Hi, checking to see if anyone would want to play in a custom world inspired by Ptolus.
Phaeselis
Phaeselis. The City of Psionics. Founded by Alexander the Great in order to have a city where those of psionic talent could gather and practice their abilities in peace. It is a city built around a waterfall. Part Hellenic (or Greek), part Persian, part Phoenician (or Israelite), part (east) Indian.
Here people from all over the Hellenic empire come to practice their psionic abilities. The city has become a melting pot of ideas and cultures. The city is situated, geographically, on the Phoenix river. However, the city would be found in Lebanon if it actually existed.
Campaign Dynamics
The campaign will be using PF1 and Ultimate Psionics. The city is the city of psionics, not of psychics and benders. After all, discovered psychics (those that are created with the PF1-OA rules) are forced to participate in a psionic duel. IF they loose, they are to submit to a Mind Seed, being converted to a psion or psychic warrior. IF they win, they are banished to Alexandria Eschate -- the outer reaches of the Empire.
So you will be able to create characters using PF1 Core Rulebook or Ultimate Psionics.
You can create a character from races in:
* PF1 Core Rulebook
* Advanced Race Guide (Nagaji and Lizardfolk)
* Ultimate Psionics (Elans and Maenads)
Class selection can come from:
* PF1 Core Rulebook
* Ultimate Psionics
Note: if you want to play a monk, please know that due to the period and world you are playing in, the Monk class has been renamed to the Athlete class.
My wiki (Phaeselis Wiki) has a lot more information. Please note, that I plan on updating the information on WorldAnvil.com ... and some information is dated. Despite what is said on the wiki, this game is LGBT+ friendly.
Tech would be Middle Iron Age. The Greeks still use bronze for their armor. Adventures will take place around 250 to 200 B.C. Rome is stirring, but not quite a world power yet.
Characters will start at level 1.
Feel free to ask me any questions.

I am interested. I would like to play a human psion. How would you like characters created? Or is this not at that point yet?
Sorry, I must have omitted that by accident.
Abilities: 25 point buy
Traits: 2 traits
Gold: maximum starting gold.
Health: Max at first level.
Background skills: Yes!
Background: You may use Ultimate Campaign to roll up your background. If you feel that isn't enough, you may use Central Casting: Heroes of Legend by Paul Jaquays. Of course you don't have to roll up your background, though. I just need something to incorporate your background skills. I'd like to see a plot hook I could use, too!
Description: provide a short description of your character.
Personality: provide a short description of your character's personality.
That should be it.

I am interested as well. What kind of psionics are you looking for or can like a noob to them pick this up pretty easily?
Ultimate Psionics should be easy to browse through. I'm not looking for characters created with PF1-OA. Just try to keep your class selection to Psions, Soulknives, Psychic Warriors, and Wilders. There are a lot of options in Ultimate Psionics, including races. Just keep your selections limited to the races and classes I outlined.
The wiki goes into more detail, of course.

I am looking into doing a healing wilder, but I can not figure out how they heal really? Is it just the surge for 3 hp and that is all? Otherwise I have some of what I want to do

This might be the time to look into the Vitalist. If the Wilder can't do it, the Vitalist can.

Here is my character. depending on what EltonJ says to my questions, I might change a few things. I can post every day and usually do around 9AM EST. I might miss a few Wednesdays and Thursdays (my days off). I'm new to pbp and Pathfinder but have roleplaying for over thirty years and I'm a fast learner.

I have a few questions
A)Are you using Background skills?
yes.
B)Are you using the Elephant in the Room rules?
no.
C)Are you using Drawbacks?
no.
D)Are you using any campaign traits?
No. I didn't develop any. Pre-made campaign traits have to be approved by me, though.
E)What are the gods? Are they core pathfinder? Or Greek/Roman?
Uhm . . . There are many. Four different cultures are represented in the city. Greek (Hellenistic), Persian (Zoarasterian), Phoenician (Israelite), and Indian (Hindu). There are so many different religions that you are free to make up a religion to belong to. Although, since the city is built so that psions can practice their abilities in peace, you could say Jainism is dominate.
Just curious. :)
You're free to ask me any question about the setting you like.

