Zelvin conveys the proposal to the others, and they discuss it amongst themselves in low voices. "It sounds okay to me," Zelvin says. "Leastwise they didn't attack us when we were separated. But they could be waiting for these gremlins to wear us down. Anyways, I'm convinced Mr. Khonnir went this way, so we've got to figure out how to get through that door they say he went through, and this seems like our best bet." He wrinkles his nose. "It's going to get loud in here with all our guns going off. Let's lock and load!"

He returns to Sef. "Looks like we're on board. You want to take us to where the gremlins are, and we'll clear 'em out?"

"Alright. I'm not going in there, but they're in the caverns to the east of here," Sef says with a tad bit of venom in her voice, pointing to what seemed to be a relatively-cramped network of caverns to your east.

These narrow tunnels and nondescript caves have little headroom, with ceilings reaching a height of only 5 feet, forcing most Medium creatures, i.e. the entire party, to stoop slightly in order to navigate them properly.

There are three entrances to the Jinkin nest, two from the south, and one from the west that the sectiion of the party talking to Sef is able to see through. Which of the entrances do you lot want to duck down and enter into?

Sorry for the delay, preparing for hopefully enrolling in Uni has been biting me in the rear, and to top it off I've been sick the past few days. Blegh, either way, let's continue now that that's over.

I assume that Grezzag has point. After that we have an order question. Do we want me taking 2nd spot, as reach weapon backup, or taking tail end charlie? Where does everyone else want to be?

I think putting melee fighters first is a good idea, so I agree having Khoran second behind Grezzag is a good plan. Zelvin will probably be toward the back, since all he can do at this point is shoot his pistol, which is pretty unreliable. Alyn's got a much better chance of hitting anything, so I think she should be further forward.

put my general party order thoughts in discussion. For the current situation, is it worth spreading out a bit? It's hard for everyone to get a hit in these narrow corridors and I don't want to hog all the hitting things.

In terms of where to go, I'd probably enter from the main cavern so we don't crowd the skulk leader, and I guess just sweep around following the right wall.

Move your character to whichever cave you're investigating first. You can go in single file or split up, but either way, roll me a Perception check, and if you want to attempt to disable said trap if you see it, you can give me a Disable Device check as well. Initiative and the Jinkins should come relatively soon.

With a suprised squeak Penka quickly jumps back away from the gremlin at her feet and shoots at it.

Zelvin's bullet manages to catch the creature, but Penka's bolt goes wide and strikes the cave wall, doing no damage to the nimble Gremlin in front of you. The gremlin you struck Zelvin, however, looks completely unfazed as the bullet merely plinks off of it.They don't seem to understand your threat, however. DR 5.

Undercommon:
"None of us speak Common! Your insults and threats are lost on us! ROIG! Go after the half-orc"

The one closest to Grezzag, apparently Roig, goes up to strike at the half-orc. However, the Tiny shortsword merely plants itself into the ground as the creature miserably whiffs the attack.

Damage, Sneak Attack: 1d3 - 4 + 1d6 ⇒ (1) - 4 + (6) = 3

Oh yeah, forgot that. They're fey, so cold iron definitely bypasses resistance. They go down easily once you actually manage to hit them, but hitting them is the problem.

I hate to try and retcon, but if Khoran had told us they had DR, I would have used Deadly Aim on my attack. That would have added 2 damage, which I think would have hurt it. Can we add that in?

Assuming you're also reloading, Alyn. Would you also like to retcon to Deadly Aim? Technically I shouldn't have allowed Zelvin to, since If I Remember Correctly you need BAB +1, but I'm letting it slide for now.

The bullet from Alyn's pistol strikes the jinkin gremlin right in the forehead, but it seems unfazed as it calls for allies at the top of its lungs, shouting "VERRR!" as another Jinkin Gremlin suddenly appears at Khoran's feet, ready to stab him in his foot.

"Aacck!"; Khoran is startled by an enemy appearing where a longspear is just not going to be helpful...
A moment's concentration sees vines sprout to grab the tiny creature, meanwhile his familiar fakes a lunge at it as a distraction to set it up for Grezzag.

Khoran Standard - Use Silkstring snare on Green (the one on my toes). Reflex Save DC 14 " or be entangled and anchored in place. The foe can escape the silk as a standard action with a successful Escape Artist or Strength check at the same DC, or by dealing an amount of damage to the silk equal to double the shaman’s class level (the silk has hardness 0). This hex lasts a number of rounds equal to 3 + the shaman’s Wisdom modifier."

"GROG!" the one by Zelvin's feet screams as he steps up to Zelvin's feet. It attempts to stab at Khoran's feet, although whether it can actually do any damage to the much larger creature is a different story.

Meanwhile, yet another one appears at Alyn's feat, screaming in a very heavily accented Taldane "LOUD WEAPONS," as they prepare to stab Alyn.

He steps to the side, levels his magic revolver at the one that had appeared at his feet, and squeezes off another shot.

Grezzag frowns at the shouts behind him and he turns to face the gremlin that has popped in at Khoran's feet. With the creature ensnared and distracted by the wyrd, Grezzag easily hit it with a powerful swing of his axe - although the follow-up swipe with the back end swishes harmlessly in front of the gremlin.

Hekau will try a Dirty Trick to blind a gremlin (Purple), kicking sand in its face.
Tiny creatures often have poor CMD, and since they don't have any reach they can't take an AOO on Hekau for attempting it.

Hopefully that makes it easier for the others to hit.

Penka thinks a bomb, or maybe some acid, would be a good thing to try. But, it's crowded and she isn't confident she could use one without also injuring others who are close by. She reloads her cross bow and takes another shot even though she doubts it will make any difference.

Alyn bites back a yelp as the gremlin appears out of nowhere, reloading with an alchemical cartridge before firing again.

Yeah. Admittedly that's the one downside to techslingers. No quick clear. This is the last fight before level 2, and you could go back up to town if you want/need to after this fight is over, I believe.

In undercommon you hear a loud, "OW MY EYE," as the gremlin next to Hekau is blinded, and a resounding flood as the vines around the other go slack as the gremlin falls to the floor, unconscious.

Then Khoran calls on the spirits again, asking them to trap one of the gremlins. Then he squeezes past Grezzag to give him some space to work in, saying "Thanks Grezzag!" as he goes.

"MISSED GREYHAIR," the would-be-restrained Jinkin Gremlin screams in Undercommon as it deftly avoids being restrained by the silk. The unrestrained and unblinded Gremlin continues to stab and bite at Alyn, hoping to stab the Techslinger while gnawing at her legs as well. Of course, the tiny creatures can only manage a little pinpick at best.

Short Sword +6: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
Crit Confirm: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
Still 1 nonlethal if I'm not mistaken
Bite +1: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Meanwhile the blinded moves to Alyn somehow, with his completely blurred vision by the dirty trick to his eyes, and atttempts to damage her.

Bite +1: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13

The shortsword attack from the blinded Jinkin misses wildly, but the bite lands while Alyn is distracted by the other Jinkin at hertoes, causing it to sting a bit more.

Grezzag turns around and repositions himself next to the remaining gremlines. He delivers a ferocious swing at the nearest enemy, but in his effort to avoid hitting Alyn, his strike veers of course and whizzes past the tiny gremlin.
