Exciting New Releases On Pathfinder Infinite

Tuesday, July 19, 2022

It’s been a while since we last shone a spotlight on the Pathfinder and Starfinder Infinite marketplaces—where community content creators can sell game supplements set in the Pathfinder and Starfinder settings—but that doesn’t mean there hasn’t been a lot going on there! We’re working closely with the staff at DriveThruRPG, who host both Infinite sites, to give more attention and publishing resources to community creators, especially members of the select Infinite Masters community (more on that below). First, let’s look at the top performers on the site last month!

June's Top Performers

Editor’s Note: Due to a miscommunication, this list originally featured only the top-performing titles from Infinite Masters. This has been corrected, and the following list reflects the top performing products in June from all Infinite publishers, listed in alphabetical order. Apologies for the confusion, and congratulations to all of June’s top community creators.

Abomination Vaults GMs Guide (P2)
In this book, GMs of the Abomination Vaults Adventure Path will find new mini-adventures that connect to the dungeon, new wandering factions, a checklist of all the side quest the campaign offers, and full stat blocks for every single monster on every single level of the megadungeon!

Boosted Bestiary (P2)
The Boosted Bestiary takes more than 60 creatures from the Second Edition Pathfinder Bestiary and updates them across multiple levels, giving you more than 200 new monsters. Menace your players with chimeras from level 2 to 20, drakes from level 0 to 14, shoggoths from level 6 to 21, and many more creatures at many more levels! Every creature has a description of its new role and gets level-appropriate powers.

Character Classes: Symbiote (P2)
Weaponizing disease and evolution, the symbiote literally grows the tools to guarantee their survival in any environment. (Standalone FoundryVTT module and PDF/module bundle also available.)

Curse of the Crimson Throne Second Edition Conversion Guide (P2)

Kitsune of Golarion: Foxfire Adepts (P2)
Kitsune of Golarion: Foxfire Adepts is an expansion of the character flavor and options introduced in Kitsune of Golarion penned by one of its original authors, only this time focusing on the famed foxfire of this ancestral group.

Kitsune of Golarion: Starspinners (P2)
An archetype expansion for Kitsune of Golarion, starspinners enhance and fortify their star orb familiars in special shells, launching them across the battlefield like telekinetic cannonballs of doom!

Lost Omens Ancestries: Dragonkin (P2)
Lost Omens Ancestries: Dragonkin presents a new versatile heritage that allows characters to tap into their draconic potential to breathe fire, grow deadly claws, take flight with powerful wings, and more.

Infinite Masters

The Infinite Masters is an invitation-only cadre of the most active and influential members of the Pathfinder and Starfinder Infinite community, whose work consistently sets the standard for quality and professionalism, and who receive early access to official Paizo releases in order to support them with Infinite content as close to release date as possible. We’ve just invited a new slate of community publishers into the Infinite Masters program and look forward to introducing them soon.

In the meantime, check out this amazing fiction bundle from Infinite Masters Vanessa Hoskins and Helen Savore, celebrating the June release of the seventh chapter of their ongoing Vellum and Lace serial; former Starfinder Design Lead and Infinite Master Owen K.C. Stephens’ “missing” feats chapter from Starfinder Galactic Magic; and Solarians of the Inner Sea, bringing the Starfinder class to the world and rules set of Pathfinder Second Edition.

More Resources Coming Soon

As the Infinite programs continue to grow, we’ve heard a lot of feedback from creators looking for more resources, and we’re happy to oblige. In the coming weeks, we plan to release more art packs to help community publishers make content to support our major new releases, including Starfinder Drift Crisis and the Blood Lords Adventure Path. We’re also looking into adding AP-specific filters to the site so that GMs running a given campaign can quickly find community content geared specifically for them. It’s an exciting time to publish or shop on Pathfinder and Starfinder Infinite, and the future is going to be even more so.

One thing: The link for "Infinite Classes: Solarians of the Inner Sea (PF)" just goes back to this blog.

Hey folks,

Apologies, but there was a miscommunication when we were putting together this list of top performers, and it's only including the top Infinite Masters products at the moment.

I'm going to revise the blog tomorrow and correct that, because our top performer deserves the accolades for their achievement.

Look for a revision to this blog tomorrow.

I can't comment on the quality of all the listed products, but there is not a single Starfinder product listed, could it be possible to maybe list at least 5 things from each system? PF2 is great, but so is Starfinder and right now it feels like one system seems to get showcased exclusively (I realize that fantasy likely sells more than the genre Starfinder is in, but I feel like that's a better reason to showcase products that have gotten traction).

And while I personally do not play the cardgame, it might be nice to have that one featured as well.

Speaking as a Pathfinder Infinite creator with a number of Starfinder Infinite product ideas who tries to make my love for Starfinder as well-known as possible, I disagree.

Only one Starfinder Infinite product was released in the month of June. The Card Game had none. To present a minimum number of products across each subprogram feels really discourteous to the 24 PFI Pathfinder Infinite products releases in June.

If you want Starfinder Infinite to be better-represented in the sales, go to the website on your own and support the few products there are for it, and put your own out. Be the change you want to see.

To give you an idea, the count of Infinite products:

PF: 334 (PF1 94, PF2 288, numbers don't add up because some products are tagged as edition-agnostic)
SF: 82

That feels like a higher ratio of releases than official Starfinder to Pathfinder products, and many infinite products are intended as supplements to recent releases...

So do PF2 releases, and Paizo knows how exactly each product line is selling.

They do now as I understand it.

Thanks for putting out this list! I'm really excited to see my products doing well!

It's not exactly encouraging knowing you have to outsell Pathfinder to get Starfinder infinite content noticed.

Do any of the top 10 selling Starfinder infinite titles outsell any of the top 10 pathfinder titles?

spoiler Starfinders only:
If it is a competition to get noticed then, best to post all new infinite titles on the first of the month to get as many sales as possible during that month.

Thank you for your feedback. As our Infinite program grows, along additional internal capacity to promote it, we can evolve how we feature products. Both Pathfinder and Starfinder deserve the spotlight. Adventures Ahead!

I imagine Paizo's ability to evolve will be even better once Starfinder Interstellar Species comes out with the evolutionist class. Can't wait to see how the evolutionist turned out!

I know overnight sales on Starfinder Infinite are up, I haven't had time to read all 7 things I bought but a quick read through a few of them is very promising! I've bought a few in the past as well. But honestly don't think to look there often on my own, which is why these blog posts are so useful.

I've bought a few things on there for Pf II and SF, but not quite what I'm looking for.

I don't really need more new, revamped or old class stuff from PF I days. BUT PF I to PF II AP conversions you bet, and some hi res maps would be quite nice as well and adding some encou ters and things to some PF II AP's could work quite well.

Starfinder there is Horizons of the vast AP that is just begging to be expanded, from new cool random hex encounters to hi res maps to perhaps even taking the party to level 20 content even, now would'nt that be something many might be interested in.

Always wondered why paizo does'nt set up and have their own Infinite sub forum here, might help a lot to meet what the players and GM's want VS what all the third party devs might be doing.

Cheers

Tom

Starfinder and Pathfinder already have the "Third-Party Starfinder Products" subforum maybe just change that to "Starfinder Infinite and Third-Party Products" I subforum for advice on creating for Infinite, might be useful too.

Nice thought, forgot about that myself.

Thanks

Tom
