Someone fed it after midnight and it got angry.
I subconsciously strung these two together.
The gremlin in a box both did and did not eat after midnight.

Mikko, you're making assumptions about the nature of the cat and quantum physics, etc. You assume, for instance, that cat's own self-awareness matters at all. Which is valid, as the laws of physics as we know them would dictate that is the case, BUT the point of the experiment in a larger sense is how it applies to say electrons -- which only seem to get a position for their electron while being actively observed. Studied have yet to prove if cat's observing electrons "count" for the locating of an electron, etc... :D

Guys, we just gotta post in the Win32 file to win...right?
I was really excited to find out the Top 32 yesterday, when I wasn't working. Then I was exciting to learn today before I went into work.
Now I have to leave for work. :(

But you need to load it 32 times, over an old dial-up modem. The 14.4 variety... so first, we need to find one of those THEN we need to find a working landline, because it wont connect to the cellphones we all have, then....

Well, congratulations to the winners, and condolences to some of my favorite items that didn't make it (I'm actually stunned by a few of the ones not on there, but that's the problem with personal lists, y'know). I hope to see some of them on the critique thread, and in the meantime, I can't wait to see what these Top 32 come up with!

The Top 100 wont likely be available for a time, just like the Critique thread wont open for a bit.
