[SF2/ACE] 104 The Great Absalom Relay

"Hey Starfinder fans, it's Mimzy! Just meeting with my team as we get ready for the big mission!"

A skittermander in shotalashu armor backs into the room, smiling into the camera on her comm. She has purple fur and stands on four legs, using only four limbs as arms.
"Don't worry," she adds to the Starfinders behind her, "It's not a livestream. If you don't wanna be in this I can just edit you out." After a moment, she turns off the camera and turns around. "Hi! I'm Mimzalee, but they call me Mimzy."

For Spookyween, Mimzy is planning a spider costume. And a ghost. And the Primex. And a bat. And a human. She might end up as a ghost spider if she can't sort it out. She still has the wig on.

Jock Burtan arrives using a holoskin to create his Spookyween costume. He appears as a stereotypical pirate of romantic holovids, with a three-cornered hat, complete with a big curving feather, an ornate coat (modifying his freebooter armor appearance), a colorful sash and bandana, an earing, eyepatch (non-functional), and a peg-leg. His stellar canon looks like a blunderbuss, his plasma sword, a flintlock pistol, and his fangblade, a greatsword. Looking out of place, he also has a synth-sax at the ready.

"I be a Starrrrrfinderrrr! Ahoy and Avast. Jock Burrrtan be my name. I'll shiverrrr yerrrr timberrrs, whatever they arrrre."

Whoops, I posted that in Discussion. Which means I didn't even join the campaign.

Nobody else follow me.

Just FYI, I'm still very new to second edition so feel free to correct or suggest if it looks like I'm getting something wrong.

HI, everyone! I'm here too (signed up as 'mystery guest.' I'll need to make a new character for this, since my two existing characters are in games that are not over quite yet. I will get that done tonight or tomorrow, so hopefully I won't cause much of a delay.

Character is ready to go, including a stat block in the profile. I still need to get the header set up.

For this task I have Crafting +7, Acrobatics +6, Fly speed 20 that might be useful

I have played through this scenario a few times with other characters, so I will abstain from voting.

Feel free to look at Jock's profile for the skills he is trained in and any other abilities that might prove useful. In general, he is better at physical tasks then tasks that require knowledge or social skills. He is good at performance (plays the sax and acts) and knows a bit about religion.

If you’re worried about spoiling, but you still want to contribute, you can always approach this from the point of view ‘what would my character think? Would my character, based on the description, volunteer for this task or prefer something else?’

I'm sure some of us will have to end up doing things our characters are not great at before the end, but I do take comfort that anybody can still roll a 20. :)

I'm sorry, everyone, but I'm sick and probably won't post for a few more days. Please bot me. If you guys think Dorini would be best at a task, I would suggest one of the other players do the botting to allow as many people as possible to participate in the checks.
