Led by their divine herald, Dhurus, the jinsuls of the Scoured Stars have spent the last year converting their ancestral homeland into a vast war factory. Unable to ignore the jinsul threat any longer, the Starfinder Society and its many allies undertake one final, decisive mission into the Scoured Stars to end the jinsul menace. While failure could lead to the death of countless sentient beings, the real threat lies with the divine herald Dhurus, who has undertaken a scheme to wake the hidden god of the Scoured Stars and ensure jinsul dominance of the known galaxy.

Luwazi Elsebo, First Speaker of the Starfinders, addresses the Starfinder fleet en-route to the Scoured Stars system.
“Starfinders, after two years of hardship following our devastating first foray into the Scoured Stars, we now stand taller than ever and are back to fighting form. Today, new recruits rally beside experienced agents and rescued veterans, coming together to form the most resourceful, prepared, and skilled organization the Pact Worlds have ever known. This newfound strength comes not a moment too soon, for the threat within the Scoured Stars is unlike any we’ve ever faced: a hostile military force known as the jinsuls, committed to our complete destruction. Stopping the Jinsul Hierocracy will challenge us more than anything we’ve done before, but what I’ve seen from our agents these past two years assures me that we are more than up to the task! Your orders will arrive shortly; for now, gather your equipment, finish your preparations, and send any messages you wish before we reach the Scoured Stars.”
Table GMs, you may start the Introduction!

Hundreds of Starfinder agents hustle throughout the loading docks aboard the ever-impressive and newly refurbished Master of Stars, the pinnacle of the Starfinder fleet. Junior agents hastily pack every docked starship with weapons, armor, spare parts, and provisions, while technical staff runs diagnostics on starship armaments and senior officers finalize f light formations and supply routes. Many Starfinders’ faces are dark with uncertainty, but the fiery resolve burns in their eyes.
Venture-Captain Arvin, a damaya lashunta man, emerges from the shifting crowd of activity, his expression hard with repressed concern. “It seems fate has made soldiers out of explorers. We’ve always prepared our agents to navigate danger and violence, but never anything like this. Still, there isn’t another organization in the Pact Worlds that I would trust more with this daunting task.” He pauses for a moment, then shakes himself back to attention. “Right, much left to do! There are still a few specialized tasks remaining that you might be able to help us complete.”
Welcome everybody! Game on, please introduce your characters as we complete a few set-up tasks.
Please let me know if you have any of the following boons:
- First Skirmish (Social or Starship): Society Scenario #1–13: On the Trail of History.
- High Society Influence (Iteration-177, Ally): #1–05: The First Mandate.
- Honorbound Allies (Starship): #1–04: Cries from the Drift.
- Iteration-177’s Attention (Ally): #1–11: In Pursuit

- Jinsul Witness (Personal): #1–34: Heart of the Foe.
- Surviving Companion (Slotless): #1–23: Return to Sender.
Aah! Meglos! Zigvigix, leader of the Exo-Guardians, sits before an immense cargo bay filled with crates of supplies. “They say an army marches on its stomach, but it also fights with guns and ammo! Can you take a look at all our gear to make sure it works and then load it onto the ships? Just try to keep the explosives separated from the food, please. We don’t want to have that mistake happen again!”
You can roll Athletics, Engineering, Medicine, or Perception to help Ziggy. There's significant bonuses for good roleplaying and mentioning your mission history (if you have the chronicle sheet)

That is so great use of a labelling machine. Ziggy says I knew I could count on you! Zigvigix grants the group priority access to some Starfinder Society equipment.
Once during the adventure, each PC can requisition a weapon with an item level up to the PC’s level for the duration of one mission. The group
must use this ability prior to starting a new encounter, and this ability cannot be used during Part 4. The weapon comes with a full battery or magazine.
In addition to the reward above, the PCs can also requisition a single consumable item with an item level up to the PC’s level. These consumables cannot have permanent effects, and PCs who don’t use them during the course of the scenario must return them at the end of the adventure.
Fitch, Celita, Iteration-177, VC Arvin, Radaszam and VC Naiaj are also standing present, each busy with their own thing. I'll wait for more PCs to come in to progress

