'Thinky-thunkys and crummy-tummies'?! Either this guy's a doofus or he's a moron! Well, the Joros are all rather doofy, but this one could be both. Outraged on behalf of (and seriously concerned for the well being of) the patients here, Anock sets about ascertaining just how incompetent this Joro is. First step: What's his job title? It's not great for a receptionist to be medically illiterate, but they're not the ones treating patients. "I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name. I'm Anock. My job is to knock some sense into people who need it. Metaphorically speaking, of course." She gestures to indicate a humorous intent. She is at least partly joking, after all: Anock has never physically struck anyone on the head (that she can remember).

Another Joro, wearing a loose shirt with a rabbit print similar to the appearance of the robots and carrying a clear plastic bag with yarn and needles, walks down the hallway. Waving to Pharmacist Joro, they say "Why not give them a chance? Surely learning some new techniques would be good."

You think you hear them mumble "And I don't have to be here for it, since I'll be at the game!" as they head out the door.

Mizzrym's initial attempt doesn't seem to sway Pharmacist Joro much, but after a bit of convincing, they seem to soften. "Well... I guess it can't hurt for you to look. Just be careful, and don't touch anything without talking to one of the staff first."

With that, the Starfinders can enter the patient's room. The occupant is a draelik who is currently unconscious but stable. An IV with a half-filled bag is attached to one arm, and while most of their skin is covered by a blanket or their gown, you can see signs of blunt force trauma.

As you examine them, you can see other Joros wandering the halls. They peek in to see what is going on but do not comment or interfere with you. Most seem to be dressed as the first two you noticed, either as doctors or nurses. You also see a small maintenance robot.

Medicine DC 17:
The sedative dose is too strong for a draelik. It will definitely keep them from regaining consciousness, and could over time cause harm, if it is not reduced.

"Hm." Anock muses as she beelines to the IV to check its contents.

"Oh my goodness!" Anock yelps in alarm. "The dose on this sedative is too high for a draelik! They'll *never* wake up this way, and permanent harm will result from prolonged exposure to this dosage level. Who ordered this? And who executed it? Get the doctor and nurses who've been attending this patient in here now!" Having talked herself from alarm to righteous outrage, Anock decides to deal with the obvious signs of blunt force trauma after this poor drealik's life is saved- by her, of course.

Not long after Anock's outburst, a trio of Joros enter the room. They may be the pharmacist and the doctor and nurse you saw before, though it's still hard to tell. The one that looks like the doctor begins asking questions, and the nanocyte repeats her explanation of what is happening here. After some brief back and forth, Doctor Joro agrees to adjust the dosage of the medicine. You immediately notice some improvement to the patient, including some muscle twitching, but think it will be an hour or so before they regain consciousness.

Nurse Joro cheerfully thanks you for the advice - probably more cheerfully than you would if someone showed up at your job and told you what to do - and heads back out with the other two.

And for no particular reason, I will need to know which Starfinder leaves the room first, when you reach that point.

As Irres settles down next to the draelik and the team debates the wisdom of smoking in a hospital, Mizzrym heads out into the hallway. As he does, the whizdisk mascots begin to change, revealing guns integrated into their arms. As the various denizens of the hospital gather to see what's going on, the robunnies level their weapons at the Starfinders.

The purple curtains provide cover. There are four large vid screens on the ceiling marked on the map with stars. They can be attacked, which causes them to fall, dealing damage to anyone within 15 feet as they shatter.

In addition to the two robots, there are groups of Joros who have formed to watch what happens. They provide soft cover and count as difficult terrain unless you succeed at a DC 18 Acrobatics check to move through them. The groups can be dispersed by damaging them, but doing so will incur Infamy. The patients and staff not part of these groups will not affect combat, so please don't shoot at them.

The groups of Joros move closer to the action. They do take Omega's advice not to stay too close to the rabbits (probably because they can get a better view. You see some of them pulling out datapads and taking pictures of both the Starfinders and the robots. Many are squeezing into the hallway to the south to see what is going on.

Omega shoots at the white rabbit, and the electricity seems particularly effective.

Irres takes a shot that is well wide of the robot behind the curtain.

I appreciate that it is written into the scenario, but saying that *not* healing someone is the equivalent of shooting them yourself (both giving infamy) is ridiculous :-/

Omega dodges the worst of the blast, but doesn't manage to stabilise the injured Joro, despite his best efforts.
