I have bad news. RL is calling, so I won't be able to be on for quite a while, so I am going to have to withdraw for now. I apologize for the sudden departure and hope you all had fun. It was great to be in such an OP, open-ended game while I was. Thank you.
Bage flinches as he is suddenly struck by the being's strange attack. So fast, Bage thinks, unable to react in time. However, the attack officially put it the creature in the 'to be defeated' category, so Bage decided to act in kind. "Well take this!" Bage shouts, gathering power to attack. He then releases a beam of energy directly at the creature.
While the others began to try and control the moving masses, Bage decided that helping VK with the demon-like being above would be more prudent. Of course they're way up in the air, though. If I try shooting a beam from here, they'll just retaliate and hit the city if I dodge. Saiyans could fly, though, so shouldn't I be able to? Hmm... Trying to concentrate his powers as he did when fighting, Bage focused on the thought of flying and was quite startled when he did lift up off the ground. After a few cartwheels and some laughter, Bage started to get the hang of it and rose up to the midair standoff. Staying a bit behind VK to let him handle negotiations, Bage focused his power and went super saiyan, letting his glowing aura and presence be a silent intimidating factor.

When did we take this city of illiterate beings under our wing of protection? Bage idly thinks to himself as he watches the drama unfold.
"And now we face Armageddon. Does this world know no peace?"
"The Floating City," Bage murmurs, staring at the structure.
"I'm having flashbacks of my desk job back on Earth," Bage mutters to himself.
Bage drags his feet, but follows after the group. Not that we're still all together anyway, though.
Ah, no. Don't get the authorities involved, Bage silently pleads. We're never going to finish our meal, are we? By now, his irritation is beginning to fade into resignation as he watches the bird god start to draw more and more attention.
Don't worry, Kei. We'll make sure we send them your way. Take out two with one throw and all.
Bage stands there even so, not budging as his eyes watch the group.
At first Bage was hoping it was going to be solved as a simple misunderstanding, but things were still escalating. Bage slowly stands up from the table. "Look guys, we just had to deal with killing a few demons, converting a horde of trolls, and scaring off a huge balrog today," Bage states angrily, already reverting to the 'balrog' title as the other slips his mind. "Now, I'm still very hungry, and I would like just a bit of peace and quiet so I can enjoy a quite excellent meal. So make peace, hold it off for a bit, or I'm going to have to find a way to pay this good bartender back for an obliterated tavern," Bage says, directing it at the two strangers.
Bage wasn't sure where the sudden change in mood came from, but he slowly puts down the leg of meat he had been chowing on. "We can't even go one meal without a fight," Bage comments, though he is tense and ready to join should one begin.
Bage nearly sprays the food out of his mouth as the two begin to butt heads. Dinner and a show. Nice, Bage thinks as he begins yet another plate.
"We're also well-versed in Earth, even if it was a prison planet," Bage points out.
"Seems like someone has found their favorite," Bage comments from the side. "Never thought an elf would work for a dwarf, though. Guess I'm Tolkien-biased."
"Don't forget the standard courses of brawling and ale," Bage adds.
Nah, how about:
An epic title for an epic adventure.
Bage quickly waves a waitress over and orders a rather hefty amount of food. "Oh, thank God. I am famished. It's not everyday someone wakes up in a new body with super powers and fights a gaggle of monsters. Should we have sat over there in the 'dark corner' instead?"
"Alyssa has a point. Let's sit and have a talk to get our facts straight. Preferably over a nice, large meal. Besides, didn't you guys say the assassination has stopped since he's 'possessed' or whatever?"
"Another situation where we have no clue who is actually in the right," Bage comments. "I agree with Zaidel here. Let's find a bit of time to relax. We're in a fantasy world, afterall! There's probably so much to do outside of fighting! And on the off chance that this is all some kind of dream, well, let's live it up, right?"
We'll be here, but remember that RL comes first.
"That...sounds so wrong," Bage mutters at Saren's explanation.
"If everyone just dumbly follows whatever one says and that person is practically immortal, then...isn't that more of a dictatorship?" Bage comments to V.K. and Zaidel as they start to catch up. Bage is a bit hesitant to go through the gate so blatantly after the stir that had started, but decided that they couldn't cause any more trouble, Bage hurries after the elf king to stick together.
"Ah, no. No vampires for me. Not after Twilight anyways," Bage says, wrinkling his face at the memory. "The real problem will be the value of gold. We know neither the value of what gold we have, nor the value of items that will be in the market. Not to mention customs, licenses, or currencies. As travelers, we'll probably be stripped to our skivvies just trying to buy food."
Bage is slightly surprised to find that he can hear their conversation easily just by trying to tune in. Wicked one? Sounds dangerous. Maybe we can find information on him as well in town. He turns his attention to Kei's question. "Well, I took a short class in high school on electronics. The real problem would be manufacturing the parts for them. Not to mention reconstructing the binary code, etc. So I basically know enough to know that it is highly unlikely to ever happen. Unless you were to just wish for it with your ring or something. I wonder what the limits are for this thing. A manual for raising hydras, an actual pet dragon, a video game system." Bage snaps his fingers as something occurs to him. Raising his voice so Alyssa can hear him so far ahead of them, Bage almost shouts, "Maybe you can wish for proof that this is a dream or not with your ring?"
I want an overpowered GMPC for the party even compared to us. Now that would make for an apoctlyptic creature.
"Really, this is all just like the matrix. Woken in a world and being told we were imprisoned by thinking we were in another world called 'Earth'. We can even bend the rules here, apparently," Bage points out.
Bage pops his fist on his palm. "Unlimited food supply plus unlimited head regeneration. Training these things will be a piece of cake. Joseph cake."
For all interested, it's from the Baby Bestiary, a book chalked full of baby monsters and how to take care of them. The pics alone are enough to be worth the buy.