Meglos is a Witchwyrd and as of this mission the only Witchwyrd he knows of in the Starfinder society. Standing at a very spindly 7ft tall, Meglos wears the Face Hood and Mask of the majority of his race even when hes not in armor. If asked, he will state he can only remove it in the presence of another Witchwyd.
THere is generally a small bright red star that is seen above the head of Meglos, his stellar mote. What is know about his past is that he was in the employ of the Tetrad the interplanar Witchwyrd mega corporation and was on one of their point teams. Something went bad and of the 4 members, Meglos was only survivor and was rumored to have spent 3 months in an escape pod before he was recovered. Like most of his race , Meglos does enjoy to speak , to hear new stories and meet new people but does not hold his peoples trading skills. He does however have his species love of spicy and hot food. Meglos will often be found putting curry paste or spices on just about anything he is given to eat
Meglos is know for his fairly basic combat tactics. Move in close and strike. Having access to a range of powers he can also vary those tactics but is often found in close proximity to the enemy or target.
Finally if you let him, Meglos will attempt to take charge. He was training to become the First (Team leader) before he lost his team. Those tendencies will still kick in

Kneepuncher has High Society Influence (Iteration-177).
A large hover suit with a shield slowly lowers to the ground a few meters away from the others. With a hiss of steam, the cockpit opens, and a green-haired halfling with a prosthetic right arm exits. He approaches the group and grumbles, "I don't know if I'll ever get all the bits of trash out of this armor..."
He then appears to be distracted for a moment, and whispers to no one in particular, "You don't count, but you might if you keep this up."
"Anyway, I am called Kneepuncher, at least when I am in that getup," he continues, pointing a thumb over his shoulder at the powered armor. "I think we all know why they picked me for this job."
He then looks at Ziggy. "Hey, boss, I'll be happy to..." - he notices the well-organized pile by Meglos - "...stay ready for whatever we need to do next."

"Your suit has been professionally cleaned. Twice," a kish woman with a datapad says with obvious exasperation. "My name is Kinbara, and I am, ahem, Mr. Puncher's assistant. Because he can't keep that lump of metal in one piece without me."

It looks like Venture-Captain Arvin is in need of some help. The Venture-Captain looks over a group of anxious recruits in the mess hall. “Those green agents are not ready for a battle against an organized foe. Sadly, they’re liabilities when they’re frightened. Talk them through some of your experiences, set them at ease, and help them prepare for the challenges they’ll face ahead. We need them primed and ready for combat if we’re going to win this.”
To help Arvin, I need a Bluff, Diplomacy, Intimidate, or Profession (any relevant Profession skill) check. Again, good roleplaying and mentioning past adventures (backed by chronicle sheets) carries a bonus.

I have Honorbound Allies on this character.
The dark-skinned dwarf reports for duty with a brief salute. His uniform has the stylized gold and black coloring, with a badge/logo on his chest that says LFCH. On his back is a starfinder backpack that has an embroidered label that reads "Pact World Warriors" on it, a memento from his brief stint starring in a "reality" vid.
As he's introduced to the rest of his team, he nods around, "Brock Laserforge, Chief Tactical Officer of Laserforge Clan Holdings. We've devoted a lot of support and resources to the Starfinders over the last couple of years, and I'm happy to be here to make sure that investment pays off by opening up the Scoured Stars, and stomping these Jinsuls like the bugs they are." If there are any shirren or other bug-like aliens around, he glances toward them and mutters, somewhat sheepishly, "No offense intended."
Brock nods to Ziggy, as he begins sorting massive boxes into appropriate piles. "Yeah, I've been stuck in the Azlanti Star Empire, and it's not a fun thing when you've got such a lack of supply lines."
Athletics to help Ziggy: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (4) + 16 = 20
When asked by Arvin, Brock pulls aside a group of the rookies and begins running them through drills. "You are here because you've got skills that we need. I've faced these jinsuls in the field of combat, when those cowards bombed and invaded a stinkin' hospital! We fought them off, and you can too! Rely on those skills. Rely on your teammates. And if that doesn't motivate you, then rely on the fact that if you run in the middle of battle, I will hunt you down! Move! Move!"
Intimidate w/ voice amplifier and expertise to assist Arvin: 1d20 + 15 + 1d6 ⇒ (7) + 15 + (3) = 25

