I'm still here. it sounds like Zashodu is taking a long trip starting tomorrow. At one time K=Jazz was having computer issues, I think, not sure if that got fixed or not. It feels like this encounter could be near the end, it's been a very interesting and fun adventure, hope we at least get to see what happens, even if it takes some hand waving to get there. Not sure if it's just the time of year or because SF2e is out soon, but it seems like all the games I'm in or running have slowed down.

I'm really enjoying the game. I have to apologise for my lack of response lately - I've started a new project at work, which requires a lot of time and energy, leaving less over for contributing to the game (also the reason I'm not running anything at the moment).

I will be spending time vacationing with the family next week. I expect to be able to post, but my schedule may be erratic.
Feel free to bot me as necessary.

I went ahead and reported the third chapter. We're going to be done on approximately the deadline, if not quite by tomorrow.
(Heck, we'd be done already if Amnieka's opening area spell had gone a little worse--I've heard the final fights in playtest adventures are sometimes overtuned on purpose, to put the test PCs to the test. Technically she's a level +3 solo boss, but she did have that one 4th-rank spell...)
A little funny that the SF2 playtest games give AcP and GM credits for SFS1. Most of my SFS1 GM credits are SF2 games.

I think the big reward for PF2e players during the playtest was getting access to some of the SF2e ancestries to play in PF2e. Playing in the play test also gives you access to back grounds in the Invasion’s Edge Player’s Guide. But I can see it being disappointing to get ACP somewhere you are not likely to use it. I plan on or hope to keep playing both editions of SF. My guess is when the play test started they din't have a way to track SF2e ACP yet.

I think my vertical diagram concludes that Baby is just out of reach of Laurel's 15-cone:
L = Laurel
B - Evil Baby
B0 = 10 feet above
000 = 5 feet above
000L = 0 feet above
Drat!

The playtest gives rewards for all three. AcP (and GM credits, apparently) for SFS1, ancestry access for PFS2, and backgrounds for SFS2.