Hydra Babies!
Bage turns to Zaidel as they walk and asks, "So, you seem to know a lot about this...universe. Where can I get me a pet dragon? You know; to go with my hydra."
It seems this new person was taking the attention away from Bage's blunder, something he was pretty grateful for. That was rather embarrassing. Bage lets his gathered power loose and returns to his normal black haired form. Still cool, Bage thinks to himself. The questions fly at the new guy, and Bage soon finds himself filled with more at his answers. Thousands of years? Doesn't look that old at least. And how does he not know who he is after all that? "Thousands of years. Lamppost. Almost sounds like he's from Narnia or something," Bage comments, beginning to think aloud.
Snapped out of the mind control, Bage looks around quickly. "What just happened? Why was I attacking you guys?"
Yeah. Where would we be without our pet Zaidel?
As Bage's target shrinks into a simple elf, he pauses, accessing his next target as he gathers his power. Seeing the huge vulture fly past grabs his attention, and Bage turns to him. "Destroy," Bage states emotionlessly as he creates a ball of energy and blasts it at the bird.
Hmm. Is Bage still under enemy influence?
@Liriiestil: Oh...so my failed critical couldn't even succeed from the start. Anyway, the high AC is understood. Just pointing out a rather funny circumstance for Bage. Despite being turned, he's helping out the enemy even less than his team. :D @Yasss Queen: Even my rl games never came without at least one hitch.
Still fighting for the wrong side, Bage continues his attack upon the dragon. Dice Rolls:
So...28 damage from blow #2. It takes a nat 20 just to reach 58...with highest bab. I can't hit friend or foe!
Bage is focused on attacking the beast when he mind suddenly goes blank. Without any thought process, Bage turns at the giant red dragon that just appeared and flies at the beast, ready to take down the new threat.

Finding a bit of success, Bage begins to gather his power into his fist as he continues pounding away at the huge creature, hoping to find a weak spot.

If paizo simply hadn't decided to invest in goblins, maybe it would be easier to keep things running smoothly.
Beam me up, Scotty. ...Wait. Where's my leg?
Undainted by the demon's taunt, Bage continues attempting to get a good blow on the beast. "Well here's what I've got to say: You shall not pass!" [ooc]Flurry of Blows as a full-round, no power attack this time. Forget to add super saiyan stats last time, so oh well. Rolls:
Same here. Mobile seems a bit more stable for me.
Bage gawks at the fact that the massive energy wave was completely ignored. Seeing Kei using some kind of martial arts, Bage decides to join in. Time for some up close action.

"It's a balrog!" Bage shouts excitedly. "Let's see how it handles this." And with, Bage moves his arms to his side and begins to chant as he gathers his energy in his palms. "Ka-me-ha-me-HA!" At the end, Bage throws his arms forward and releases a beam of energy into the hulking figure.
