Background:

Cuthalian was born and raised in Kyonin. His father was a forester for the elven forces during the later battles for Celwynvian. Losing a leg after having it crushed by a rock, Cuthalian’s father raised him on stories of fighting the dark elves, reclaiming the capital, and ending the surface elves’ shame. Cuthalian joined the ranks of the church of Ketephys at an early age. As directed by his father he chose the more militant side of the faith.

Shin’Rakorath was a byword in the Strongbow family. Their dedication to fight the blight of the dark elves was seen as a most noble cause. The opportunities were few but when he felt prepared, proper contacts were made, and recruitment was open, Cuthalian met the call. Cuthalian’s desire to see the dark elves ended was as likely the reason he was accepted as much as the abilities he brought to the fight.

Recently, he volunteered for the possibly suicidal mission into the underground. He fully intends to come home successful or to die on a mountain of dark elf corpses. Either one would be pleasing.