Are the occupations listed jn the wiki considered to be traits, since they add a stat/story bonus?
Quote:You're free to ask me any question about the setting you like.
Sorry to repeat but still wondering about the Deadly agility feat? If the answer is no that's fine and I can adjust my character accordingly.

They can be considered a trait, yes. I haven't made the formal jump for them to be traits.

Nope, I can't allow other third party feats in this game.

I'm nor sure what time zone everyone is on and I'm on night shift but I wanted to do a quick post for now, I have my character fully created but I'm new to pbp so it's taking me longer to get it written out in a decent format on here. But just so it's out there I created a human nimble soul blade, Tisias Nothos, a messenger of the Autolycus crime family and follower of Hermes. I will post Stats and equipment later today, hopefully before cut off

I'm probably blind but where are the occupations listed?

Right here. It's at the top, past the contents. :)
Are we using the Pathfinder equipment or the ones on the Wiki? I thought it was PF and made the purchases accordingly.
You're using the ones on the wiki. Right here for others to know.

Is there Stats for the Items in the Wiki? Just looking for armor stats currently as a soulknife, but having weapon stats helps with future blade skills as well.

A linothorax is AC 15.
* A full panoply (Brestplate, helmet, hoplon, leather girdle, and greaves) is AC 18.
* A xiphos is considered a short sword.
* A Tian-Jian (Tai Chi sword) is considered to be a long sword.
Is there a weight on the linothorax? my soulknife isn't particularly strong and by ac 15 do you mean adds 5 to the base 10? what is the max dex?

I might still be blind but I don't see the cost for the hoplon and the leather girdle or arrows for the shortbow.

Class Features
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Psychic warriors are proficient with all simple and martial weapons, with all types of armor (heavy, medium, and light), and with shields (except tower shields).
Power Points/Day: A psychic warrior’s ability to manifest powers is limited by the power points he has available. His base daily allotment of power points is given on Table: The Psychic Warrior. In addition, he receives bonus power points per day if he has a high Wisdom score (see Table: Ability Modifiers and Bonus Power Points). His race may also provide bonus power points per day, as may certain feats and items.
Powers Known: A psychic warrior begins play knowing one psychic warrior power of your choice. Each time he achieves a new level, he unlocks the knowledge of a new power. Choose the powers known from the psychic warrior power list. (Exception: The feat Expanded Knowledge does allow a psychic warrior to learn powers from the lists of other classes.) A psychic warrior can manifest any power that has a power point cost equal to or lower than his manifester level. The total number of powers a psychic warrior can manifest in a day is limited only by his daily power points. A psychic warrior simply knows his powers; they are ingrained in his mind. He does not need to prepare them (in the way that some spellcasters prepare their spells), though he must get a good night’s sleep each day to regain all his spent power points. The Difficulty Class for saving throws against psychic warrior powers is 10 + the power’s level + the psychic warrior’s Wisdom modifier.
Maximum Power Level Known: A psychic warrior begins play with the ability to learn 1st-level powers. As he attains higher levels, he may gain the ability to master more complex powers. To learn or manifest a power, a psychic warrior must have a Wisdom score of at least 10 + the power’s level.
Bonus Feats: At 1st level, a psychic warrior gets a bonus combat-oriented feat in addition to the feat that any 1st level character gets and the bonus feat granted to a human character. The psychic warrior gains an additional bonus feat at 2nd level and every three levels thereafter (5th, 8th, etc.). These bonus feats must be drawn from the feats noted as combat feats or psionic feats. The psychic warrior must still meet all prerequisites for the bonus feat, including ability score and base attack bonus minimums as well as class requirements (like levels in another specific class). These bonus feats are in addition to the feats that a character of any class gains every two levels. A psychic warrior is not limited to combat feats and psionic feats when choosing these other feats.
Psionic Proficiency (Ex): A psychic warrior treats his base attack bonus as equal to his psychic warrior level for the purposes of requirements for psionic feats. Base attack bonuses granted from other classes are unaffected and are added normally.
Warrior’s Path (Ex): At 1st level, a psychic warrior chooses a path to adhere to (listed below). When first taking a path, the psychic warrior gains one of the two powers associated with that path. Powers gained from a path do not count against his number of powers known. When manifesting this power, called a path power, the psychic warrior can either choose to manifest it for no cost by expending his psionic focus, in which case it cannot be augmented, or he can choose to manifest it normally, in which case his effective manifester level for this power is treated as one higher than normal. At 3rd level, the psychic warrior gains the second power from his path. All of the above benefits apply to this additional path power.
In addition, the psychic warrior gains one additional class skill, as noted in the path description.
Path Selected: Mind Knight Path
You have sworn an oath to your order, and in exchange you have been trained in mystic techniques that allow you to summon a weapon from beyond time and space, while protecting yourself with the power of your mind.
Powers: Call Weaponry, Inertial Armor
1st Path Power: Call Weaponry
Skills: Autohypnosis, Diplomacy, Ride
Bonus Class Skill: Diplomacy
Trance: Beginning at 3rd level, while maintaining psionic focus, you gain a +1 competence bonus to your initiative. In addition, when wielding a weapon you gain through call weaponry, you gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls with that weapon. All of these bonuses increase by 1 for every four psychic warrior levels you gain thereafter.
Maneuver: Beginning at 3rd level, you can expend your psionic focus as a standard action to make a melee attack against two creatures adjacent to you. For every five psychic warrior levels you gain thereafter, you can make one additional attack against another enemy adjacent to you.