I have played all those but none with this character, sadly. Oh well.
A tall elven woman with black hair and green eyes leaning up against a set of large armor with spiked clinging treads gives a salute Zigvigix's way, and then to the rest of her group. "I'm Corporal Melisende, served in the Formian war back on Castrovel and moved to the Burning Archipelago to live with my old military mates after we were done. Unfortunately they started getting old and angry and some rather xenophobic in their age over there and I realized maybe it was time I moved on and find a new crew for the next few decades, so I've been offering my services here to the Starfinder Society for a few years now and doing what I can to offer fire support when the little archeologists get a bit in over their heads."
Mel then hops into her armor and slides into it in one fell swoop like the second layer of skin that it is to her and picks up a couple crates from Ziggy. "Don't you worry, making ways is my specialty, I'm a specialist in being at the forefront of Starfinder extraction operations. I think I've done so at least 3 times in missions now. Let me get these moved for you."
Athletics: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (20) + 17 = 37
Afterwards she goes to assist Arvin. "Well I don't really know if my experiences would set them at ease, per se... I think I've spent most of my time in Society continuing to fight battles but I'll see if I can impress upon them the importance of being prepared and what it'll mean for you if you aren't as such out here."
Intimidate, Psychic Insight: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (20) + 16 = 36

Meglos moves to a more central vantage point to address the green recruits.
“ Recruits. I am Meglos. Recently I had my own first ever encounter with the Jinsul. A sovereign planet part of the Kreiholm was to be our next mission... to establish diplomatic relations with the people of that governing body, when we arrived, we found the Jinsul already there and attacking those who were too sick to defend themselves in a hospital. Lucky it seemed they had just arrived and we pushed the, back. “
“ I tell you this, not to stoke some burning fervour or hatred in your heart. Save that for another day. But because it is something we would never do. If you find an injured bleeding out Jinsul in the field, do not simply become like them and kill for no other reason but to kill. They may not give us or other a chance for survival but we must. Protect those around you but never forget that it is easy to kill, it is much harder to remove the Images from your mind of those you have killed. Mine will never leave me. We fight today not just for each other but also to perhaps show to the Jinsul that there is more than hatred, more than death and more than destruction”
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (6) + 22 = 281d8 ⇒ 1 sidreal boosted diplomacy

A halfling with semi kempt white hair trails along behind the other veteran starfinders. He wears a half baklava, covering most of his face. But, his piercing purple eyes seem adept at keeping him apprised of the nearby goings-on. He wears/carries a metal case on his back nearly the size of himself.
Periodically he jots things down on a personal data datapad that takes up most of his right forearm.
Should you decide that you have heard of Drei, he is a mute and a skilled sharpshooter.

Brock manages to scare the living daylights out of the recruits, and with some further 'encouragement' from the Corporal, Meglos steps in with a tale of a Jinsul encounter - when the group is done, they're quite certain that the new recruits are now a reliable and motivated force.
You get a reward: The PCs improve their allies’ morale, making them more reliable in combat. Once during the adventure, the group can gain the benefit of aid another (+2 bonus) to all skill checks and attack rolls for 1 round. In place of the reward once during the adventure, when the table uses an Aid Token, they gain two benefits instead of one. They cannot choose the same effect twice.
Radaszam, leader of the Acquisitives, overlooks a large holographic map of the Scoured Stars system, overlaid with smaller, more detailed maps of terrain on specific planets. “I don’t know about you, but I’m keen to take this fight to the jinsuls on their home turf. We have topographic data collected from our last foray into the Scoured Stars, plus some information on fighting styles our agents have reported from past jinsul encounters. See if you can make sense of it all and formulate a plan of attack.”

