This situation is a great opportunity to have Newt develop the in-game motivation for the already planned multiclass to cleric! :-)

On Time Out

The team return from their shopping trip and heals Angus with Infernal Healing, and the Pathfinder resume their exploration with caution, and open the door at the end of the stairs after checking for traps and stuffs.

A tapestry hangs from a frame against the south wall of this large chamber; it depicts an otherworldly vista where the souls of the dead, shepherded by strange beings, enter an ethereal river ambling through space toward a landscape dominated by an impossibly tall spire. Columns sculpted in the shape of Osirian warriors wielding khopeshes stand in all four corners of the room. The floor is tiled in a white spiral pattern on a black background, and this spiral pattern is repeated on the stone double doors to the north, east, and west.

The northern (up) and western (left) doors are locked.

East door is where you come from, from the stairs (a.k.a where you fought the sand serpent thing)

Angus wakes with a start as the healing slowly ticks away.

He makes a gross face and looks up, ”Ugh, that’s nasty. Is that the healing potion? Feels gross and.. evil maybe? I mean, I ain’t complaining, it’s probably the only flavor they had. Anyway, thanks for the assist. Did we kill whatever that was?”

Once he enters the room he focuses on sketching the map he is working on and making drawings of the spirals, ”Gimme a few before moving on, gotta get this all recorded. Maybe take your time and search the room and doors while I draw?”

He is waiting to move in until at least two PC’s go first.

Newt stows his new items. When the cleric is healed and wakes up he lets out a sigh of relieve.
"I'm glad that you are back on your feet, Angus!"
He murmurs another short prayer.
"Thank you, Cayden Cailean. I will keep my promise - after this mission I'll go to your temple and ask to become a priest."

There's no trap, but there is yet another locked door behind the first locked door, and I would just say you opened both.

After a few locked doors, Newt discovers a room bigger than all others. The center of this large octagonal room is a raised square platform a few inches above the floor, with a stone pillar at each corner. A gold-trimmed sarcophagus sits in the center of the platform, flanked by two statues of humanoid beings with canine heads, each of which holds an ankh in one of its crossed arms. Stone double doors exit the room to the north.

You have seen it enough to recognize that the statues are the images of Anubis.

Upon seeing Newt's wand, Jezebel gets an odd look in her eyes.
"One of the Pit's most popular temptations, if I'm not mistaken; here, let me try that...."

Sure enough, the wand comes to life in Jezebel's hand, who is able to use it to save Angus!

From where you guys at, the northern doors appear to be stuck closed. You also found two secret door on the opposite side of this room, east and west (marked with red S)

What's more interesting is that, one of the torch holder on the southwest wall of the room seems to be some sort of a hidden lever that can be pull down. What does that may do though, you don't know yet.

Besides that, if you trust your ear, you think you are hearing the sound of rivers nearby. Yes, RIVER, in the middle of the Osirion desert, underground!

Angus scoots up a little closer to the entrance and keeps drawing, "Sounds good, anyone gonna go in and check those things? I sure ain't after the last time. I also don't think I will go last anymore so no one can sneak up and take me out. Being almost killed instantly isn't as fun as one may think."

Newt noticed that the platform in the center of the room AND in front of the western door are trapped with pressure plates, but it's unclear what do they might trigger. He catches that before he or Jezebel step foot on it and managed to stop themselves just in time.

After the standard door-checking procedure (from afar), you now realized that, although both secret doors themselves are not trapped, the western door (left) is locked with a simple lock Disable Device DC 20, and the eastern door (right) is unlocked.

"This dungeon is full of traps. We should be extremely careful. Hm... maybe that torch holder disables the traps? I'm not an expert, though... Let's check out the eastern door first."

The fighter moves in front of the door and draws his sword and shield.

On Time Out

The eastern door leads to a small room. This small room is filled with human-shaped bundles wrapped in linen. Each wears a small medallion around its neck. The medallions around their necks are small wooden holy symbols marked with Pharasma’s spiral.

Ryan and those who can take 10 and get a 15 on Knowledge(religion/local/history) can tells that those are probably the slaves that were used in constructing this tomb, killed to protect the tomb’s secrets when it was completed. And the slave's room have no treasures of any kind.

Angus moves back to the entry hall and adds a positive note, "And we can pull your body back if something kills you."

Ouita accepts the body recovering ropes, and once the group was adequately positioned, she moves that tempting scone. What is the worst that could happen, she thinks.


On Time Out

As Ouita pulls the lever, a muted mechanical click echoes through the room. The pressure plates give a faint shudder, then settle into stillness. Though their surface remains unchanged, a closer inspection reveals the faintest seams where hidden locking shafts have slid into place.

No matter how much weight is applied, whether by a cautious step, a daring leap, or a full-body slam, the plates just refuse to budge. The trap, whatever it may be, seems to be disarmed.

Now, the locked door await with DC20 Disable Device.

...a right-hand turn. A short hallway that ends at a flight of stairs. The stairs descent to a door.
