Validated, and thank you for running.
Cure Serious Wounds: 3d8 + 7 ⇒ (8, 8, 5) + 7 = 28 on Garret
Blanchbeak rushes over to Garret's side, "I'm coming, companion!"
Delay until further notice.
I moved after, and because, Garret healed me.
"You got it, Priest!" Maybe I was wrong about that one. He doesn't seem quite as bad as the rest of this planet. Blanchbeak rushes into the room and points to the enemy for his companions, "It's there."
I'm stronger and probably a better flier as well, so probably safer this way.
Blanchbeak sighs and says, "Cast the spell on me. I'm the one with wings, anyhow.
"I should be able to glide safely to the bottom if I fall, but no, I cannot fly."
I don't see anything in my arsenal that's terribly relevant :-(
"Yes, a good idea. I will also stick with this ammunition."
Unless I say otherwise, Blanchbeak is carrying the crossbow with adamantine bots loaded and a wand of true strike in the other hand.
The rude one seems to have this in hand! Blanchbeak keeps his crossbow trained on the remaining creature.
Delay
"I think we need adamantine for these metal creatures." Blanchbeak shouts as he changes the cartridge in his crossbow.
Between last fight and Burngar's attack this round, do I have enough info to make an educated guess that adamantine is better for metal creatures?
Blanchbeak casts a protective spell and moves back toward his companions. "Follow me, Garret. Let's draw them through the door one at a time."
Can't let that fool priest go off alone. The tengu quietly follows Garret, then puts a hand on his shoulder and holds it up in the air. Seeing the human wait, Blanchbeak peaks around the wall.
Right it is.
Blanchbeak takes his crossbow in hand and follows the dwarves from a safe distance.
I can't tell on the map: what entrances, windows, gaps, etc. are visible? I would like to do some scouting before we enter.
"I can't use any of those scrolls, and don't need the bigger items, but a healing potion or two would be useful." I wonder if we could sell any of these items in town, then buy something more useful.
"Most appreciated, friend," Blanchbeak thanks Garret, then turns to Floggentop, "Pharasma, please bless this creature with the power of your prophecy."
Blanchbeak points the crossbow where Wizzy just directed, but catches some feathers in the mechanism and jams it.
Blanchbeak stands up and aims his crossbow toward the door. "Does anybody know where the missing man was last?"
Where did I last see the magus, and what actions did I see him take?
Except that you start from a corner of your square, not the center of it.
Burngar Rockhard wrote: There's a polyline tool which will allow you to build them to scale. Found it :-) It's not as neat as I'd like--probably just my drawing skills--but it definitely works!
@Garret: As much as I'd love the healing, we were definitely 35 ft. apart. The space 30 ft. from me was blocked by a table.
Blanchbeak uses a wand, then moves back to where he can see the sorcerer. It's time to pay for your sins, woman.
Aarvid,
Can you please check that both my player and character are listed as active in the campaign info? For some reason I'm not getting updates when there are new posts in the gameplay thread.
@Burngar: When using circles and triangles, it works if you only count squares that are completely within the shape. That said, is there a way to get those templates of yours into Google Slides and make them transparent?
I'm a huge fan of the quickrunner's shirt for clerics. As long as your movement continues past the target, you can deliver the touch as a free action.
It looks like the channel hits everybody except Fandral and myself.
"Spread out and draw them in!" This is stupid, standing here for those fireballs. One more and I'm dead. Blanchbeak moves to the back of the room and takes cover behind the counter, exchanging his sword for a crossbow.
@GM: Robots are probably the only thing he can't identify. For one, I have all of the other knowledges trained. But second, Blanchbeak has never fought a robot before, so he can't make an educated guess either.
@GM: I don't have Knowledge (engineering) trained, so won't activate bane. Corrected rolls are 25 attack for 19 damage. Has anything caught fire that we know needs to be saved?
Which knowledge skill do we need to identify it?
Blanchbeak moves around the table to pin an enemy between himself and Fandral, then takes a sweeping slash at the man.
Same here. This is only the second time I've been able to post in like 18 hours.
Blanchbeak casts a spell and steps back from the bar, "Pharasma, Bless and protect thy soldier."
Blanchbeak casts shield of faith on himself and readies his weapon.
I don't see a map yet, so not sure whether it will be a melee or ranged weapon.
"Gout? Hmm . . . "
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (6) + 16 = 22
Do I think he is using us to do something bad and keep it a secret?
"I see. Well, if you all can't be bothered to share information with your fellow Pathfinder, then I'll just have to put up with all of your sinful behavior so that I can keep an eye on you."
Blanchbeak follows Wizzy into the shop, "Of course, any friendship that's for sale is next to worthless, so the price had better be cheap."
"So you all failed, and can't even admit it? Do I have to take care of everything myself?"
Blanchbeak gives his feathers a quick brush and opens the door to the church.
"Where is this dwarf, Brissa?"
"Well, did you get what we need? Or did this dwarf see through your lies and flattery?"
I am aiding by staying the hell away from Brissa and keeping my beak shut.
I just noticed that my character sheet hadn't been updated since level 6. The new one is up now, and the important thing to note is that each morning I burn two charges from the lesser rod of extend spell to cast delay poison on myself and greater magic weapon on my bastard sword.
My favorite PFS death was in #2-03: The Rebel's Ransom. 14d8 damage, no save, and you have to set the trap off to finish the mission. But there was a clue 3 hours earlier, in the description of something that you don't interact with, so it's all good.
"I must be Pharasma's most optimistic follower, to still be surprised at the complete lack of morality among most Pathfinders. I suspect you would find yourselves more at home in the Aspis Consortium, but in the end it is Pharasma's judgment you must face, not mine."
Blanchbeak stares pointedly at Burngar and Fandral, then shoves both hands in his pockets and turns his back on them, "Of course, it is my sword you will be needing to help you delay your meeting with Pharasma."