Melisende shrugs her shoulders. "Not really my area of expertise, Rad. But let me bring Dr. Tovevia in here. The Thing about war is that it rarely changes. The two sides might be different but there are only so many ways to success and plenty more paths to failure. I have logged more than a few hours on a battlefield and believe that either here or here would be our best place for an initial engagement. This is entirely dependant on a soft landing however. If we encounter air support a hard landing is possible but carries far more risk

The Corporal and Meglos decipher the cartography, and highlight some pinch point and stellar sweepways which can be used to smart repositioning. All of these elements can be incorporated into a plan of engagement.

Once during the adventure, while in the same location as a fleet, the PCs can instead activate this reward to gain a +2 bonus to each of their initiative checks for that mission.
Celita, leader of the Dataphiles, feverishly works on the mainframe in the command center of the Master of Stars. “Greetings, I’m Celita of the Dataphiles. You may have known me as Historia-7, though I’ve since stopped using that name due to reasons we don’t have the time to discuss. I think I’ve devised a way to artificially replicate the resonance effects of the Tear relic to help our ships stay in communication and traverse the Drift more precisely. I need you to double-check my code for errors and then see if you can shield the network from detection by jinsul sensors.”
Computers, Physical Science, or Profession (technician), you can help my mentioning a past adventure that featured a species descended from the Scoured Stars

As preparations wind down, a stillness settles over the crowd of Starfinders gathered on the command deck of the Master of Stars. First Seeker Jadnura, flanked by nominated First Seeker Luwazi Elsebo and the android Iteration-177, steps forward to an elevated captain’s platform and looks out over the assembled agents. Jadnura’s resonant voice carries across the assembly.
“Starfinders! Today we gather not merely as explorers and scholars, but as defenders of the galaxy. Ever since the jinsuls ambushed our rescue mission into the Scoured Stars, they have assailed us and our allies at every turn. The danger the jinsuls present to our friends and homes cannot be ignored. We now know that they intend to awaken the divine being responsible for trapping our first expedition into the Scoured Stars. We know that this scheme threatens not only the Scoured Stars but all the space surrounding it. This leaves us with one mission: break the jinsul fleet and drive them from the Scoured Stars, putting an end to their depredations once and for all. Today we march to war!”
The Starfinders disperse to their ships and launch into orbit, assembling into either tactical strike formations or vanguards surrounding the larger vessels. The fleet’s synchronized screens flash to life, showing Luwazi Elsebo from her own command station.
“We are ready to approach the Scoured Stars system from the outer orbit of the Agillae system’s star. The majority of our fleet will stay together to protect our supplies and support our ground troops, while our field agents are to scout the system and find the most strategic places to engage the jinsuls. Kadrical’s divine herald, Dhurus, is the head of the snake: find where he is hiding so we can direct our full forces against him. Once we close in on him, we can face down Dhurus on equal footing and end this conflict.” She nods to the camera, continuing. "Stick together, support each other, and stay the course. We live or die as one today. Good luck, Starfinders. Fleet—activate Drift engines now!”
The screen shuts off, and each formation of starships surges forward as a unit, vanishing into the Drift.
The Starfinder fleet emerges from the Drift as a single force, the three suns of the Scoured Stars burning brightly against the surrounding void. Moments later, onboard computers ping with streams of incoming data detailing nearby jinsul ships, planets with concentrated industrial activity, and further commands from the First Seekers. Several files emerge on the captains’ screens: briefings of locations where field agents could find useful information about how best to target the jinsul fleet’s weak points.
Table GMs, Part 1 has started. The Starfinder Fleet is currently at Agillae-2, while the Jinsul Fleet is at Agillae-4.

Game on! I've noted all your bonuses on the handouts.
You'll also find a list of mission on the handouts, please choose a mission you want to undertake! Note that one of them has the Starfinder fleet over it, another the Jinsul fleet, which will make those missions easier/harder depending whose side you're on ;-). First mission with two votes gets picked.

I think my top choice would be Callion-2 since I think even our big fighty party has social skills that would play to our strengths.
Second choice would be Agillae-4, we have at least two tech support hirelings... right?

