and totally understands Tobar, Brina rolls over onto her back for the promised belly rubs.

I hope nobody objects to my creating a separate alias for the cat but I just couldn't resist :-)

"Light!! Must Chase!!!"

Brina leaps off Tobar's shoulders and pounces on the light. Unfortunately for her, the light suddenly moved and she misses

At which point, she sits down and grooms herself

"I MEANT to land EXACTLY here. Nothing to see. I totally did NOT miss what I aimed at"