Leonidas is from a middle class family and was given his name after being born with an auspicious birthmark. He grew quickly into a power young adult and was educated and trained to join the army. Leonidas planned to join Athena's Pride hoped to earn a commission into the Silver Shields or even a member of the Companions. However his future was changed when he was approached by someone who offered him another choice: Service to the Empire in a way that was reserved for the few – 'reborn' as an Elan and to join the ranks of psychic warriors.
Elated at the opportunity for such a prestigious honor Leonidas opted to undergo the transformation. He now waits to see what grand plans life has for him...

I think, based on the way a professor carried the linothorax, it weighed only 20 pounds. But I'll research it for sure.

Born to a father that died in service and a mother that died in child birth, Tiasis was an orphan as a baby. As he grew older, his psionic powers manifested in the ability to conjure weapons with his mind. Discovered by a member of the Autolycus Crime Syndicate, he was brought in and trained at a young age. Showing quick wit and quick reactions, with a natural (and not to mention free) way to protect himself, he was employed as a messenger. Now coming to adult age, Tiasis is looking for a way to escape from a life of crime in anyway possible. As a devotee to Hermes, Tiasis is looking for more adventure, travel and hopefully land some (mostly) legal wealth to his name, so that his son may carry his name instead of nothos (literally "the bastard") instead.

Here is Nineteen Prime, Elan Cryptic!
Mechanically should be finished (hoping I made no mistakes!). While I will definitely brainstorm a more full backstory, a quick rundown goes like this:
Created as an Elan under the appellation Bradius wrought of Pellonius (the Elan who made Nineteen), he became a devout Pythagorean, and Nineteen learned his number while working as an investigator for the city watch during a particularly harrowing case of serial murders. Using Pythagorean theory and logic, then-Bradius became nigh-obsessed with the chase always feeling like he was just one step behind. Over time Bradius came to understand the killer was always one step ahead because internally Bradius wanted him to be, so the chase could continue just as 19 is a prime number always one step from being 20 a more perfect number given its association with 10.
Realizing it was his own desire for the continuation holding him back, Bradius admitted his fault to the Pythagorean congregation and accepted that his number is 19 and thus his fate. Being a prime number, Nineteen is adopted into the Prime circle which is as family thus Nineteen Prime. From here, he stopped allowing his nature and fate dictate the course of events and worked with his fellow investigators to discover the killer. And now that the case is closed, his mind itches for another pursuit. His fate will not allow him to sit idle for long...
Good luck, everyone!