Radaszam’s already imposing vesk figure appears extra threatening as he looms over a bound jinsul on his starship’s bridge. “Let me introduce you to my guest, Teskrkah, a jinsul who claims to have betrayed her teammates—those teammates being an assassination squad sent to kill me. Now, I don’t know what to believe, so I want you to figure out the truth here. I have some bigger fires I need to put out at the moment, so I’m handing this off to you. I’ve programmed the computer to translate for you if you need it. Remember, we’re Starfinders and not depraved killers, so don’t torture this pitiful creature. Just get what information you can from her. Engage the ship’s autopilot once you’ve gotten her to talk and it’ll bring you right to my location.
Teskrkah struggles against her restraints for a moment, then slumps into the chair with a series of mandible clicks. The computer registers the clicks as a language and translates, “Dhurus, though an abominable curse on my people, seems set to mount you atop its flagship, as it did to the great heroes we once followed.”

Meglos takes a moment to adjust grip on his weapon, and then bears it down with all his might, cleaving through both demons with one stroke. The first demon he hits is barely up on its feet, and the second looks severely hurt as well.

Drei takes a shot at the demon, hitting it between the eyes, which turns out to be as deadly for demons as it is for humanoids.
Kneepuncher then follows with a series of brutal strikes, the first of which connects and deals substantial damage.

With two heavy blasts of artillery, and a coup-de-grace with a storm hammer, the final demon snuffs it, leaving the room a mess, but a safe mess.
Radaszam grunts as he hears the report I was aware these were fanatics, but summoning demons. That's quite a feat. You have gathered a name, that is of great value. We need to plug this leak, he says as he immediately type in some coordinates on his data pad to start tracking a person.
Mission success! I'll run Agillae-4 now, let me know which one you want to do after that
Celita, the android leader of the Dataphiles, looks down at a three-dimensional hologram of the Scoured Stars, complete with red and green dots representing jinsul and Starfinder ships. “The jinsuls know this system better than we do; as long as they are well supplied, they will outlast and repel us. We need to starve their fleet of resources, but we cannot do that without finding their courier ships’ flight paths. The communications I have intercepted have limited value, but I traced them all back to a massive data-processing station on Agillae-4. I need you to infiltrate the data center, hack the computers, and bring back some intelligence we can use to cut the jinsuls’ supply lines.”
I will be sending you down to the planet in a stealth pod. This is a single use, disposable landing craft. That also means you need to find your own way off the planet... expediently
The stealth pod is very cramped piece of flight hardware, not very different from a starship torpedo. It does the job, though it's definitely a very unpleasant experience hurtling down into enemy territory at terminal velocity. Fortunately, it is also very stealthy, allowing the group to safely land in a alleyway of the hyper-industrialized planet. From there, a vast ovoid tower dotted with spines tipped with satellite dishes is clealry visible.
First order of business is to have a cover id to enter the tower. You mask your approach by fitting into the scenery as “captured” or “converts” (a Hard Culture check), creating a compelling jinsul armor suit (an Average Disguise check), or approaching via unoccupied back routes (a Hard Survival check). You can try one skill check, or aid another. Every skill can count as a success, but only once (i.e. it helps to try all skill checks among you, but only one success for each skill can be counted at max.)

Meglos thinks he might be able to play the convert as being not that religous himself he has seen enough fellow group members over missions definetly be far too religous.
Meglos has no training in Survival OR Disguise but he is pretty good at culture.
"Praise Dhurus! I have seen the light, my eyes were closed to his warmth and vision but now I see properly. I move forward to recieve his blessings!

hopefully 31 is enough!

Kneepuncher looks for someone to help.
Aid Another: 1d20 ⇒ 6 +2 if used for Survival, and will pick that if I have to choose in advance
Maybe he should keep his hands off things now.

Not sure if this helps, but my armor was bought off of a chronicle sheet from Honorbound Emissaries, so it is literally armor that I looted off of a dead jinsul, if that helps anyone with the disguise check.
Brock gets to work on his armor, reconfiguring it as best he can to make him look more like a jinsul (somehow).
