Able isn't known for his patience. It's why the Moon Clan never got him to learn how to shoot a bow. He does know however how to count, and he counts eight doors, not nine. He would not have been surprised if the door Saphera went trhough would have disappeared, ensuring the not disturbed assurance from the ledger. But the door doesn't disappear. Neither does Saphera re-appear.

since it doesn't matter for my attack bonus, and the target isn't undead, assume I'm doing non-lethal damage. If I can't flurry, add +2 to my attack bonus (to a total of 4)

Able has put away the and, that he had Saphera use for one dosage (healing 5 points of damage, bringing him at full health again), collected his thrown javelin, made a mental note to retreave his manacles later, and ran after his compatriots, only to see Kuaizi kick in the door, and Saphera run inside, and become shaken.
Knowing thta flying creatures have a advantage when they're airborne, he intends run inside to grab the one that is threatinging Saphera.

as an off hand remark, giving Saphera and the others a quick wink out of sight of their captives, Able wonders aloud:

Able also produces a 'happy stick' for he's slightly wounded as well, and lays it in view of Saphera with a questioning eyebrow. Furthermore, he hauls another set of manacles and chains out of his backpack, and starts interconnecting the two prisoners inside, making sure they're snug and safe. Safe for others that is.

Manacles can bind a Medium creature. A manacled creature can use the Escape Artist skill to slip free (DC 30, or DC 35 for masterwork manacles). Breaking the manacles requires a Strength check (DC 26, or DC 28 for masterwork manacles). Manacles have hardness 10 and 10 hit points.

I understand both Priddy and Saphera's reasoning, and I would like to share with them my view on these matters as well. But life IS a competition, and prowess must be shown, especially if this here team wants to know what's it able to do. And Able can do anything

Able, a big shoanti, wearing weapons and armor that look like he ripped it off the bodies of his beaten opponnents, is busy exchanging parts of his equipment around his belt and backpack, judging the utility of each item, and placing them at reachable pockets, discarding others, like chains and manacles into the backpack, although he opts foor the quicksnap manacles to be at his belt, as a sigg of his occupation.
