Hello! Welcome to my table. Before we start, please do the following:

Please complete the macros linked at the top of the page. This will be used for initiative and secret rolls.

Please also post your token to the slides and post your position in the marching order. The slides are also linked at the top of the page.

As per the Organized Play Foundation Community Standards, each player must decide if they will allow their characters to be damaged by friendly fire (usually via splash damage). In keeping with the “Explore, Report, Cooperate” motto of the Pathfinder Society, engaging in non-consensual character-versus-character conflict is prohibited. While accidental friendly fire happens due to missed attack rolls or other factors, players must obtain the consent of other players before deliberately including fellow PCs in damaging effects. This rule does not apply in situations where a character is not acting of their own free will, such as if they’re being mind-controlled by an NPC and forced to attack a fellow Pathfinder.

You may select a consumable item from the Pathfinder Provisions list. These used to be the school items you get prior to starting an adventure. This applies to Scenarios only. Quests and bounties do not receive provisions.

@Gm thanks for having me at your table! It is last high tier scenario that I am to play with Hopper, and I still like playing him ;)

@team, good to see so many friendly faces.

@Leo, @Patrick, @Fortiva, @Squash and @Jiki - I know each and every one of you! Hooray, it is great to see you all again.

Hopper is now lvl 11 and I will make sure to have latest Juggernaut/Drakeheart and Energy mutagen (since it was made pf legal). If someone wants a potion/mutagen or soemthing feel free to say so.

@Leo I think you could use Juggernaut which at lvl 11 gives +3 to Fort, +30 temp hp and Juggernaut to your fort saves (success counts as crit), it comes with drawbacks ;) but just offering. Energy mutagen is also interesting, but it gives weakness 5 to 3 energy types. If someone is bother by action economy for mutagens there is Collar of shifting spider allowing you to get mutagen on initiative for free (but halved duration). at this level 133 gold is not much.

Since Hopper is a bomber he can restrick splash to the target, and above all despite being a bomber he will not be throwing that much bombs ;) In the past Bottled of Lightning would be great for Rogues, but since Fortiva has gang up, it is not that critical, off-guard still benefit others, but since Hopper is also a cavalier and Wolfie has plenty of move he can almost always flank with others.

I appreciate the post Hopper. I have mixed feelings about that juggernaut elixir. That -2 to will makes me wince. But, it is because of metamamey reasons. So, I'll go for it.

As for Leo, he is a base wizard but he has champion and Cleric archetypes. With those he can Glimpse of Redemption and cast healing spells (from slots and his greater staff of healing). Our frontline (numbers-wise) doesn't look to be excessively hardy, so prepping accordingly might be wise.

If you all have suggestions for his prepared spells feel free to speak up.

Lastly, Leo benefits greatly from Haste in case anyone is focusing on support. He can cast it on himself though, so it isn't pivotal that anyone do it for me. That said, Haste train casting can be quite effective.

Overall people dislike mutagens, and i don't blame them ;) Overall the drawbacks are brutal, and mutagens are situational. However the drawbacks for the most part do not scale (Juggernaut at lvl 1 gives you -2 to will/perception, at lvl 11 as well ;)) but bonuses do. At lvl 11 it gives +3 to fort, plus 30 temp hp which can be something ;) I am offering mutagens simply that now there is a way how to inject them for free (well for price 133.99 ;))

For the frontline, it is not that bad ;) Squash is a monster with 10-15 ft reach, aoo and he usually comes into the fight enlarged. Hopper + Wolfie has in total 250 HP, Wolfie has a bite of 2d8+8 and knockdown, and Hopper fights dirty by using poisons on his blade (which I can also make for someone else if one is usin slashing/piercing weapons ;) At this lvl I have Blisterwort

Overall my goal is to use as much of benefits: Elixirs, Poisons etc with optimal use of actions: since poison does not have duration when it can stay on the blade: I apply it right after daily prep + after each fight, use of collar to get free apply of mutagen, if I know that I will go into the fight: chug on elixir (which stacks and have no drawbacks: bravo's brew + 2 to will, eagle-eye +3 to perception, cheetah for extra move speed, mistform for concealed).

At this lvl he has 15 reagents with 3 that he spends on the bombs, 2 on poisons, 4 on elixirs/mutagens which still leaves 6 reagents ;)

Fortiva has run both drakeheart and juggernaut in the past - and still has a couple left that she hasn't burned through, but they're all lesser or moderate.
I think the former is only good for the perception bonus and final surge (which can be awesome, tbf) now that she has a +2 rune on the armor.
Whereas the recruitment for this mentioned mind control, so -2 Will is a 'dangerous' aspect of the juggernaut, even if 30 temps is tempting.

Squash is happy to try anything once. He's a fairly basic leshy fighter with a cold iron crushing maul with grasping reach and lunge. He does have the demon bloodline sorcerer archetype and knows the bloodline spells (fear, enlarge, and slow) but his save DC isn't that great so best used on the minions of the battle. He also has a returning silver hammer tucked in his gourd in case we fight things vulnerable to silver or a ranged option is needed (though his dex is lacking).

I could grab a few scrolls of emergencies since he is a divine spellcaster but I am looking to save up about 2700 gp for weapon upgrades during the next 2-3 scenarios.

So, my thoughts on the Diplo/Decep exploration activity:

Based on the minimal information, I would suspect that failing or crit failing will result in straight damage. As we do not have a dedicated healer or a preponderance of healing, this is likely something we really want to avoid. As such, I think that our best bet is to try and utilize folks with the highest modifiers that have hero points.

According to his sheet, his bonus is 16 pre level bump. Which means the first roll would have been a fail and not crit fail, right?

I'll post my turn under the assumption that he didn't crit fail, but spoiler if he did.

With rugged mentor (+2 to saves instead of +1, assuming that was picked), the 23 is 25 vs 28 and the 22 is 24 vs 33.
So Patrick would be wobbly but conscious.

If other boons were taken, it's as written - 75 damage plus ongoing once his turn finally comes around.

OK. I better work this out properly. Patrick is getting a level bump and can benefit from TWO mentor boons.

The level bump makes the following changes - which are NOT reflected in Patrick's current header. AC, DC's and modifiers go up by one and hit points increase by ten. The header changes to hp:81/81 | AC:26 | P:15 : F:15 R:17 W:17 | DV | HP:1/3 | SA+18 DC 28

Applying both mentor boons, Spellcaster & Rugged, changes the header to:
hp:81/81 | AC:26 | P:15 : F:16 R:18 W:18 | DV | HP:1/3 | SA+18 DC 29

This means the saves are now:
ref: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (7) + 18 = 25 v DC 28 - fail
ref: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (6) + 18 = 24 v DC 33 - fail, not crit fail

Hence Patrick takes 54 points of fire damage leaving him at 27/81 i.e, smoldering but still up.

This is why i tend to make both gish and straight spellcasters. It is more likely that basic Reflex spells do at least some damage.

Though, I suspect the new Gang Up is going to be valuable as it now allows allies to benefit from OG.

I'm skipping gameday myself, as well. I originally grabbed six or seven spots on the day the signups opened, and the psychic backlash from mentally juggling all of that convinced me I need to do less pbp. :shrug:
